N A T U R A L H A I R J O U R N E Y:

I started transitioning my hair July 2014, that is the month of my last perm. I chopped off my perm ends on October 17, 2015! I am NOT big on hair types, but I do believe my hair texture is between 3c & 4a.

Hey guys, I need money here. Welcome back to my channel today, I'm bringing you guys a quick tutorial on how I style an old braid out into a sleek top bun. So I just section off my hair cuz, just more manageable to style for me and I'm just spraying some water in it just to soften it up a little just lick, my hair down, I'm using the Eagle styling gel. It'S the black, castor oil, flaxseed, um gel and I'm just using it around my hair, just to slick the perimeters down, and I use a soft brush and some water just to get it to lay down and be as sleek as possible. This is a whole lot of hair, so a whole lot of gel and a whole lot of water. Is it gon na get the job done? I don't know about you, but for me the hardest part of doing a bun is actually getting the hair in the bun making sure is at the right point like like it's high enough making sure it's tight enough. But as you see, I finally got it and now I'm just like putting out some baby hair than just trying to see where I wan na do with styling the front part so because I will be adding extra hair to my bun. I'M now, like you know, just tying down my puffs and what I do is I separate it into two parts and then I twist it and then wrap it around each other I usually bobby, pin to secure over. For today. I don't know it was working. It was staying so because I hate pins in my hair. I just kept it that way, moving on to slicking net front down and I'm using just edge control all the products I'm using will be in the description box, and I am just using a toothbrush and just flicking the front into the desired like smoosh. Now just lick my hair down even more I'm using the gorilla gel snot and this stuff is the real deal and I just take a really good amount and I just place it all around my hair - and I just do this right before I put my scarf On for my hair to kind of set and lay down so now, it's time to add the curly hair extensions, and this is like beauty, supply store, curly hair and I got it from my local beauty. Supply store for like ten bucks and as you can see like earlier, I put a rubber band around the weft of the curly hair and I placed our rubber band on my bun and now I'm just adjusting it and getting it ready to see how I want To wrap it around, my bun and you know just wrap it around and I'm ash gon na have to secure with bobby pins this time and I grab some bobby pins and I am just securing the west's around and yeah so now, I'm just adding more bobby Pins to make sure that it's really secure on my head - and I am wrapping around to now - actually style the curly hair to like my liking, not trying to do it. You know too messy, but not too, you know put together. So this is actually a tricky part for me too trying to get it. You know the perfect messy bun, so with some adjustment and adding more bobby pins, you know I finally get to the look, and this is the final look. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you in my next video bye,
