Okay meet Candace. Now there are currently four mistakes that are happening with Candace's hair. That well are causing her to look a little bit older. So I'm going to walk you through exactly what those mistakes are and, much more importantly, how she can modify those mistakes. So she can get a more youthful look, and this is gon na be a fun episode. So if you're not new to the series, you've been around a while you're gon na like this yep. Okay, if you are new to the channel in just a second I'm going to explain exactly what this series in this video is all about, but if you're a veteran, why don't you go ahead and comment below? Let me know if you can decide on the four different mistakes that I'm seeing with Candace's hair, and then we can talk about that. But if you are new, my name is Justin Hickox and while I prefer to take you on adventures, while I teach you about her, basically all it means is unlike sitting in a salon and you get a better backdrop there you go, but in this series I Actually have subscribers that send me in photos asking the question: what mistakes am I making with my hair, and how can I get a more youthful look and well that's exactly what I do share those mistakes share. What suggestions I have and at the very end of the video I usually show some curveballs some different styles or colors, that they can do that. I think will look great, maybe something out of the left field if you will, but in today's video I told you, this is a good one and I will tell you now if you like curveballs, I have a lot of them, a lot of them and just A second I'll explain, but there's a lot of them. So let's get the mistakes. Okay. Now before we dive into these mistakes, let's first read the email that Candace sent with her submission. So you can get a better idea of exactly where my suggestions are coming from. The email reads: thank you for providing such amazing information. I love your channel, I'm 51.. Okay. First of all, Candace you're, not 51.. Sorry, you are clearly 32. but to know, as you can see, with the email, there wasn't a lot of information which is both good and bad. It'S bad because I do like to have information to understand more about the client to really give an idea of where they want to go and what they're struggling with. But it's good for you because it opened me way up like way up when we dive into the curveballs you're gon na see exactly how much it opened me up to my suggestions and maybe a little bit too much, but anyway, with that said, I did do A little bit of digging because I think it's important to get some baseline information, and so I did notice this at the bottom of Candace's email. Now, when we go through the curveballs, I'm going to explain exactly what impact this one little piece of information had on me: okay, so let's dive into mistakes. Okay. Now, as I said, this is going to be a little bit of a different video. I really wanted to dive into some crew balls we're going to play this a little different than we normally. Would I'm going to show you the mistakes after we talk about them and show you what they would all collectively look like on Candace if she just went for all of it and then we're gon na break into a handful of different curveballs and then what I Want you to do is share exactly which one in the comments below that you, like the most whatever one you guys like the most I'm going to see. If I can actually talk Candace into doing it, I don't know, should we try, I think we should try. Okay, so, first of all, let's talk about the mistakes mistake number one is that the length is just a little bit too long. Now, if you've been around this channel for any amount of time, you know that I'm not against long hair at all and I'm not saying that it everybody has to have short hair. What I'm saying is that for Candace, this particular length is pulling her overall shape down it's drawing the eye down, and it's not allowing us enough shape internally through layering to really get the volume in the areas necessary at this particular length. Since layers should balance with the particular length that the hair is, it would mean that the layers would need to be too long and still end up being heavy, even if it was layered enough now mistake number two is kind of not necessarily the lack of bangs, But just the lack of softness around the bang area. Now, I'm not saying that Candace needs to wear bangs, but what I am saying is that some lightness around the bang area - maybe some shorter layers - that connect about where bangs would typically hit, would go a long way to start accentuating more of canis's cheek structure. Now canis has very good bone structure. She'S a beautiful woman, but accentuating that cheek structure would go a long way to lifting the eye and giving Candace a more youthful look now mistake: number three is just kind of the lack of layering in the front at all. Really, there's just not enough movement or Texture in the front. And you can see that by looking at the amount of weight and bulk in this area and that's actually dragging the eye down. But overall dragging the shape down and just not giving enough movement or Texture to the shape in general. Now mistake number four is a kind of a combination of the last two mistakes and that's simply that there just isn't enough layering in general, not a left, layering internally, as well as in the front now. The biggest concern with this is that again, this is weighing the hair down and overall weighing the shape down. If we were to add a little bit more layering and texture to this overall shape, not only with the overall volume and shape look better, but also the color would actually look like it had more Dimension. Now, it's not that the color is broken, but what it looks like here is that highlights have been done over and over and over and over, and what happens in that situation is, while the roots still maintain a little bit of depth. The ends end up. Looking lighter and lighter and lighter, and what I mean by that, is they actually end up looking more washed out, so it looks like there's less Dimension more often than not. The best practice is that, after every couple of times you go in to get your highlights. Retouched at the roots that third time or that fourth time you end up, adding in some of your natural color as low lights, to kind of break up that shape, so that this doesn't end up happening and start to get too light