hey hey! I haven't done a lot of BRIDAL/WEDDING beauty tutorials and as I watched Romeo & Juliet (2013 film) with the gorgeous Hailee Steinfeld & Douglas Booth I was inspired to create some soft, feminine princess hairstyles that would be great for everyday, or a special occasion like a date, prom, a wedding & more!

The first style is How to do Bridal Curls hairstyle, second is bridal hair half up half down hairstyle, and finally we have a bridal updo for long hair. While most of these bridal hairstyles for long hair work best with thick hair or extensions, you can modify the look for medium length hair as well, especially the second style. Incorporate braids or twists easily and look as through you paid a professional :) With these DIY Easy Bridal Hairstyles/ Bohemian Bridal Hairstyles, you can also polish the looks up with tighter curls and less pulling apart the braids.

This tutorial also can be used as prom hairstyles for long hair! I know prom is right around the corner, and this is a series of boho prom hairstyles as well. Hope this gave some of you prom hair inspo for 2017! Please give this video a THUMBS UP & subscribe :D All Links Below:

H a i r :

I used Living Proof Dry Volume Blast,

Pantene Airspray, OGX Oil Of Morocco Weightless Renewing Oil. NuMe middle wand from the Titan 3 set. I also went in with their bubble wand for more natural looking curls around the face but that's optional.

(I used to have nume codes when I did a NuMe sponsorship last year but they expired :( I'm sure if you google NuMe codes you can find a discount!)

I also have clipped in 2 3 clip wefts of Bellami 22 inch extensions to add some volume to my hair. I have this set here: https://www.bellamihair.com/products/b...

You'll need a couple of Bobby-pins, mini hair elastics & a ribbon or beaded accessory to tie into the twist. I got mine from Micheal's, and actually used nail polish to brighten up the beads as they were see through before :)

If you couldn't quite catch the rope braid, here's a great simple tutorial:

Makeup Details: I'm wearing Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Nude, YASH lipstick from MAC, Wild Nude nail polish from Essie - one of my favs!!! & topped the look off with Tender Romance Perfume from Ralph Lauren.

