$60 Exotic Omani Haircut

Good afternoon, my friends and welcome back to another video here in Oman, as you can probably tell by my face and by the title of this video, it is time to get a haircut here in Oman and see what they can offer. So I actually looked up the uh most highly rated. It doesn't necessarily mean it's the most expensive, but I'm assuming this is best in terms of customer rating barber shop. So I looked through a bunch - and this was one that I came across - called the Hickman barber shop and spa for men. So it's about 13 minutes away and it seems like it's open all day, so we're over here, basically right near Cornish, mutra and we're going to be cruising over into basically like downtown Muscat. I think - and that's where we're gon na find a very nice barber shop. So, let's head over there and get this fresh cut and beard trim done [ __ ]! Oh, we got Habibti over here coming along for the ride, hello, oh [, __ ], all right! We'Re cruising this way and look at that McDonald's. We'Ve got a nice beautiful drive through Oman on our way there and for anyone, that's wondering we've actually, I think, got a fire truck in front of us and now you can know the emergency number, which is quad nines. Four nines wait right through the mountains. The pitcher has to drive on our way to go, get a haircut, we're doing a nice close-up of the local fire truck fire truck civil defense and yeah the nice part. On our way there we get to see the Opera House very, very gorgeous, building right here. I guess the best time to see it is probably at night from what I've been told. The Royal Opera House Muscat, two minutes away guys and look at this mosque right here, stunning driving in I'm guessing we're going to be going to a pretty expensive haircut place, which is based on the area. Okay, when you find the highest rated, sometimes you got ta pay exactly what you're getting for. Oh and we have arrived the parking spot all right. We have a ride and we have arrived to the hikmat barber shop and Spa. So it's time to get ourselves a fresh haircut here, it's her first time coming with me for a haircut hello, uh! Yes, yes, 3:30.! Okay! Okay, perfect! Oh perfect! Okay! Thank you! Oh yeah! Thank you very much yeah! Thank you! It smells delicious in here. Well, it's beautiful best hairstyle for your face. Oh this is really interesting. I'Ve actually never seen this oval shaped Square. Oblong, oblong, remember triangular round face diamond heart face shape. What are my heart shape? I feel like I'm, probably like a square. What do you think, Maybe square or round, not round from all those minutas? Probably so, we've got a bunch of different uh here like cards, I'm thinking yeah, usually, let's see so round and square, and these are pretty similar to like the haircuts. I'Ve gotten. On the other side, my love foreign, so uh, today, English, only Arabic, well we'll try and speak Arabic. I want similar to um. I'Ve got an example: ah, okay, foreign who's from uh Tunisia and we're actually at the best barber in all of Oman and like I said, I found it on Google, because the reviews were all five stars and uh yeah. I was like you know what need to go ahead and test it out and then, as soon as I walked in, I actually wasn't filming, but the other guy had mentioned that this is the best barber shop so that validated it we're overdue. For a haircut perfect, we're starting out with the skin, fade right. There, nice High skin, fade here. Oh yeah, you guys can see how long my hair's actually gotten since the last time. I got a haircut, oh yeah, so basically uh. This style here is he's taken off the first layer all the way, so I think we're probably at either a zero or a one, roughly blade guard and it's a really enjoyable part, because you can just see such a large amount of hair coming off and it'll. Be nice when I'm outside, because it'll feel that much cooler, oh yeah, you can just feel all that hair coming off here. First, that is a good feeling. My head is already feeling lighter. Oh yeah. I can see that coming right off the best feeling right there guys take my screen now. This is Hikman himself. How are you brother, nice to meet you nice to meet you too and uh Palestine? Palestinian, ah very nice, Jordanian passport? Okay, very nice! Ah, I was born in Kuwait. I'M excited I looked up on Google, the best barber shop in Oman and I've looked through like 30 different places, and this had the most five star reviews. So I said yala yeah. Thank you so much. So you guys, you can see the progress of the Arabic it's coming along, pretty well slowly, but surely and as you can see, we've got a nice high fade there coming in that's going to be great. It'S going to cool off the head, um, Tunisia, yeah! So, do you speak Arabic? No, no, oh yeah Norman does Norman is foreign. Oh yeah, look at that. That is feeling good. Oh