Knotted Mohawk Updo! Short, Medium, Or Long Hairstyle!

Hey guys so today I am going to do a knotted updo, I'm not exactly sure how I'm gon na go about doing this, but we're just gon na go along with it. So I'm probably gon na do a voiceover for this next section, where I'm showing you how I do it, but yeah let's go ahead and get into it. Okay, I'm going to start out with some Amica texture spray and I'm just going to spray it in two sections of my hair and then I'm just going to take my brush. If you have a comb musicom, I couldn't find my comb I'm just going to lightly. Tease these two sections just to give it a little bit of volume when we pull our hair back into like a little pouf. So I just smooth it out my hair and then I'm sectioning it and I'm going to twist it a little bit to create our pouf and just make it. However, poofy you'd like if you don't want a big pouf, don't make a big pouf. But this looks good to me, so i'm just going to bobby pin it into place here. I used two bobby pins and that was secure enough for my hair so onto the hairstyle. So i'm going to take two sections from each side of my head and then basically we are just doing a knot. So i'm going to do a knot pretty self-explanatory how to do a knot. So i do it and yeah. Then i'm just going to take a bobby pin and i'm gon na place it down and kind of like ended, an angle. So you don't see it hanging down and the knot and then I'm gon na add hair into each section. So just gathering hair from the sides adding them in and then we're gon na do the same. Damn thing so we are going to do another knot, so just make a knot and then you're gon na take a bobby pin and then put it right through that. Knotted part that we created again just kind of angle: it so that you don't see the bobby pin in each knot so again add in some hair to each section. You can make these as big or as little as you would like, and you are just pretty much repeating this the entire way down, so we are just creating another knot and then Bobby pinning that beautiful knot into place. Sorry, if you don't like to hear next crack, but definitely had a little kink in my neck, so I had to get it out so yeah just add in hair from each section and then do another knot. Now it's important to note that I use Sally Beauty. Meta grip bobby pins: I've used these things forever, they're like four or five dollars you they come in this cute little jar and there are a ton of them. So I highly recommend these are so secure. I swear to you if you use these and then compare them to like Conair or something it there's. No comparison like Conair feel so cheap compared to the medical ones. So make sure you get the meta group ones because you will not be disappointed, but, as you can see here, I am just continuing to knot. This hairstyle gathering sections, oh and I forgot to show you the most important step, which is when you get towards the bottom, and you run out of hair. My camera died and I had no idea so I didn't film it, which is great, but I did create a last knot which you're gon na see here, but you're not gon na see how I did the rest of it, but I pretty much just tied it Into an elastic and then rolled it up, underneath this knotted little updo, so the rest of my hair is like pushed up under this up too. If that makes any sense. So now I'm just taking some texture spray and then just kind of pain. Kicking it a little bit totally optional. If you want to do this or not another thing, you can do with this hairstyle. If you do have super long hair, maybe you can't tuck it under like I did. You could always do a half up hairstyle. This looks so cute. That'S a half up, half down hairstyle! So then I'm just taking some hair out on the front. You can kind of rough it up mess it up as much as you want to give it whatever kind of look you're going for. But this is just a super cute everyday updo. You could always add some curls make it more formal or just you know, whatever. Whatever floats your boat, but this is how I am wearing it today. I think it's so cute, I'm obsessed with it.
