Good afternoon guys and welcome back to another video here in India, specifically in Kochi and in today's video guys, we're actually gon na be cruising over to what's said to be one of the best barber shops in Kochi and, what's said, is basically based off of the Amount of reviews that I found this place called chop shop, barber and brand Kochi has a 4.8 rating out of 366 ratings.. So I was like you know it's time to go ahead and try out one of the luxury barber shops here I like to test them out, see their different procedures. Whenever I go to different cities and countries all over the world to see who can give me the best possible haircut., So we're gon na be cruising over there right now. I think they're gon na give us like a full treatment package. I don't know what it is, but it's gon na be something like yeah, the haircut the beard trim, because it's getting kinda long as you can see, and then also we're going to get some sort of like head massage out of it so yeah. It should be a pretty fun time. Oh, we got some traffic coming in, as you can hear behind me, people are in a hurry it's about Thursday afternoon, so everyone's getting themselves ready for the weekend in about 36 hours and commotion is on., So full speed ahead. We are going to be heading over here.. We'Ve got our man, Akhil he's going to be driving us over. Thank you, Akhil. You're from Kerala Yeah, it's very- very nice city, good people, here. And so yeah guys we're heading over there, probably maybe a 10-minute drive or so away and well, let's say without the traffic look at the current traffic and yeah. Once we get there, we'll give you a tour of the barbershop you'll come with us for the haircut and so let's head on into it. I don't actually know what the cost is. I didn't ask in advance but I’ll share all that with you once we get over there. So let's do it.. Alright, that's the chop shop right there, oh yeah! That'S got ta, be at second floor then., Perfect! Show you how I like my hair, see. Guys. I always bring a photo with me. So this is one of my favorite haircuts. I ever got so you got the fade all the way up. Yeah, but they, I actually recently had a barber that when I was in Sri Lanka that used the blade all the way up to here, like the okay, the one you used to shave here, okay And that gave it a nice look and then faded up and then just a trim up top there. Okay and that'll do the trick perfectly yeah, alright. And shaving full clean shave., Full clean, shave., Yeah yeah okay. By razor By razor yeah, perfect yeah., See guys we're gon na be all cleaned up. There. that's gon na be great. Our man's gon na take care of us. This is beginning now we're gon na have a full-on transformation here, guys I’m excited for this. I really like the layout to this place. Got a lot of thought and design into this entire place. Here we got photos of various, I wan na, say actors and from all over from many different movies that I recognize here. You got the bronx vibe here with the brick walls here very much your gentlemen style, barbershop good, feel to it, and you know it's the gentleman's barber shop when they've got the Jack Daniels spray bottle over there.. Thank you, my friend, oh very comfortable.. Thank you. So much.! Well, that's great! It'S probably been about two and a half weeks. I got a haircut growing much faster than I thought and honestly getting a haircut right now is going to be quite nice, because it's very hot here in Kochi and so to have the head cool down a couple. Degrees would be quite nice if I can say so myself. Would you look at this guys we just spun around and get the hair washed right here at the seat. So that's pretty awesome.! Oh yeah.. Are you comfortable Very comfortable. Thank you., So you like warm water. Oh yeah Warm's good., Thank you so much. Yeah thank you., So guys I’ve never seen a barber chair like this. That converts literally you see that over there. That'S amazing so we're starting off a little hair washing.. So I got the gel in there.. Oh perfect, yeah. Thank you. Guys it's already starting off very nicely here, got the shampoo cleaning out the entire scalp of the dirtiness of walking around this morning. Good smelling, shampoo, too., Oh very nice, all cleaned up there, guys. Haircut, we'll be coming up. Next. Thank you., As you guys can see. This is the longest my hair has been in quite some time., So that'll be nice to get it cleaned up even on the sides too thank you. And there we go we're starting out with a nice fade line there. It'S a good height. I love seeing the fade line at first, because then it's like the initial initial design of how the fade's gon na turn out.. As you guys can see, we've got our lines. All the way across goes all the way around. As soon as he pulls all that off the head's gon na cool down a few degrees. In this video guys, I’ve done a lot of haircut videos I’m going to talk slightly less than I normally do and show more since some of the feedback's been like that.. Oh yeah fades coming in very nicely. You guys drop