How To Curl Your Hair Using A Curling Wand Easy Hair Tutorial For Hollywood Waves

Curling Wand Tutorial (more details below)
Post Shower
•brush my hair
•apply heat protectant (IMPORTANT)
•lightly blow dry my hair and let the rest air dry
Once hair is almost completely dry -
smooth out hair with a styling blow dryer hair brush
What You Need:
•1 inch curling wand
•hair serum for added shine and tame frizz (optional)
•hairspray to finish
•fine tooth comb (optional)
•wand glove so you don’t burn your fingers on the wand (optional)
Bonus Tips:
•once you have finished curling your hair, flip your head of hair upside down and hairspray your hair to add volume and bounce
•try not to brush out the curls during the week, either use your fingers to smooth it out or use your fine tooth comb. This will create long lasting curls
•sleep with your hair in a loose low ponytail, soft braid (may make your hair more wavy) or in a loose bun. Use a silk scrunchie to prevent hair breakage and to maintain your curls
•sleep on a silk pillowcase to prevent hair damage and breakage

Today, I'm filming how I curl my hair. This video was highly requested to start you're going to section off your hair, so I usually just do the top half. I use a curling wand to curl my hair, and this is a one inch barrel. So you're going to just take little sections and you're going to hold your wand across. You want to wrap it as tightly around and then you're going to grab it and just kind of hold it for a little bit while it cools and then drop it down, either hold it or Let It Drop and you can pull it. So you get a little bit of a longer wave for your left side, you're going to be using your right hand and curling away from your face, your right side, you're, going to be curling away as well, but you'll be using your left hand. If you want to add volume to your hair, you want to make sure your curling as close to your head as possible for the top pieces to appear longer. I usually start a little bit lower like closer to here. Now. You have two options. You either hair spray or hair, and you leave it like this or what I personally do is. I just take a fine tooth comb and I just lightly brush it through and that's it so now you're done and you can just hairspray your hair and it should last you all week and you can also add just some hair serums.
