I have watched, show so many videos listing off these hard set rules for how a woman should wear their hair after the age of 50 and don't wear long hair, because it's not appropriate for your age.. Don'T try to be too trendy and act too young.. Don'T let it go gray., It's so aging. Honestly. Can we just not? Can we just not do that anymore Hi If you're new here my name is Gabi and I've been an industry makeup and hair stylist for 17 years working with thousands of women of all different ages and backgrounds.? I'Ve always seen hair and makeup as a decorative art form and an amazing form of self-expression.. Just like there are no rules on how you should decorate your Christmas tree or how you should decorate your house.. You do whatever the heck makes. You feel happy and whatever you think looks good.. There are no set rules on how you should decorate yourself.. Let'S say it again, and there are no set rules on how you should decorate yourself.. You should wear your hair in a way that feels right for you. And if you feel like a certain style, looks great on you and you feel beautiful, then you should keep wearing that style.. However, if you feel like you're totally stuck - and you just can't figure out what to do next or maybe what you were doing was working and now suddenly isn't, and you don't know, why. Well, I'm here to help. Today, I'm going to give you five hair cutting Style ideas that are my go-tos for helping clients feel fabulous after 50.. Let'S go Haircut Idea. 1 is the blunt bob or the blunt lob, which is just a slightly longer version of the bob.. This style is characterized by a strong unlayered baseline, hitting at the shoulder or above.. You can wear this style even all the way around without a fringe, or you can add a fringe in there or whatever fringe you want. We're going to talk more about that later.. As we age, our bodies naturally change. One of the first very noticeable physical changes that a lot of women see is their hair getting thinner because the individual hair has become thinner and the amount of hair that you have on your scalp lessens. It can result in wispy hair that can be brittle and hard to control and also hair. That just has a lot less volume in general.. If you've experienced this personally, let me know in the comments.: It's definitely something that happens often., It's very, very, very common.. So just know that you are not alone and you guys can talk about it in the comments and form a community around that, because that is something that makes a lot of people feel extraordinarily insecure.. The reason that a blunt bob works so well for women over the age of 50 and why it's probably been recommended to you before is because, when we cut everything into one line, the baseline becomes very dense looking. When the baseline looks dense. The hair in turn looks super thick., Even if it's not. Thick healthy hair is a sign of youth, so it instinctively makes people assume that you are younger.. I don't know if you've ever had this experience, where you saw someone from behind with super thick and luscious hair, and you instantly thought that they were 20 in your brain and then they turned around and they were clearly a more mature woman.. That totally happened to me when I was on vacation last week at the airport.. I was like. I really thought this girl, like 20 and she must've been like 60 or 70., And the reason for that is because thick hair makes your brain connected to youth.. So if you find that your hair is aging you, because it's looking thin, wispy and dull, consider getting a blunt bob, because that will thicken it right up and it will give you an instant facelift. If you've had long hair for your entire life though. And the Idea of going as short as a bob really scares you. Or if you have a weak, jawline or more weight around your face and neck and a bob feels unflattering to you, then haircut number two may be the perfect solution. Haircut. Number two is a mid-length cut with long layers.. This haircut, especially when done with some the face framing layers, is universally flattering, no matter what your age face, shape, hair type or even body type.. I love this haircut.. I love this haircut.. Clearly. Clearly, love it.. The length of this cut is not short enough to widen the face out, but it's also not long enough to drag the face down or make the hair look too thin for most people.. If you keep the layering light at the back and more focused at the front, depending on the hair's density, you should maintain a relatively dense baseline, but also soften the face out significantly.. As we age we lose elasticity and as a result of that, we get sagging in the neck and the jawline area and creating movement with layering. There essentially contours out the face and softens any lines that we may find unflattering on ourselves.. This is a great haircut.. It really is., It's super easy to work with, and it looks so good on everyone.. Before I get into haircut number three, I want to tell you guys that I have a friend who's, also a YouTuber and also a stylist, and her name is Summer.. I'Ve talked about her before. We've done a collab before., We're actually meeting in the States in a couple of months to do a collab with Justin Hickox.. If you're excited about that say, “So excited ” in the comment section below. Styles by Summer is her YouTube name.. She does amazing, very in-depth, cut tutorials that are phenomenal.. Sometimes I get asked the question like “How. Do I tell my stylist what I want ” Go over