Hello, my lovelies today we're doing an updated how I style my short hair kind of like that. Barely there bend but a little wave, not too intense. So many of you asked for this tutorial on my previous videos. Cuz, you guys liked the look. I just got. Ta warn you it's super easy way too easy. Let me quickly show you guys what I'm, starting with what the hair looks like before begin. So for this, look, I'm not gon na be focusing too much on the lower sections of hair, especially these ones are here and that's why I'm not taking that much sections of my hair to begin with the reason. Why is because the bottom hair is already sure I have a little bit of a natural bend happening there, so I'm not really gon na worry about it. It'S gon na be hittin it regardless. So don't even stress too much about it. Alright, so you need a flat iron for this hairstyle. I'M gon na show you guys two different flat irons, one very expensive one on the more budget-friendly side, so the first one is gon na. Be the crista mess this one retails for around $ 80, which is really good. It'S a really good investment. 80 bucks is not cheap, but it's still one of the cheaper ones that I love and then for the expensive one, the bio ionic 10x. This one is great, you guys know, I like it a lot, and I just want to show you guys that you can use a cheaper flat iron or you an expensive flat iron and depending on what you like, alright. So for this you want to take a section, that's kind of as wide as your flatter, and you can take more. You can take less, but this is why it's so easy and it's such a quick hairstyle, so you're gon na just clamp it down very gently and then you're, just gon na go down hold it there and then kind of go up, hold it and then just Bring it back down just that and then I'm going to take a smaller section and just go a little bit more just add a little bit. More definition see just like that that when you have a lot of been happening underneath - and you have a little bit of defined sections in between so basically I'm taking the flyer and kind of making that little volume towards the top and then I bring it back On the ups opposite side, creating those S waves, basically kind of like an wave going all the way down and then towards the bottom. I like to bring it down straight 1, 2, 3 and then down you can create as many of those waves as you want. It depends how much Bend you on your hair, I like going back in and taking smaller sections after the big sections to create a little bit more definition. I think that really helps play up the look, and this is where I look and see do I want a little bit more curl, do a little bit more wave and sometimes I'll even go back in with a flat iron and just take some sections just kind Of twist them very quickly, just like that, just to add a little bit of Bend when I do that to only the bottom section of my hair, just to add a little bit of a bend, I like that this hairstyle breaks apart the wave. It'S not all the same type of curl or wave happening. So that's what I've been really loving. It looks very kind of natural, very effortless, very minimal, but it looks like you did something to your hair, but it takes like five minutes to do it. I'M going to add a little bit of dry shampoo to this hairstyle, not that I need to improve, because my hair is somewhat fresh. This will just help texturize the look and add a little bit of texture and dimension to the hairstyle and keep in mind. This is a little bit tinted. This is the dry bard dry, shampoo, detox in coconut Coolatta, and it does smell delicious and that completes look. You guys super simple, very effortless, but you can really do this yourself in five minutes or less on short hair. If you'll have longer hair, it's going to take a little bit longer because it's long hair. I hope you guys like this look. I know it's very minimal, it's very easy, but it still creates a really nice look and style at the very end, it's kind of like you tried, but you didn't. You know what I mean. It'S that good part of styling, your hair and it's very simple. Could you please also show the technique your stylist did using a curling iron? Looked like a 1.25 or 1.5" BaByliss Pro barrel, standard spring clip. That might actually be easier for some folks (and much less expensive). My BaByliss ceramic flat iron was an investment at $65. I personally wouldn't call $80 "budget friendly."

The bio ionic ones are just straight up insane!!!! Affordable would be around $40, and yes they are out there.
