So for this hairstyle we're gon na need a couple of things. Our handy-dandy gorilla, snot gel we're gon na need some canned edge control, dick hair scrunchies, as well as some cones and the good old bristle brush ticket back hair slicked and some clips to section out your sections. So we're gon na be doing like a faux, hawk style, so we're gon na need to split our hair into three sections. So the section up at the top you're gon na want to make sure you get it pretty squared out and straight. Then you want it to be like the smaller portion of the sections and then to achieve the second and the third section. All we're gon na do is we're just gon na split the back into two horizontally and just make sure it's perfect, and I love using the tail end of the tail comb to achieve a straight precise line. Now that we're gon na clip that out the way we're just gon na start with combing out the ends with a wide tooth comb and as you can see, I have to do a faux hawk. Stop because I'm still growing out my undercut that I had back in September, but it's coming on long. So now we're gon na use our hand to edge control and we're gon na use that to basically set the foundation for our slicks. So each section I'm going to slick down with the can two edge connected tutorials. I will link them below. I love using edge control to make basically make the foundation of my updos because it eliminates the amount of gel I have to put on my hair, like I don't have to pack on the gel like before. So when you use a bristle brush and you just brush up your hair with the edge control, you'll see how sleek he already gets. But everybody knows like edge. Control is not like 24-hour hold, so we're gon na back it up with a gorilla snot, and it's just a little dollop like that and we're just gon na use that pretty much reinforce and have security over the areas that we put the edge control. So we're just gon na use a small tooth comb to comb up the hair slick it down and secure everything with a thick scrunchie and personally I love purchasing my scrunchies from our dens they're. Actually, the best scrunchies like I feel like I should do a video just on those scrunchies like they do not stretch out. They don't break they're perfect. Of course, you lose them over time, but like I'm, forever buying them and then we're just gon na twist on the end and for this doll we want to twist on our ends, because I'm gon na be twisting the Kanekalon here as I'll see you later and It just makes it easy to conceal and blend in so we're just gon na repeat this step or this process I should say of putting the edge control over the sections, slicking them down and then going in with the Gorillaz Nigel and basically that's just repetitive for The other three sections you'll notice, that my hands are like super breeziness, because I have my vatika coconut oil, like all up in my hair, a little tip fYI, and even though this is a really good tip. I don't even follow my own advice. You don't want to have too much oil in your hair when you're doing slicks, because it's just counterproductive with the gel but like I just can't not have my hair greased up, like I'm sorry and usually like makes the gel not hold well when your hair is Super greasy, so I try to keep it on a minimum, but just like don't overdo it. So now we have two sections down and oh one more to go. Another great tip is, if you want your slick to be perfectly slick, you need to have your hair. If not blow dried out, um flat ironed like a light flat iron, just like a quick one pass so that your roots are straight and your hair, the tresses itself are straight. That'S what's gon na help the hair to lay down without having to cake on heaps and heaps and heaps of gel. So, now that all our three sections are done, we're just gon na wrap around on our little twisted ends and just secure them with a little rubber band. Just want to make sure that everything is smooth before we tie it down and we're just gon na back. It up with some pump it up spritz, you know updos on it up to it, awesome good I'll pump it up spritz and then we're just gon na use, a silk scarf, wrap our head up and let this set overnight it's day, two and now we're gon Na get a pop in so we can mean two pieces of kanekalon braiding, hair and some bobby pins, and because I was doing my makeup before I was just securing my edges down with some black wrap strips. So basically with the Kanekalon hair. You just want to tease out the end a little bit so they're, not blunt and you're gon na tie one pack on to the first one and do the exact same thing, with the very back bun tease out the ends of the packs of the Kanekalon hair And secure it to the back button, we're gon na leave the middle bun free, because that's what's gon na help us create the back portion of the style and all we're gon na do is just go ahead and split each pack into two and create two jumbo Twists with each pack, so in total, we're gon na have four jumbo twists. Believe me guys. This hairstyle is like super easy and adult the videos going fast, but in real life like this hairstyle about five to seven minutes to achieve now we're gon na use. These bobby pins - and this pack happens to have the long ones and the short ones, and I love your long bobby pins like love them so for the top piece, we're basically gon na. Just take the tail part of the ponytail, wrap it inwards and just wrap it in like a swiss bun and position it to where we're comfortable on our forehead area. So this is gon na be the focal point. This is the eye-catching piece. This is what's gon na frame out our face and just use pins to secure it in place. I like to always go in and secure the sides make sure the sides are good and then I go in, and I start tucking in the center and make sure that's good now for the very top piece we're gon na go ahead and do the exact same Process where we're just gon na roll it inwards into a little Swiss bun and pin it down right on top of the middle section and, like I said, go ahead and just secure it down, pin it down now for the back, so we're gon na take one Side of the twist and we're basically gon na create a figure eight around the two little buns and that's it create the little figure. Eight and tuck everything in pin it in and we're just gon na go ahead and do the exact same thing. We'Re gon na create the figure eight motion with the very last twist, and you see this is why I said you guys want to twist the end parts of your little buns because they basically blend in, even though I I'm gon na cover it. If you didn't cover it, it would blend in. So if it's gone ahead and done the same figure, eight motion again and I'm securing everything with pins and there you pretty much, have it guys. That'S all it takes. Is some bobby pins and just wrapping it all around, so I hope you guys enjoyed it remember to subscribe. You