to Styles By Summer., I'm going to leave a link to her actual YouTube page in my description box and in my pinned comment., You can go and find a cut that you love by her.. You can watch a very detailed tutorial and you can even send it to your hairstylist. As a hair, stylist myself. If someone did this for me, because I know a lot of people are like “Is, that going to offend the stylist ”. If someone sent me something like that and said, “I want this cut that Summer did in her YouTube channel ”. I would actually find it incredibly helpful because it would allow me to know exactly what my placement is for the layering and the face framing and all of that stuff.. Maybe all they really need, is to really visually see what she's doing.. That'S always very helpful for visual people like us., Hair and makeup people We're very visual people.. So I just wanted to address that, because that question comes up time and time again in the comments.. That'S how I would go around doing that. Haircut. Number 3 is adding a fringe to any haircut that you personally love whether that is a short cut or a long cut. What a fringe does to a face is, it makes it look smaller and it camouflages lines on the forehead and softens out any fine lines around the eyes. If and only if cut properly., Let's just emphasize that for a minute., The fringe needs to be cut properly.. There are so many variations of fringes that you can play with. You can make them airy and mostly see through.. You can side sweep them and keep them denser.. You can have them, come forward more or really open up.. If you do a curtain fringe like this, where opens up at the middle and gets longer like significantly longer at the ends on the sides, you can pretty much hide all of the crow's feet at the side of the eyes.. What I do not recommend, though, and why I emphasize that it needs to be cut well, is that if your fringe is too square and blunt or too short, it may be unflattering. Bangs that are strong, blunt and short draw a ton of attention right, here., And These type of bangs acts as arrows pointing right at the eyes., And it can really accentuate any of the lines or puffiness in that area.. That naturally happens as we get older on many many women.. Of course, if this doesn't bother you and you like this style on your face again go for it., But I know that most of my clients over the age of 50 prefer a softer cut when it comes to anything., Framing the eyes or even framing the face. Softness really diffuses fine lines and wrinkles and darkness and puffiness. Strong lines bring arrows.. So if there's something on your face, that's making you a bit insecure make sure that all of the lines in that area are diffused and point cut and softly blended. That will really take a lot of that attention away from those areas that maybe you're not feeling ten out of ten about. Haircut. Number four is the Bixie.. I'Ve talked about this haircut. A lot in my recent videos.. Are you sick of it? Yet If you're a regular you're, probably like “Yeah, we get it.” “We get it.”. The reason that I talk about it. A lot is because it's trending right now and I'm absolutely obsessed with it.. This cut is so quick to blow dry for those who have any mobility issues and with the use of some pomades and waxes, you can make it like really super playful.. You can create so much texture., It's very, very easy to style, and it's quick to style.. You can go a little longer with this and rock it as a short shag style, which is also very trendy.. You can undercut one side and have it longer on top for something a little bit edgier. Or you can keep the front super long with a nice cropped. Back. The possibilities with this cut really are endless and you can ask your hairdresser to tailor it to suit your individual style and your face shape.. I love love, love how chic and trendy this is.. Do you guys like this one? Let me know. What do you think about this? One Haircut number 5 is a bit of a cheat because it isn't really a haircut, but it's something that I'm dying to tell you.. So I wanted to include it here.. My next tip for looking gorgeous after 50 is finally embracing your natural hair's texture.. I am 36 years old.. I turn 37 next month and I spent all of my life fighting my wavy hair.. It is only in the last two years that I even discovered how wavy my hair actually is, and I only discovered it because of a video that I was making for this channel. Literally This video. I made this video for this channel and I was like “Whoa. I have really wavy hair.”, And now I wear it with this natural texture, all the time.. When I wear my hair, like this, I've been told that I look significantly younger and I would definitely agree with that.. I think the reason for this is because natural texture gives like an effortless vibe, that just screams youth., No matter cut, you have or choose to get. You know in the future, push yourself to learn how to style that cut in a way that lets your natural texture shine through. Once in a while., You may be shocked to find out what you discover in the process.. You may really really learn to love that natural hair and you don't have to do it all the time.. It'S just another. Look in your tool belt of looks that you can enjoy throughout your life.. I just did two make up videos on tips that will make you look younger after 50, one with makeup, do's and don'ts, and one with drugstore products only.. So if you like this one, you may find that video super helpful to watch next., That’s it Video’s over