perfect! Look at that guys. You can see the nice line right along there, fantastic, the next section. Oh yeah, we've got the manicure pedicure. Maybe even today, how much time is the manicure pedicure? Maybe today possibly yeah, depending if uh yeah that'd be great? Yes, here we go um so now we're working on that next layer of fade. Basically, we're gon na fade the top longer hair with the nice short side cut there all right guys we're back in business. You guys you can tell it's a really high-end uh Barber Shop here, just looking around everything's clean, oh, yes, we've got one layer done two layers done. What was that right? Oh while we're here yeah, oh perfect, yeah that sounds great. All right, they're hooking us up guys they're gon na, actually give us the haircut while doing the manicure. At the same time. That'S the definition of killing two birds with one stone, efficiency there yeah it's really nice. So it's the full full grooming session. You get taken care of here. You got the fresh haircut, we're gon na get the beard trim, we're gon na get the pedicure manicure and uh we're gon na be walking out of this place. Feeling great. These are what the uh the nails look like before, and they're gon na be looking brand new after that's the one thing that I love, uh, specifically with uh grooming in the Middle East, is uh. You know, whenever you go to a barber, a nice Barber. You can always have so many more options than just a haircut. You get the full service selection and, most of the time when I travel from country to Country I try and get the uh the package, that's inclusive of everything, so you can see what a full full grooming package looks like before and after all, right so step. One we're gon na get these things uh soaked! Oh yeah! I got the cold water there. Thank you great doing both at the same time, and so these soak for like uh um 30 seconds, and then that gets them ready all right. Put that there perfect. It'S done now, first off with the uh nail clipping. How many years have you lived here right here third year and what part of the Philippines did you live in anything uh where what part of the Philippines are you from Manila? Oh, very nice, hoping to go? Maybe December my brother might be there so inshallah, I'm gon na have to learn some um Filipino words. How do I say hello, very nice yeah. I want to do a visit to a couple of those islands out there like Boracay El Nido, yeah, very nice ones. Okay, so next up, we've got the pink liquid going on here and that's gon na make it nice. Oh yeah, we're getting the cuticles is that what they're called pushed back? That is nice. Meanwhile, guys, we've got the haircut moving along nicely Norman's taking care of us. We'Re on probably the third or fourth layer to basically uh connect the longer hair up top to the skin fade. We did but two-thirds of the way up the head - and I will say Norman - is very efficient. He'S moving through uh the head very quickly, which is nice, especially if you're uh looking for the precious haircut around and you're on a shorter uh time schedule. You can kill two birds with one stone there too, and it's uh even another level that we're able to do both the uh manicure and the haircut at the same time. So what's your favorite part about Oman here here yeah, I know [ __ ] is okay. So, like this area is the best part of Oman yeah, oh yeah, all right next up, we've got the brush here. Oh it's a little ticklish, that's nice! It'S all cleaned up! Oh yeah, the amount of dirt you can find in these things. Oh very nice to the level of detail Norman's going in there to make sure it is all perfect in terms of evenness in terms of the fade line, everything to really get a nice transition from the short to the long. So the majority of the customers, uh International or Omani or yeah from other countries - very nice Norman great guys. Look at that. So you got ta. Basically, I think, do a little trim up top, but the sides are looking quite good to try and punch all the hair gel. I used this morning. Oh yeah, that's nice, the best parts of the flipping filing process. No, this is the buffer, oh, the buffer. Yeah! That'S what makes it Shine? Oh okay, this is to get the access to get here. Oh okay, the extra like uh pieces off there smooth them out a bit Yeah. They have no soft and the high oh soft enough. Okay, that makes sense. So we're finishing up that fade line with a scissor Fade to do the last level of layering there. That is nice. As I say in every Haircut, video guys, I love uh getting haircuts in different places in the world, because the uh, the method or the order in which they cut or the order in which they do some of the steps varies and uh. It'S interesting to watch each person's uh, specific, Unique Style and Norman's got a really nice one here, because, as you can see, we are making really good progress