Hi, it's Jackie and for today's tutorial I have a series of hairstyles inspired by Romeo and Juliet, and the version that I am inspired by is the Hailee Steinfeld of Juliet version. So I realized they recently put this to Netflix. I'D never seen it and, as I was watching it, I was like oh my gosh that hair. So I decided to recreate some of the looks, I'm recreating some of her tassels curls, that I absolutely love like that's one of my favorite hair cells and then also a half-up half-down do and finally, her wedding hairstyle. But I simplified it a bit and made it really easy for you guys to be able to recreate. So I hope you enjoy this video. I think these looks are perfect for prom and also a wedding as well and before I get right into the hair, because this isn't a makeup tutorial. I thought I would go over just some of the items that I used to make. This look happen, so this is the hourglass, the lush and ambience strobe lighting blush brilliant nude, I'm obsessed with this blush and then on my list. I am wearing Josh by Mac, which is also a gorgeous nude shade. So that's how I got my look but anyways. Let'S get started with the first hairstyle, don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up. It really helps me out and subscribe you're new here and let's get started first off. I deleted some footage on accident, but to fill you in. I have already clipped in it 2/3 clipped west of Bellamy, extensions on the very under portion of my hair, just so that the clips don't interfere with styling up on top. But it's given me some extra volume, I'm using a my nume wand and starting with the front curl, and this is going outwards and as it's cooling, I'm just pulling apart the curl and brushing out the bottom for more of a fluffy texture. And next I'm going to curl inwards so towards my face, rather than at work and then back to curling outwards, holding the curl in my hand, while it cools and then again just piecing apart. I'M really just switching between curling inwards and outwards around the front section and then, as it cools, as I said, I'm just piecing it apart with my fingers or with a brush. Then, as I go into the back section of my hair, I'm just curling away from my face only and then starting the curl about from where my jawline is for looser waves and lots of length. When we're all done. I'M tossing my hands through the bottom of the curls and then just adding one or two tighter curls, again curling towards my face, just on top to balance out the hair and it's time to repeat on the other side, I am obsessed with my nume ones. I use them all the time and I find my hair doesn't curl very well with traditional curling irons, and this gives me at the curls I'm going for again just curl inwards and outwards at tussling gently apart the curls, especially on the ends and once you've done. The front section then just curl outwards for the remainder of your hair. I love how this looks and I'm going to set with my favorite hairspray. This is the Pantene air spray, as well as going in with living proof a dry volume blast throughout the hair for extra body. I think the hairspray and piecing apart, the curls, is a very important styling step and my favorite to shine spray for the very ends of my hair is by OGX. This one smells amazing forget about you and now is just changing my tops. This shirt is from Anthropologie, it's just a little bit less restrictive on my arms to do this next style, but we are just going to create a really simple rope. Braid for a half-up half-down. Do all you have to do is take a front portion of your hair divide it into two and you're going to twist these two sections going the same way, so I'm twisting away from my face and then I'm twisting those two pieces together the opposite direction. So I'm twisting towards my face the key in creating a rope. Braid is twisting the opposite way of the two twisted sections so that the braid holds otherwise. It just unravels, of course, to make it more bohemian, I'm holding the ends and gently loosening up the twists, and then I am pinning it to the side. So I can create the other rope braid and then add them together again twisting the hair backwards and then the two strands together going forward before adding the rope braids together, I like to brush out the back section and add some hairspray just so. My part doesn't trail off and then I'm bringing the twists in and adding an elastic and continuing to fluff out the rope. Braid Hayley wore her braid a bit higher when it was tied off on the head, but I prefer having the half-up half-down do a little lower, but that's up to you now I'm taking a small section from right beside the ponytail we created and I'm wrapping this Around one side of the twist and on the other side of the ponytail doing the same thing and we're going to double that just to make sure it stays put and now that we have these two little loops. It'S time to perfect this look by putting up your fingers between a neat little twist and then squeeze it in a bobby pin in there, so that it stays, looks a very soft and romantic and for finishing Haley as a Juliet inspired touch bring in the bubble. Wand and create very small little curls around the face disappears are more like naturally, curly hair, and this is look number two. I think this is an effortlessly, a pretty look that would be great for prom and you want to do something really fun. Okay and now for the last ultimate of Bridal style from the look before we have the twist connecting together, but instead of creating those two little loops, we had divided the tail of the pony into two twists. These are twisted outwards and then tie off for a little bit of bubbly detailing. I wish I did this a bit neater. If I spent more time on it, I think it would have been a bit more polished, but it still looks cute in the end and here's where having the extensions, really helps, because I personally don't have a crazy amount of hair without them. But you need to take a large section from one side of your head beside the pony tail hanging down and then it clip in and extension if you have one and then we're also going to add some detailing with this beaded accessory. I got this from Michael's. You could also use a ribbon and then just twist your hair together without separating it and just place this as a halo around your head using bobby pins to keep it in place. Now, when you get to the opposite side of your head, you're going to have a lot less hair on this side. So I did a piece of hair directly behind your ear and continue to twist and finish off the halo again, you might have to fix any bumps with some bobby pins and I have some excess ends. So I just bobby pinned the twists into the rest of the style, so you couldn't see where the twisted halo starts or ends. I also added little rhinestone details to the back to break it up and finally take two small sections from the Navy. Your neck bring them over onto your shoulders twist them going towards each other and add a small elastic to continue the flowing detail of her soft romantic. Look, I brushed out the curls and took some face-framing curls out and there's the completed simplified version of Julia's hairstyle. I'M and like all my prom videos that here's me posing in a forest with this gorgeous Lulu's dress. It has lace detailing at the front a low back, and I topped it all off with some a vintage looking accessories. These earrings and bracelets are from ardent hearts, which is my favorite jewelry store on Etsy. So I will have a link for this full look down below and to top it all off. I went in it with my tender romance perfume from Ralph. Lauren ha smells so good. This is my favorite spring perfume. That'S why it's always in my little display here and also on nails. I think this is the perfect shade for, like a Juliet look or just like, if you're wearing a white dress. This is the wild news collection and this is called well moot, so hope you enjoyed this video again make sure you give it a thumbs up and subscribe, and if you ever recreate any of my looks, I would love to see your version. Make sure you tag me on instagram or send me a picture on twitter and use the hashtag j hair day or j makeup day, depending on which look you recreate, because i love to go in and, like those photos, see what you guys are up to anyways I'Ll see you in my next video you

Marbella Elle: I just recently watched the Romeo and Juliet (2013 film) on Netflix too! The setting is amazing! And I love how all the actors portray their characters, but I don't think Hailee Seinfeld is the best Juliet but Douglas Booth makes up for that because he is the perfect Romeo in my opinion! I loved it it's my absolute favorite out of the three movie adaptations! (Zeffirelli’s 1968’s adaptation of Romeo and Juliet and Luhrmann's 1996 adaptation. ) I also just started reading R+J in school too, (But I read ahead and finished it like 2 weeks ago... ) and I loved it! And my teachers are making us read it act by act then after we finish and act we watch the act we just read watching Zeffirelli’s 1968’s adaptation of Romeo and Juliet and Luhrmann's 1996 adaptation and compare the two movies. So I have been analyzing R+J a lot for the past month and a half... And so far me the 2013 adaptation really captures the original play and stays more true to it and in general is just plays out the way I imagined it in my head, but the actors in 1968 adaptation portray their characters really amazing too. Also I'm super sorry for fangirl out on your page! I just got really excited when I saw this cause you're my favorite youtuber and I wanted to know your opinions on the movies and the play and how you enjoyed it. Also you look a lot like Claire Danes as Juliet from Luhrmann's 1996 adaptation! Which is super awesome! Hope your having a great day! Also I'm going to Canada this summer. I'm visiting Vancouver and Victoria. So I was wondering if you had any good sight seeing recommendations or must go visit places or eat at? Again I'm sorry if you're not from that part of Canada and I'm offending you with my lack of Canadian geographical knowledge.