Glam Girl Gabi: Thanks for watching my hair besties! I truly appreciate each and every one of you that support me and allow me to create these videos for you. I am living my best life. :) If you want to check out my friend Summer's channel, this is the link to it: https://www.youtube.com/@StylesBySummer I also recommend that you check out Justin Hickox because he does A LOT of "youthful" cut videos that are excellent: https://www.youtube.com/@justinhickox Let them know I sent you! If you are excited for our in-person collab in April, comment "SO EXCITED!"

Paula Thornton: I’m 71 years old with some health issues, but my hair has become very thin (and lost a lot). I see all the vitamins, lotions and potions, but skeptical about which ones truly work and are effective. If you have some advice…be so grateful! Can’t wait to see your collaboration coming up, Gabi!! Thanks for all your great videos that are extremely helpful..you are so sweet!

Lyne Greenough: I've always had thin hair. The best hair I ever had was when I was pregnant, of course. Then, it started falling out like it was an Olympic sport. I've always kept my hair longer, but I started noticing that it was getting really unhealthy and tangled at the bottom. I started doing a lot of intensive conditioning at the bottom and it helped, but it wasn't looking like it used to. Now, I'm 50 and at the end of the summer, I decided on a blunt bob - a fairly short one (for me). For the first time in ever, I actually got a compliment on my hair a couple of months ago! For me, this hairstyle works. I miss the long hair, and will grow it a smidgen longer for the summer cause I like it up and off my neck in the heat, but I think I'll keep coming back to a shorter length in a blunt cut. It has just made my hair look way thicker and better overall.

Maria Soares: Gabi, it is an amazing video. I am 62 years old and really make me feel amazing to know what can I do! Thanks again!

Antonia Rebelo: Gabi, you have inspired me try and style my naturally wavy hair. I too have been fighting it for years - years of flat ironing it ( because I have way too much volume) and trying to find tools to give me those waves - why not see how it would look by just diffusing it. I will do it! Thank you for this helpful and informative video - appreciate you

Styles By Summer: I can't wait to get to see you in person!!! So excited!

Oelfah Rautenbach: There are no set rules on how to decorate yourself! I ended up say that out loud with you Gabi. I am beyond excited for your collaboration with Summer!

Dolores Sanchez: So excited! It’s going to be an amazing treat, Gabi, Justin & Summer together. You are all the best!

Ric Calendar: Thanks Gabi, really enjoyed this video. Love the statement "Hair is a decorative art form". Wish I had that framed when I had my salon in California! I am embracing my texture in a new way as I age, and have been silver gray since I was 51, 20 Years ago. Thanks for your uplifting and informative videos!Roberta

Karen Hecht: Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I’ve commented before a few times about how I love that you are talking to women in their “wiser” years. I’m 76, soon to be 77 & my hair is all the the things you mentioned. Fine, thin, & just a little wavy. It is next to impossible to get a good cut from stylists. I’m going to take your advice & send one of Summer’s videos. Love that you’re all doing a collaboration!!! ❤

Diane Morgan: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’ve been wearing a blunt bob forever and have been happy with it. People keep trying to convince me to add layers. Due to this pressure to look “up to date” I was on the verge of giving in. Thanks to you, this 71 yr old is going to keep my bob. And now I’m watching the next option with the face framing layers and realize that those layers could camouflage my jawline. Still watching. Still thinking. You are the best.