on the hand right there and now we're doing more of a uh. Is this the nail file or the nail file all right, so that's really going to take off a little bit of the layer, get it right to that desired pipe. Also. You guys have worked on uh side by side, haircuts and pedicure. At the same time, manicure a manicure manicure, I always confuse the two I mean, which day is your busiest day of the week so yeah, which day is busiest for you, the most busy day at the so much bzees, Thursday and Saturday uh Thursday and Saturday. So the weekend yeah but too much in Saturday, oh okay, Saturday yeah, makes sense guys. So if you haven't seen the other videos, Fridays and Saturdays or the weekend here in Oman same as the last series, you guys probably saw in Qatar, their weekend is also Friday and Saturday, so makes sense that uh Saturday, which is the day before the beginning of Their work week, everyone's looking to get a fresh cut, so I will recommend you guys that it's a popular place there's a reason why they have a lot of five stars so just trying to get an appointment here make one as quick as possible. I think I just got lucky because it is a what they say Monday, so it's probably a quieter day of the week where I was able to find an appointment slot one hour before arriving. Luckily, and there we go. We are great. I'M really enjoying this process got Norman, really getting the level of detail right on the edges and this fantastic, really good style of scissors. There basically uh Coleman first and then lifting it up for the uh scissors to kind of give it that effect of basically shorter to longer getting up to the top. Just how I like it, of course, probably the most enjoyable part of the haircut. I just hearing those Clippers constantly moving taking off small little Snippets of hair and they're, really just supposed to show you how much time and effort it takes to master that is basically non-stop moving the uh scissors there, while the comb is kind of moving slightly faster And yeah it's really uh a meticulous process and down here we are now on the the Shiner one yeah, oh yeah. You can see him shining from here. That is fantastic, and this is like a clear coat polish. Then to get the dryness! Oh perfect, that's fantastic! It'S kind of like a finger massage to get it in there and you have free Handler stamps. Oh very nice magic here they have free uh handles. Oh, that's amazing, and this is amazing, the full full process. Oh yes, oh, that is nice. That is fantastic, especially after holding this camera all day, guys it's uh. It relieves the uh the hand, the pressure not only for manicure. I will give you a free massage. Oh thank you. So much is very, very nice. I feel deep in the uh in the tissue. That'S fantastic hand feels clean and relieved at the same time and then up here we're getting the very top up to the desired height. That'S one hand done: oh fantastic, my friends. Look at that nails are shining hand. Is feeling great honestly, the blood is circulating very nice after the hand, massage and and the nails are looking clean, feeling clean. That is nice. Now we're moving on to the next hand over here, but we've got the top here. Oh, that's a great length up top near Norman Zane uh is in length great, so he's doing the final check to make sure that all the hair is even, and it's looking really really even at my exact desired length. That is impressive. I just showed in the photo - and he is literally replicated and even better version of the haircut - that I showed a photo of him too and guys - that's always a tip for you if you're traveling around the world - and you have a very specific haircut - you like To get when you get one, you like somewhere, take a photo from all angles and you don't even need to speak the local language in order to just show someone a photo and say make it similar. I usually do that and usually in every place I go. I get a slight variation in their own style, which I I do prefer. I know that right there is the product. We'Ve got these uh Nails, trimmed step number one done and step number two is we are going to be working on see if I got the process in order now cuticles next, oh yeah, looking good Zane haircut, you know guys since I got here an hour ago, 30 minutes ago, everyone that walks out has a pretty big smile on their face, so it just shows the level of excitement. After getting that fresh haircut right, there basically pushes the uh the skin that grows a little bit back right to where it belongs, keeps them out long and fresh. Looking here we go the last parts to connect it up top two right here, there's so much skin. That'S caught and pull over right out of there meticulous process together, yeah, here the same, we have more Kitty cows. I got one of these like uh three weeks ago. They grow pretty fast yeah. That'S it bro, hey, hey! That'S me