Natalie: You just need another toner. Dark hair will naturally throw warmth as your natural undertone is oranger. Just get a root shadow done and that will help. I would just contact the stylist and ask her to do a complementary toner.

Stormi Kelley: I’m a cosmetologist and I have a little tip, but only if you washed your hair after the service within 24 hours. So after you get any chemical service done on your hair to keep the colors longevity it is recommended that you don’t wash your hair for at least a minimum of 24 hrs the longer the better. Bc the outer layer of your hair which is the cuticle will take about that long to close and seal that color in. Your hair needs time to recover (especially after a lightening service) and washing it will only strip away more of your natural oils that protects your hair cuticle, causing the color to just wash out. josdamillio: a toner/glaze should last more then a week. You should contact your stylist and get in for a quick toner. So a couple of things….a toner will come out faster if: -you use cheap/drugstore shampoo or shampoo with sulfates -you wash your hair everyday -you wash your hair within 24 hours of getting color -your hair is damaged or porous -you use purple shampoo too quickly after your color appointment -you use a ton of heat styling Something a lot of people don’t know -do not use purple shampoo straight away after getting your hair done. Purple shampoo will actually strip your glaze out. Only use purple shampoo when your hair is actually yellow. It’s great when used correctly and when used for maintenance in between appointments.

Emily Dahle: The toner should have lasted longer for sure, however it looks like most of the brassiness is towards the roots which would be be from the application technique. Based on what they said about it lightening faster than excepted the ends probably got too blonde too quickly and they had to rinse before they melted you hair. You could try having them retone it or do a shadow root to cover the banding.

FANOLA BLUE is my choice for this. Don’t bother with a toning conditioner it’s not hydrating enough (especially after using a toning shampoo) I would suggest you use a conditioner that is for your hair type or something basic like Pantene repair and protect conditioner