a comment below at the end of this video. My usual videos, I do a lot more commentary, as I was saying kind of through the process like this is level one two three four the fades, but in this one I’ll show show the process a bit more and if you guys like that- that way better, Then I’ll take whatever the most popular opinion is and continue that way. We found the fade lines and we're starting to get the layering up top first before we take down the lower side burns, which is a unique way of doing it, I’m intrigued by it quite a bit., And so this is your shop, my friend., No I’m just Managing. I, like, like the layout of the barber shop kind of got your New York, feel to it. You know., So that's great., Yeah, the Bronx yeah yeah. Yeah, it's very nice and you said one more time. How many years have you guys had this place? One and a half years so very new., Just the reviews, yeah. Wow yeah, the reviews are great. So that's how I came across the place.. That'S amazing and actually guys you can probably see behind me on the other wall - that's Manhattan. So I guess each barber station is set up as a different district inside of new York. That'S what I’m guessing.! Alright, the fade's coming along nicely., Alright, guys we're getting the shaving cream loaded up all around those areas gon na make for a nice clean shave.! So that'll be the unique way to get the shave so I’m ready for that. I always like trying out the new procedures or not new, but procedures from specific barber shops all around the world see how they do things. It'S very interesting.. Here we go we're getting the fresh razor on there. Popped right, in., Oh yeah, that's as fresh as as sharp as it gets for the perfected shape.. Oh yeah, that's a good feeling right to the skin., Oh yeah that looks fantastic. Such a nice feeling it just basically glides right off the super sharp razor. Just it's all gone., Oh yeah., Feeling nice and fresh there love that feeling, no more hair. The nice part is when you use the razor there, it actually stays fresher for a longer period of time. That'S why, when I had it done the first time, maybe I think that was in Colombo when I got that one done in Sri Lanka and it lasted like two three days extra longer like longer when it stayed fresh like that.. So I was like I got to keep this up as a trend.. Oh, that's! Nice got like a lemony fruity loop type of smell to it very nice, get all the shaving cream. Off.. Oh yeah looks great Perfected. Baby soft., Oh yeah., Very nice. Good fade right into it., Oh yeah., Perfected perfected yeah. That looks fantastic.. Oh yeah, yep. Love it.. Thank you so much and it feels fantastic too nothing better than that feeling.. So you guys are getting a lot of blending in the final blending. Basically connecting the skin fade to the top. There come along quite nicely very detailed. I don't think there'll be a single hair that was missed.. Is it possible to turn the music down just a little bit. Yeah. Thank you. If it plays too loud in the background, then it won't work on YouTube. Yeah, no problem, no problem.! I love the music. I wish it. I wish YouTube didn't do that, but yeah the music. In the background guys it's really nice. It'S New York, music. It fits the vibe, but you guys know after you've seen all my videos there's a couple times. I’Ve had to take videos down because the music, in the background is picked up by YouTube’s algorithm. We're, starting with the scissors now favorite sound to hear.. As you can see, it really requires a lot of precision with basically the blend from the fade. All the way up to the top of the head, where the hair is much longer and the style he's got basically moves the comb, while the thinning, shears kind of just continuously move up. Too. Gives it a really nice texture too, because I have very thick hair. So when it gets thinned out, it actually is much better, especially in this humidity.. Oh, you can see the head shapes coming along much nicer. Now. There we go., Oh yeah., Looks perfect. Fantastic., Oh yeah., Very, very nice., Perfect. Love it.! Thank you! Yeah, but it's much hotter here. The weather, hotter. Hotter. The weather temperature is higher temperature. Yeah. It is very hot. Yeah, very hot yeah.. Alright guys, as you can see, we're gon na be starting out with the top now. The top definitely needs to be trimmed down. It'S gotten quite long., The top. Let'S take off Yeah I’d say like maybe like that., Maybe half inch. Yeah half inch. I think it'll be good. I trust you. Guys. You know when it's getting long, because I have this little like curl right there on my colic. That just starts to like twist sideways and I feel like my hairline's actually starting to recede. I think it's because I’ve been over the last like two years: I’ve, worn hats, a lot more often., Basically I’ve been traveling for the last two and a half years non-stop, but I’ve been wearing a hat for a lot of it. Some sources say wearing a hat. Doesn'T make your hairline -- Doesn't cause hair loss, but I’ve read some sources