Long Natural Hair - Semi-Straight Hair, Updos And Trimming- Part 1

Good morning, i am back with another video I'm going to film this in maybe stages today. The reason why I want to make a video today is because, as you all can see, my hair is straight or semi straight. I'M going to try to just show you this morning how I preserve my straight hair, just when I'm sleeping or whenever I don't straighten my hair at all, so this is more so. This was something that I've been wanting to do all year, because I its trim time and I don't trim my hair on a schedule, but when it's time for it to be trimmed, I'd like to straighten it sometimes and other times I'll. Just put it in single two strand twists all over my head, maybe about 25 to 30 twists all over my head and then I just pull it taut and then click the end off of it. I'M going to maybe show some styles that I do while my hair is straight or semi straight, and I'm going to show how I trim my hair and it's straightened state. This is my hair fresh from the bed, and I put it in two doughnuts, mainly because yesterday I wore my hair and a half up half down I'm going to post a picture on my Instagram or i might post one here. I don't know, but I usually put it in two doughnuts and let's see John Doe. My mirror is over here. So this is my hair in it straightened state I'm just kind of shaking out the waves but yeah. It has gained a lot of length this year. I'M pretty happy about its progress. It'S not combed out right now or anything, but just want to show you all my hair and it's semi straighten state and maybe do a length check. Let'S see if i can find that part again. This is what my hair looks. Like fresh out of the two, not pi, not um, donuts fresh out of the two big pin curls, what you can call them and/or bantu knots. How do you want to label them, but I'm just going to kind of run my hands through here. I don't plan on running a comb through this until later on today, but i just want to show a quick length check. Let'S see okay, so that's how long my hair is it's past my waist, it's hitting right at my tailbone and I'm probably going to trim off at least an inch today, but this will be probably my fourth trim this year and, like I said I don't trim On schedule, I just trim whenever I feel like my ends, need trimming now. One thing I can say with the water only and the well I'll, atribute more to less single strand knots with the finger detangling versus the water. Only because I have not used a comb in months, I don't know when the last time I use a comb. I used one Sunday because I straightened my hair and I used my wide tooth comb to comb through. I don't plan to straighten again any time. So that's another reason why i went ahead and straightened it. I had the time my hair was dirty. It'S time for up in tonight, clay wash it's been almost three weeks and I'm ready to get back into my water and my curly texture, kohli hair, I'm just going to kind of coax my hair into a bun as opposed to running a comb through it cuz. I do not like to comb through my hair a lot when it is straightened what I can feel. I, let's see them all that seba me goodness, but anyway I don't like to run the comb through my hair, very often when it straight because that's when you see a lot of broken hairs because any pieces that are weak or there's a not like a little Single strand, not maybe in it they will snap off. I have seen a decrease in single strand knots since i started finger detangling exclusively in somewhere that the middle middle to the end of 2013, so i've been finger detangling for two years and my hair is thriving. I love finger detangling, my Y tooth comb, pretty much stays in the drawer. Now you, it doesn't really matter that the ends are not perfectly smooth because then all the hair is going up in a bun and then just take it a scratchy, something that matches the color of your hair either black or brown. Another style you can wear is pull back in my cup flexi a clip or a pocari clip like one of these. I love my fork are eclipse. These are not fukari like the real ones. These are the knockoffs from scunci and conair. I have a little collection, then we're going to have to show you all in a different video, but you can find them at Ulta know. If you want amazon, I don't like the ones with the teeth. That'S the one. I found me on the phone, but got this one at Ulta and I just painted it blue with some nail polish. I found that idea online and then this is one from target at this thing for years and it's a little smaller than my other ones. But it's got a really pretty filigree filigree, how you pronounce that design on it and there are no teeth. So I like, wearing my hair in these clips and i'll, show you how, on how I clip my so that's probably how, where my ear as within us out today and like I said you can rocket any way you choose, i'm going to show one more.