A A: I discovered my hair was thinning out when my kids kept telling me they were finding hair in their food. Great tips in your video as always!❤

Wendy Williams: Yes! Thank you for the "Do whatever makes you happy, there are no set rules!"

providence phelps: I love you Gabi! I’ll be 54 next month. My hair is longer than my bra strap. I love having longer hair. I have no layers (thanks to you). It’s blunt or “one line” as you have suggested. You’re the best!! ❤

Judy Radford: So excited! Love the positivity in your videos. after watching your videos I tried the velcro rollers for some extra oompf to my fine hair and I love it. So easy! Thanks.

TN Girlz: SO EXCITED! Thank you for these suggestions- I plan to try the bixie when we get closer to summer - I wore a similar hairstyle in my late teens, and it may have been one of my best haircuts ever.

Darlene Craig: Super excited for the upcoming collaboration! You have been inspiring me to try abd let my natural texture come through. I have the same hair as you. I think it is about the styling oroducts. I need to watch your video on that. Do you recommend any products that I could pick up at my hairdresser or local hair supply shop that would really work to let the wavy/curly texture shine and not become dull and frizzy. Thanks

Beach Town Stitchie: I love this message. I’m very happy with my gray hair that’s in the best condition of my life because I’m no longer coloring it. I also love little White House black market cardigans. Just watched another video that told me they are a no-no. But I know they look cute on me. I regularly get compliments.

Dayna Anderson: So excited you are coming down here to work with Justin! I love both of your videos. Please let me know if you all are planning on doing incredible makeovers for women who are dealing with age, medication hair loss, major losses through the pandemic. I’m in Des Moines, WA between SEA and Portland and a miracle makeover would be life changing. Sending gratitude for your compassionate, supportive videos. Always well done!

Deborah Good: I am on medication for an autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis) and am also taking thyroid medication. The medication for RA is making me lose my hair and I have made the very difficult decision to buy a wig. This video was extremely helpful in determining the style of wig; however, I am clueless when it comes to what to look for to get a quality wig that doesn't look like a wig. My research has confused me even more, terms like lace front, full lace, hand-tied, monofilament, human hair vs. synthetic, etc. Would you consider doing a video on how to buy a quality wig that fits, what characteristics to look for, etc?? Or is there a youtube channel you could refer me to??

Kc KcT: I turn 40 this year, and all of a sudden i discovered (or was able to accept) that my belt-long hair became too thin for me to be comfortable with it. I grew hair out as long as i remember - no heat, no dye, no heavy styling, and long elvish/mermaidish hair was a strong part of my personal aesthetic and identity. But this year i saw a photo of a messy bob that made me crave for a cut, and i began to shorten my hair by 5-10 cm once a few weeks(i am guilty of cutting my hair myself), but only after I feel ready and comfortable to go shorter. Now i have a layered A-lined lob, and i am totally ready for final cut. And you know what? Even if a fairy came and proposed to give me hair of any length of my previous quality, i would refuse. And finaly i can have fun with styling without fear to damage my slow-growing hair!

yael hayun: YES! another video colab with Justin would be great! both of you are my favorite hair specialists on youtube :) thank you for a great haircuts advice video for thining hair.

Vincenza Jugovic: Hi, I'm 50 and have 3b curls. I was hoping you can make a video on the best haircuts for curls. Personally, I cannot have my hair shorter than shoulder length as it doesn't suit me. Wondering if you have any ideas on how to cut/style this kind of hair without making face drag down.

