What'S up abu fam, it's me your main boo and she is back at it again with a highly requested hair tutorial. I'M not joking! When i say i have been wearing this all summer, it's so chic! So versatile! Okay, you can wear this on a regular night out or you can wear this to a wedding. It'S stunning, wherever you decide to wear this, look you're gon na pop off and when i say that every time i wear this, nobody believes that i did it myself. It looks that good, so to begin, i'm gon na go over all the things that you need. It'S only four things very simple: we're starting off with two hair ties. You can use one, but i use two and these ones are so thick. If you have heavy hair highly recommend these ones, next you're gon na need a bunch of clips and bobby pins. I recommend like seven to ten of them, and these are all over the place like all different shapes and sizes. Next you're gon na need some hairspray and, of course, we're going to need a brush. This one is by tangle teaser, who we're partnering with for today's video. I hope you guys love this hairstyle, let's get into it. So, as you guys can tell, i already have curled my hair, i did mermaid waves all throughout my hair you're going to see it just makes the whole thing a lot easier when you curl ahead of time. I have not brushed out any of my curls. I usually like to let them sit for about 30 minutes before i go in. It just lets the curls cool off and it's going to last a lot longer and now i'm going to grab my tangle teezer brush and i'm going to just use this to work through the curls starting through the top. And this is really just going to help smooth them out and make them all more cohesive. So this brush has a patented two-tier technology which allows it to snake through the hair and give it that shine. It'S super gentle and it's suitable for all hair types, and i just love the way that it makes my scalp feel you guys. I have just been taking much better care of my hair recently. It feels so amazing and when i say this feels like i'm massaging my scalp, you guys know those massagers that you use like on your head. This feels like that also my hair gets so tangled, so fast. It'S always been like that. Even since i was a kid and i remember using tangle teaser, like my entire life, it's literally the only thing that didn't make me cry as a kid like my mom loved it. So, as you can see, the brush like really helps my hair. Look so shiny and full. I also feel like there's a little bit more texture in my hair, and it just doesn't feel as flat as it usually does. And, ladies, this is exactly where we want to be. This is like the perfect dry brush for brushing out your curls, because you got to be careful with which one you use. It can mess up the curl and before i put my hair up, i'm going to just go in with a little bit of texture spray. Again, this just adds a little bit more volume. So now i'm going to go ahead and just part, my hair down the middle like so and once i see that that's good enough, i'm gon na take these two front pieces, so it should create like a little bit of a triangle and i'm just gon na Go ahead and pin those pieces together and we'll come back to them later now. What i'm gon na do is i'm gon na just take my tangle, teezer and just use it kind of to add a little bit of volume at the top and what i'm doing is kind of just taking the hair and grabbing the back of the brush. Just add a little bit of a poof in the ponytail, it makes it look so cute and don't worry, it doesn't look messy once you brush it out, it looks bomb and as the hair is in my hand like so i kind of just like to go Around and use that brush to just smooth out all of the edges all right, so this is what it should be. Looking like from the back - and hopefully you guys can see this when i put the ponytail in my hair, what i'm doing is i'm kind of pushing this up see how this is flat and up. So when i grab my first hair tie, i'm kind of putting pressure on the rest of my head, but leaving the top a little bit loose and what you're going to do is grab individual pieces like so now, depending on where you're going. I recommend to use smaller pieces if you're, going to like a wedding or somewhere, that you want it to look a little bit more elegant and then i would use bigger pieces if you're going to like more of a casual event. It looks more fun like more edgy. Hopefully that makes sense. So i'm going to use like medium-sized pieces today and what i'm going to do is i'm going to just repeat this through the entire ponytail. I just take two fingers and i wrap that hair and i kind of just pin it pretty randomly honestly and i just leave about like an inch out. The curl just really leaves the end looking cute and you can even do this with straight hair and obviously the edges would stick out a little bit more sharp. So it's versatile, okay, you do what you please, and i'm just going to be repeating this on my entire head. The thing that i love about this hairstyle is, you can be pretty messy with it and you don't need to do it exactly the way that i'm doing it, but somehow it always still ends up looking so bomb. So i'm just going to give you an example of what it looks like in the back, i'm just taking my fingers and then going backwards, so the rest of them are pretty forward and then this one is going to be backwards, and i like to use these Bigger clips in the back, because it's just i just know that it holds it really well, and i feel like that's security, okay, and i think it's been not even five minutes and if i wasn't explaining this, it probably would have gone even quicker. So now we're gon na head on to the bangs. I'M gon na grab my brush to just smooth this out and i'm just going to do a middle part right down the center like so so you can do this one of two ways again. You can take the two front pieces like that, or you can take two back pieces, which is also really cute. It makes it look a little bit more random and more fun, so just an example. This is how it would look. This is the front piece and this piece is kind of going for more the back for today's video. I think i'm going to stick with the two front pieces, because, usually when i use these two back pieces, i like them to be straight, so i'm just taking the rest of this slicking. It back and i like to use black clips for this, secure it in place and just same thing wrap it around, and i like to leave this one even looser and then same thing to the side. Lastly, i'm gon na grab some hairspray just to secure that back into place. I'M so happy that i finally filmed this, so you guys can have this to look back to. I hope you enjoyed it as much as i clearly did. Thank you again to tangle teaser for partnering with me for this video. I will have all the information on where to purchase this brush in my description, so make sure to check that out. I love you guys so much and i will be back with my next video bye.