that do say it so comment below. If you have any factual information on that., Because to be honest with you, my hairline on my head keeps getting further and further every couple months.. So is back there more haircut spots back. One thing I’ve learned with haircuts is like a lot of times. You might look out just like a little bit taken off. It'S actually surprising how much a little bit is, because when I was younger, I used to like see the barber, maybe take a little bit off and I’d be like.. Alright, let's do a little bit more and then after I’d always regret it.. So I learned my lesson when I was young. I might as well just do a small little bit and usually that little bit is enough to make a proper difference, because I feel, like the sides of my hair, grow much much faster than the top, but that just could be purely me. Making that up.. Oh yeah, that's the best part to cut that's where I have the colic right up. There. Oh yeah., That is looking fantastic.. That brush is a nice tickle to the face. There had a couple hairs that were tickling my cheeks and much better. Very detailed.. Alright, you guys can see the way my hair's shaping much easier right now thinned out a bit and makes it handle this weather a little bit more like I was telling you before. The humidity really makes it puffy and now it's now it's able to be a little flatter, which is quite nice. Yeah. It looks fantastic. Perfect. Thank you so much. That is perfected.. Guys next step is going to be the head massage and then shave I’m excited for this. Nothing like a good head massage, especially after getting all the hair removed off my head. It'S gon na be directly on the scalp., So guys the options we have coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil. Oh Alright, I think I’m gon na go with almond. Yeah. That'S the best yeah. Yeah perfect, we'll do almond! Then thank you.. Alright we're getting the almond oil in there to start out., That's great! This is fancy.. It'S very nice. Got the temple massage going right, now.! Oh, that was very nice teleport into a state of full relaxation, guys all through the muscles in the head. Very very good. Almost fell asleep there I was in such a relaxation mode, A nice part. It goes like all in your temples and everything like. Oh, if you had any sort of headache before that it'll be cured after that.. Oh there we go got a little back head massager. There there we go and we're turning this way, Alright, full relaxation mode, my friends., Very nice., Anything's good. You can do anything and it probably won't hurt me. Vibrating the whole brain right, now., Oh yeah, that was nice, feel the vibrations in my brain there. In a good way., That'll wake you up., That is fantastic.. Now it is warm clothes time.. Oh yeah., Just warming up the scalp.. Oh there we go. We got the white cap on now.. Oh, the shower cap is sweet, Full clean, shave., Full, clean shave.. Alright, it's shave, time now perfect, Perfect., Say bye to the beard guys. It's about to be gone., Oh yeah.! This is a steamer.. Just got the face cleaned here and the steamer is gon na, be starting any second now. We're getting the charcoal facial scrub on that'll. Be nice clean out the pores, oh and right, then the steam is starting guys, as you can see right there. As you guys can see. The statement process basically opens up the pores and then the scrub together when the pores are being opened up. You can get a deeper cleanse and also probably make a a cleaner shave too, because if the pores are opened up, the hair follicles will stick out a little bit more.. Oh, that was very nice.. Let'S be sure., Oh yeah, guys getting the face, all ready for beard. Shave is coming soon just feel that steam going inside the body. Got the shaving cream going on now. Now that the pores are wide open from that steam., As you can see, starting to look like Santa Claus here with a thick layer of shaving cream. Alright, here we go the best part guys the shave., As you guys, can see nice fresh, clean shave. My face feels totally revitalized right now, after getting the steam pores are open, heads really relaxed. It'S a really good order of events on how they do it. You know the hair could first get the head cleaned up. Then you get the head massage. Then you get the pores opened, we just finished off with a cold towel guys, and that was really nice. Just woke me up again perfect way to get back at it and re, and it closes up the pores again too so ah feels great. Guys I’ll. Show you a quick sneak peek. We only have like one minute left on the memory card, but we're doing some moisturizing cream after the entire process. Here. One minute left of recording, but we just got a full shoulder and arm massage, and that was really really nice. Oh it, like literally like relaxed all the muscles, especially holding up this camera for the last two hours. It like just relieves all that pressure in the hands very nice very relaxing.. Here we go guys the last hair wash get all the extra hair out of there.. Ah and towel dried.