LINDA WILLIS: Gaby thank you so much for this video I do have the blunt cut bang and I really want the fringe bangs you were showing so now I have to wait for my bangs to grow out for this cut, you are so helpful to all of us gals that are over 50 words can't say what a blessing you are, once again thank you and I will keep watching and learning inside and out from you

Maria DeSantis: What a great video so many great points thanks Gabi you always make me smile

shannilovely: I thought you were serious at the beginning about not having long hair after 50, and I was like “girl, what?! You do you!” In fact, I looove a long, straight bob on mature ladies

Kathy O: The Bixie is the new "I'd like to speak to the manager" cut. Seriously. It's ridiculous. And once again subtly reinforces the shirt hair over a certain age myth.

Frances: Thanks Gabi loved this! I shall embrace my natural wave ‍♀️

Frosini Xeniotis: Wow Gabi so excited to see The Power of 3 put together a video !!! Thank you again for some great tips and hair inspiration. God Bless You ! Can't wait for ur next video.

Julene Lauro: I always had very thick hair but it’s definitely thinning. I’ll be 60 this year. Thank you for sharing this video.

Sue Castillo: It’s SO important to remain open minded and teachable… we need to listen to our clients and help them to become comfortable and confident with how they look… and what defines us more than a great hair look? Learn … get your ego out the way and just love that someone shared their talent with you♥️

Trish Bliss: I am 62 and have worn some form of a bob for most of the past 37 years. It used to be fairly thick but fine, and it has thinned considerably and even finer (I call it cotton candy hair ) and so difficult to deal with. A blunt bob just works best for me. You look goegeous!

Genevieve Hodgins Laity: Great vid!!! After turning thirty my hair started to thin out, I have PCOS which did not help the cause. This was so devastating to me bc prior to this any time I saw new hairdresser I heard that I had the thickest hair they'd ever seen, even now in my mid 50's it just blows my mind how much hair can change.

trkish06: Love this video and the tips included! Thank you and much appreciated. Great job!

Christine Stefanovski: Thank you gorgeous girl for today's video.. My sister has the #3..looks great on her at 54...she has a smaller head and ears.. I'm the opposite ... longer red hair, wavy with soft layers..as I have a larger shoulders and back. Yes, sadly hair is getting thinner with time, so it's important to supplement our bodies with affordable nourishment as life is getting ridiculously expensive. Stress.....I try to take a few minutes to breath away stress every day..every day is different but I try . Stay safe ...

Denise Reynolds: I’m 69 and my hair has become thinner and more brittle as you described. I’ve embrace a bob and lob. I always loved a side swept bang but now my bangs are too thin. I learned the hard way and convinced stylist to cut them. Well, I wasn’t happy and chopped a bit shorter on my own. Disaster! Ladies be careful. Luckily I’m able to hide them and look like I don’t have bangs. But Gabi, do you have any recommendations for fly away hair? I use good shampoos/ conditioners like olaplex and oribe. Maybe something to apply to dry hair?

Karen H: My hair is fine but I have a lot of it…which product(s) do you recommend to enhance your natural texture? With age mine has developed a slight wave/curl! Thanks!

Joyce Cochran: Love #4 Gabi. Thanks so much. ❤

Amy Tyer: I just turned 50 and have been struggling with my hair for a while. I’m thinking about transitioning my hair to gray. I would love some tips on that.

Cyn Mac: Excited for the collaboration!!! Watch all three and learn so much!! Thank you!!!

Diane Welzel: Turning 60 in two months, so naturally I'm watching this! My latest style is pretty close to your #1 bob and I like it! What I really, really like is that necklace you're wearing! I was hoping you had deets in the info box, but nothing! Do share!!!

Valerie S: I gave a this morning, but upon doing my hair, I thought of u bc u gave so many great tips within ur 5 tips to confirm our ‘feel good’ thoughts . I don’t use expletives but u r so awesome❗️ I saw a 45 yr old woman from behind w/really naturally long, thick hair & I thought she was her dtr . We’re now friends

Lois Semanek: It's not about looking younger but healthier and the best I can. Thanks for this helpful video

Judy Perez: I can’t wait for you guys to be together I’m am excited I first discovered Justin and then I discovered GABI now I need to see summer techniques in style, color and hair cuts

Karen Prueher: Thanks for all the great styles to pick from. What strong hold hair spray do you reccomend or use most on your clients?

heartofmyhome: Ipm pumped up for the upcoming collab! All of you are my heroes!

