Hi guys today, i'm going to show you how to do this: wavy half up half down hairstyle to start we're going to put a loose wave in the hair, and i'm going to do this by taking about one inch sections and wrapping them around a curling tong. I'M making sure that as i wrap it around, i'm not holding it flat, so i'm just letting it twist around naturally hold it for about 10 seconds and then release that wave now taking the same size section right next door to it. We'Re going to do the same thing, but this way time i'm going to curl it in the opposite direction. So twist wrap it around that curling tong hold it for 10 seconds and then pull it off the tongue and we're going to continue until all of the hair is curled. So work your way up, the hair in small slices until everything is curled. Now i'm going to divide off the crown area and i'm just going to use my fingers to gently brush this to the back of the head, then secure it at the back of the head with a clear elastic band. Next, take some texture spray i'll pop the one i'm using in the description below spray it across that crown area, and then gently use your fingers to pinch and pull at the hair until you get your desired messiness. Now we're going to take a little small slice of hair right next to that section, we've just tied off, but we're going to make sure we leave some hair out to frame the face and then just clip this out of the way for later, and then repeat This on the opposite side, so take a small slice of hair as close to that tied back section as possible and clip this out of the way. Now i've bought a cheap hair vine. I got this one on amazon and i'll pop it pop it. In the description below for you and we're just going to hold the hair vine to the head to measure how long we want it, so we want it going from that ponytail to about just above the ear and then just cut it off and bend the end Down so you're making a little hook, and you want to do this twice. Okay, so starting on that left hand, side release the section down and twist it towards the head. A couple of times put that little hook in that twist and pinch it together and then all we're going to do is wrap that vine and the hair around one another towards the head. Bring this over the little ponytail to the right hand, side slightly and secure it with a bobby pin. Add some more of your texture spray along that twist and then gently pinch and pull that twist for a bit more volume. And i'm just going to slip a couple of bobby pins down the length of that twist just to keep it secure to the head. And then we're just going to simply repeat this: on the right hand, side so twist, your section a couple of times towards the head, attach your vine and then twist, both of them together towards the back of the head. Now we're going to lay this on the left hand, side of the elastic band, just under the previous twist and secure it with a bobby pin, apply your texture spray again and gently pinch and pull that twist apart, don't forget to slip your bobby pin through the Twist to keep it nice and secure, i'm just raking my fingers through those waves just to soften up the look, and it really is that easy. Here'S the finished! Look if you liked it, please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe for more tutorials. You
