Wayne Heyward: When I was in college, a girlfriend and her BFF decided I looked like the lead singer of HC100. I knew nothing about the band and smiled indulgently. It was years later that I found out that guy was Nick Heyward, spelled the same way my name is spelled. Knowing that our name is a rather rare spelling (we in the US have one common ancestor, and the name and family originated in a small region of England), there is no question we are cousins. Really, really, really, really distant cousins. So I guess that family resemblance held enough over the many, many generations for that old girlfriend to recognize we're family.