Victoria lynn Stewart: Luv the intro, u made me feel that no matter my age I have my own style!

Erin C: I’d love some advice on aging and hair color. I’m 49 and just starting to get a few grays. Mostly around the perimeter of my hairline. I’m a brunette with balayage that I get done about once a year because I’m low Maintenance. I don’t want to dye my gray sideburns dark brown because that’s too much maintenance. Should I add babylights in to blend any grays I’m getting? Some face framing highlights?

providence phelps: Gabi such a huge fan (as you know). Your knowledgeable, kind and so relatable. Would you be able to recommend a good leave-in conditioner? So I have thin hair. But it’s also super-dry and porous. I’ve bought everything from Olaplex and it seems to not make much of a difference. Recently I bought Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum. It’s pretty good. I’ve also used Purology leave-in conditioner, It’s a Ten! leave in conditioner. They all make my hair better than without it. I guess I just see your videos and you hair is so shiny. Wish mine were like that. Anyway, thank you for all that you do!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Rebecca W: Hi Gabs- I love love love your natural curl! Gorgeous

Music Lover: I love Justin Hickox and he lives in my city! A collab with you, Sommer and Justin sounds fabulous! My daughter turns 37 next month and was a Stylist for years, then converted to the business end of things. Maybe that’s why I connect with you, same age and a Pisces. I feel she got into the hair industry because I was always doing something new. That’s actually a problem right now. I have lost my flair for flair! Time for a change but I like so many things I can’t make up my mind on the next length, shape. I have fine, medium to high density wavy hair and have been enjoying the natural texture. It is getting a bit long, flat on top and heavy at the sides. I want a carefree unstructured vibe and am sure I will go for a shaggy lob of some sort. Just flirting with fringe ideas to give some lift. I like fringe without a part or that falls with the natural part. Saved a million pics on my Pinterest board, some of which you featured. Next appt is 3/12 so wish me good vibes!

Sue Castillo: Been doing natural texture look lately♥️love that look! Seems to be a universal great look♥️I LOVED this video❣️ here are some sunflowers for beautiful you❣️‍♀️XXOO♥️

Kemberly Brooks: LOL that you loaded this video today, 2 hours ago i had layers put into my hair after about 15 years of having ALL my hair the same length. I turn 52 in 4 days and i felt flat and drab, she also did some face framing also. I am so nervous about styling it for the first time, but i am sure i will adapt. ALSO, i got rid of my shark flex styler and bought the Dyson Air wrap LOVE IT! I have had the Dyson blowdrier for about 10 years and have loved it the Air Styler is not heavy at all and I feel like it delivers less heat that the Shark when both are on low heat. My husband used to say it smelled like burning hair when i used the shark on low. Thank you for your video's LOVE them ❤❣

Linda Chafetz: So excited. I'm in my 70s with fine, thinning hair. Looking forward to your collaboration.

Janette Hunt: Hi Gaby I’m almost 62 and my hair is longer than I’ever had for years now to my shoulder. It’s a brunette blunt bob and I’ve grown out my fringe but still have it so I can have a longer fringe or have a side parting. I’ve always had thin hair but it does look thicker with regular cuts. not sure it’s given me an instant face lift though but i love it this style as I can wave and have a fuller volume style if I need. Love your videos

Vicki Driscoll: Excited about your upcoming video with Justin, I have viewed one already and enjoyed it. I’m not sure if it’s the one you spoke of. I’m 74, cannot believe it!!! I always had thick hair and always received compliments. Now I have frontal fibrosing alopecia and thinning hair, robbed me of my confidence. But I’m fighting it and making the best of it. Thank you so much for your informative videos Gabi❤️

JulieNick: My hair was long and thick. In 2019 I lost it to chemo. It came back much thinner and finer. I have a version of the bixie. I just having trouble finding a stylist who can do it. I search instagram a lot and every freaking stylist shows long, colored hair. No one in my area showcases anything else!