yeah, oh yeah! We got them. We got another video, that's uh. Where was that at is that in Qatar, yeah yeah, I think so, is that uh, oh yeah. That'S on the way to the dinner. Already I make subscribers. Oh yeah, very Zayn, Zayn haircut yeah we're in process to a nice naiman. Oh yeah, look at that my friends, fantastic, we're getting off all the loose hairs here. Now there, my man, Norman from uh, Tunisia, he's got the detail-oriented uh shave style right here. That'S gon na be nice and fresh. It'S one of the best parts of this a few of the uh. The shine come out of the squeak shine. So it's like what six steps then to do the total, manicure. Sorry, six different steps. Yeah yeah, really nice, see that shine from here. Oh yeah, back to the best part yeah hand massage. On the left hand, oh that's great. Thank you so much they look fantastic! Oh perfect. I really appreciate it. Look at this method right up top. Basically, uh takes off any hairs up top utilizing the comb and the razor that is fascinating. I'Ve never seen that oh yeah perfectly faded. Oh yeah, Zane, oh yeah! So next up we're going to be doing the um the shade. Now, all right here we go shave time. I grew it out for about three days roughly, so that way we'll be able to see a proper difference between the uh. Before and after shave, it's like a silver colored, shaving cream. It'S got a very good scent to it as well: nice, thorough distribution there, oh you're, looking like Santa Claus here now, Norma did a nice job. It'S really like uh uh needing all of the shaving cream into the skin. So that way, when the razor runs over, it it'll be thoroughly spread in there pull the hair off a bit easier being shaving that is all nice and clean the whole. That'S nice, very, quick and efficient sounds fine, very good, hmm, So Fresh, So Clean. I feel that baby smooth skin - I don't know it's cold, gel, going on. No, it's noise smell like a diamond. Those hairs didn't stand a chance, hey babe, oh yeah, welcome to a fresh shave they're only this fresh, the second after you get them smoother than my skin. That'S because it's right down to it! Wow and now we're gon na get some alcohol on it to get a nice burn going. Oh, oh here we go we're kind of concoction. We got going on over here, Norman's, making something Zane yeah I've never seen a men's uh Salon visit. Have you and it's pretty nice? Isn'T it it's my second time some sort of paste, not sure what it's going to do, but I bet it's going to be something good here. We go. Oh it's like a black paste here and it's cooling down a bit. Oh! Oh we're doing a face, wax wow look at this. This is next level face West. That means we're literally gon na have absolutely no hair on this face after huh. I did not expect this. Oh yeah, that is nice, oh nice and hot, oh yeah. I know he's hot come on it's starting to uh dry out. Oh, oh, that is nice yeah! That'S gon na get all the peach fuzz right out there anything that the shave didn't get. I wonder if this is gon na pull out all the pores. You know, like all the things in your pores - oh that's awesome! Oh there we go. The other side of the face is starting to warm up nicely out of here. My face wasn't shining before it's going to be shining 10x after this one, oh yeah, oh yeah, right on the nose is the best feel it's sticking to all those pores. I think the other side's nice and hard. It looks like it on the side. It'S just about the beginning: it's drying process. Oh we're doing the oh yeah, oh yeah, because we're loaded up with wax oh and we're doing the ears too. There we go. Norbit is hooking it up and talking like I got my my ears pulling my love. Oh yeah, look at that. It looks completely covered together. Oh yeah, hello, my friends! This is what we call an a body haircut. I feel like I'm a wax museum right now. Yes, yes, indeed, if you're picturing a film it when he's pulling it off, oh yeah, look at that! Look at that! It popped up. Oh wow holy! Look at all that on there there was a lot of hair that was removed completely, so you never! Oh and the ear - oh, oh, it hurts so good and whoa. Look at that all right! It'S peach fuzz all over! It looks just like my ear and we're doing ear next year, yeah, oh yeah, and you can see all the peach fuzz on there not anymore. Not anymore, are you ready, babe, and here the final? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh wow, wow, and look at all that peach fuzz on there that has been removed. What does that feel like? Well, it's like nice and hard part of my face now lives on this wax katir Zane Norman wow. Oh my gosh. We'Ve got a little piece right there powder, that's not good stuff yeah! I don't get it! Oh wow! The face is going through many stages of cleanliness. Right now. Oh, oh, this one! This one hurts here a little bit. This is called uh kneading or whatever it's called oh yeah. That gets the eyebrows. Oh, this is always fascinated me how they do that. Oh um! Basically, just grips onto the hair and rips them right out such an interesting process to wash those whoa it's one of those like Hurts, So Good type of feelings. All right say: oh yeah, I'm feeling clean and I'm like whoa guys. You can see after that. Just a little bit of redness on the face from pulling those off now we got to do a little uh shampoo over here, the entire grooming process. Here, oh that's, a great feeling, no literally absolutely no hair on my face, let's hope we're gon na shampoo, the hair out get it all cleaned up, got a nice hot water on there. First rinse it off some of the excess hairs kind of getting some shampoo in there and that nice cold water cooling off the head, the son of the Saudi Ambassador nice to meet you yeah, very good news: oh nice, okay and my brother. He graduated from Penn State, okay, yeah yeah. As an engineer, that's awesome, yeah yeah, and so you live in Oman now yeah, I'm studying my last year here. Yeah thanks. Thanks appreciate it. You know it's a great haircut when your entire face can breathe and head can breathe after a little styling gel in there a bit of forms. No, this, oh, this is wax yeah. I wish this one is. This is the first one yeah? Okay? Is this an Armani brand or I've never seen it? Oh very nice: okay, uh Turkish brand yeah, oh very nice, kilozan, oh yeah! This would be nice, nice, oh yeah, it's a nice little burn there. Oh yeah, it burns so good. I stay soon. Oh yeah! That is fantastic, perfect Thomas! Oh yeah! I love it. What is that for the Hydra facial hydrofacial, oh wow, that looks nice and then also we've got the uh pedicure station right here. So I'm gon na get these shoes off guys, oh really comfortable chair and we are getting the pants rolled up. Oh yeah, oh yeah, she's, jealous she's wishing she had a day like this he's a Filipino also yeah he's living the good life all right. I'M out here all right and we're pulling them out of the water there. Oh just one. Oh two yeah we're getting these things dried off now, um! Oh yeah! Oh the thing! Just pops right up like that. We are in heaven a little bit. That'S nice, though! It'S basically uh taking off the uh layer of skin cells right there, oh dry skin, yeah, dry, skin right around the uh, the spots where you get the most dry skin, the heel, oh yeah, yeah after after you have it on your foot for a few seconds. Then you start to get used to it, but first it's kind of a ticklish feeling: oh yeah, oh okay, yeah! You can see a very uh light layer of skin coming off there. Oh wow, that's a nice feeling on the foot. It'S like a very fine-grained sandpaper. It feels like all right and we're doing the other foot. Now. Oh wow yeah yeah, you can see there's just a white layer of skin everywhere. I didn't realize how much dead skin I had the only other time I got a uh, oh yeah, on the left side more than the right wow, especially on this heel. You can tell those things were overdue. Probably from when I was in Bali. I didn't wear shoes for a month, yeah yeah video six months ago, that I was in Bali but uh. I didn't wear shoes for one month and I made my feet nice and hard. So it's probably a lot of dead skin cows over and then next we do a uh. It'S a light, wash basically get all that extra skin. That was just shaved off pulled off next up. We'Ve got the scrub here, it's kind of like a strawberry in color, with some exfoliation, maybe sand in there yeah. Oh, that's nice, a bit ticklish on the feet. You can feel that there's a little less skin on the feet. Now that they've been uh end up a bit: oh there we go now we are rinsing them getting that uh, strawberry, colored, cream and exfoliation off in warm water got the feet, pulled out drying them off. Now: okay, relax, oh yeah, that's great! Having this chair! I could fall asleep all right now we're starting the uh food process, how we did um the fingernails. We were trimming them first, give them at a more desired length and now we're moving on with the uh cuticles on the toes here, which is basically that same tool, we're using up on the hands that digs down and pushes the skin that's starting to grow back And down towards the uh, oh yeah they're already looking clean, I'm feeling clean. So we have also here uh Moroccan bath too. What'S a Moroccan bath, someone oh soon yeah and what does that mean like uh salts and things Moroccan bath like uh by describe a body scrub? Oh that's! Really! Nice whole body will be feeling clean after that yeah, oh yeah. Last but not least, the foot massage another deep tissue right in there - that's nice wow that was nice. Oh yeah we're leaving all the pressure after walking around all of them on okay, complete, oh thank you so much that was fantastic, so so nice looking fresh and feeling fresh feeling that was perfect yeah.