Gail Flodstrom: Thank You Gabi, I really enjoy your tips & tricks. I'm From Portland area & my dream someday is to have Justin cut & style my hair!

miss kitty: Wonderful video Gabbi! But I wonder how I could make some of them work for my long diamond face shape. I need bangs to cover my forehead wrinkles but they are so thin now that they are see through in fact my hair has gotten so thin that I don't know what to do anymore.

Jayney P: Love your videos!! Wish we could hang out :) I have wavy hair and I am still stuck straightening it and "then" putting some curls back. It I wanted to wear it more naturally, what products would you recommend so that I can wear it in it's more natural state. Currently, it's wave and frizzy :(

EILEEN Kilworth: I would love to embrace my natural wave but I find second day hair looks a mess & fluffy....any tips? Perhaps I'll try & look back through your tutorials

Hilary Beam: So excited! You 3 are my favorites!! I want you guys to do my hair!

Karla James: I am so excited for the collaboration as I watch all three !!

Marguerite Himmelberg: Excited about the upcoming collaboration! Can’t wait!

French Fry: Timing on this couldn't be better for me! Love your videos! Thank you!

Turra Gorman: Is the bixie possible for thin, fine, straight hair?

Michael Halbritter: Excited by the collaboration with Summer and Justin!

Chantelle Lynn: I am so excited!!! I watch both of your channels. I love watching summer cut hair

1KAP: Oh and I’m excited about you and Summer collaborating!

Jayne Nicoletti: 55. Embraced my curls. I can’t have shorter hair. It needs weight. But I keep it just passed shoulders.

Anna Wrobel: I love Your current haircut. I’m considering cutting my hair to similar length.

Cynthia Turpin: So excited! I watch all three of you - didn't know you all knew each other!!

Gloria Stewart: So excited!!! 70 here & love your videos! ‍♀️ ♥️

Marissa West (EC): I don’t like the Bixie on older women, I feel it just looks like an “old lady cut”. The models you showed looked great but that’s because they are models!

Donna Wait: So excited for the upcoming collaboration!

Ishee: Hi Gabi Can you add chapters to your videos please? Would love to be able to come back and rewatch specific parts of your videos!

Jacq Churchm: SO excited for the collaboration!!

Darlene Bartos: I definitely have thinner hair- I use clip in extensions

Linda Lincoln: So excited!! Can't wait for the collab!!!

Lizzie B: I find women of experience to be extremely stylish and chic when they style their hair that suits their face and attitude and NOT their age!

rebecca reese jones: omfg, you're canadian! me too lol . have you done a video on 'fun colours' for anyone, but especially women over a certain age? i turned 50 last month and will be trying neon orange for the first time lol

C VonSutphen: *Super Excited* . 55 yr. old, menopausal hair thinning, hard water damage, stopped coloring and growing fringe out journey; let's talk, shall we. I rocked a bob from 40-50 with bangs. I moved to a location with very hard water. Menopause hit hard with hair thinning, I'm fine textured but density was good. I stopped coloring from medium blonde to mousy brown, and embracing the gray. I went through a year of growing out the bangs in the hopes of a bit more body. My hair became noticeably more wavy (2B). I tried multiple CG routines and $$ products. My hair still looked like . I addressed the hard water issue with a shower filter and chelating shampoo and conditioner. I'm a Soft Natural, love volume and body without a lot of work. I have recently switched to the JVN hair care line and ION Purify for Hard Water. I like my hair collar bone length with layers/texturing. I don't miss the bangs. My waves are poppin', hair is in great condition and I can go 3 days before a wash. The JVN Air Dry Cream is a "must have" as well as the Embody Foam. Re-fresh days have never been so effortless. I would love to hear this dynamic trio talk about hard water damage.

Yvonne Bejarano: I'm 57 and my hair is down to my waist!