overall. So I think, adding a little bit more Dimension back into her color would go a long way to giving the overall shape a lot more movement and texture, but also, I think it would add, a little bit more red richness to Kenneth's skin tone. Okay, so now that we know exactly what those mistakes are, why don't we just go ahead and jump into the suggestions where I actually show you exactly what it would look like if Candace took my advice and made those changes? Okay? Well, I guess you do get to see me in the salon, because when I got home to edit this video, I recognized that uh, this part of the video actually didn't have any sound. So, rather than make you sit at home and try to read, lips figured well I'll, just refilm it - and I happen to be here today, so this is where you get it from okay. So, as I said before, we're going to walk through all of the mistakes. All collectively at once to see what it would look like if Candace took my suggestion, and so if we did actually bring the length up a little bit layer, it in the front have some pieces that were shorter, closer to bang-ish length as well as layer. It more internally and kind of give the hair a little bit more dimensional than the color. This is what that would look like now, as you can see. I really like this overall look on canvas. I do think it gives the hair a lot more movement, but, most importantly, I think it goes a long way to starting to accentuate aspects of Candace's face shape that we can accentuate stuff like again cheek structure, bone structure in general lifting the eye up. All of those things that have a tendency to give people a more youthful look, but, more importantly, I also like the versatility that this gives you still because of the layering and because of the lack of bulk. Now you still have a lot of opportunity with styling. It maybe wavy or straight or even if you decided, to put it up into a bun you'd, still be able to have some softness that came down. They gave it kind of a point of Interest, there's just a lot of different things. You can do with this shape, so I think it would be a fantastic shape for her to move into, but with that said, we have so many more shapes for you to look at. So, let's pop back into the video and let's see some curveballs okay, now, as I told you, I've got a lot of curveballs here. I actually have four complete completely different curveballs that I personally think would look amazing on Candace, but, as I told you before, I want to know what you think so we're going to number these one through four and then, as I said after this is over, I Want you to go ahead and comment below and let me know what number you think looks best, then we're going to figure out which one the most of you voted for and I'm gon na try to see. If I can talk Candace into actually doing it. Let'S do this now when I saw this, it told me a couple of things. First of all, it told me that she's, creative right, you don't become a writer and you're, not an actress unless you have some sort of creative Backbone in you, but it also told me from an actor's perspective that you have to be mildly, cautious about how much You change because your image is very important to when you get rolls, so I wanted to start with an idea that would be a little bit out of the ordinary, definitely a shift, but I don't think so far that it would really change Candace's brand. So this is my first idea: okay, now, as you can see, clearly we're not dealing with the massively different length. In fact, this is about the length and the overall shape that I made in my suggestions right. This is a layered mid-length. Look that has some shorter pieces in the front. It'S basically exactly what I suggested is quote-unquote mistakes that were happening with her current shape. The big difference here is obviously the darker tone, which, if I'm honest, I freaking love for you Candace. I love it now. I get it, it is a huge shift, but I really think this brings out a lot of richness in your skin and it really makes your eyes and your features just pop as dark hair can do. I also love that the waves really give the overall shape a lot more Dimension. As I said before, there's still the versatility you'd still be able to dry it straight, and it would look very similar to our first photo just quite a bit darker, but I also, as I said before, recognized it. It might be a little too dramatic. I'M gon na tell you now. This is not the most dramatic curveball I've got so this is dramatic. We'Re in for some trouble. Okay, curveball number two now in this one, I wanted to go a little bit more dramatic but at the same time not go completely wild. This is actually almost more similar to what she has now than the last one, which you're gon na. Think I'm crazy. When you see well this okay, I know it looks completely different than what she's got now, but it's not all that different. It'S that the length is up and it's more of a bob shape. It still incorporates a lot of layering. Yes, it's obviously quite dark, but aside from the color, the shape in many ways is kind of a shorter version of what she currently has. If we just layered it up a little bit more and kind of brought it into a little bit more strength at the Baseline, but it's not a whole lot different aside from the length. So while this does seem dramatic, it actually isn't. I don't think as dramatic as it might look now. I do love this shape because it is still a bob shape, but it gives a lot of Versatility. You know that I'm a huge fan of Bob's and I'm mainly a fan of them because they don't offer a ton of Versatility within the way you style them, but they do offer a ton of Versatility in the way. You look meaning that if you want to look funky or edgy, you simply dress funky or edgy, and the Bob still makes sense same thing goes for more classic, more conservative or more polished. The Bob is still going to make sense. You don't have to change that shape. You get. Those different looks. That'S part of the reason that it led me to this idea for Candace, because she is an actress. This could still give her a lot of opportunity within the different roles, because the hair doesn't have to speak to who she is. I hope that makes sense, but, as I said, we have more dramatic looks coming up. So, let's dive in to curveball number three, this next one is going to be quite different. We'Re going to go back to the light color we're going to bring things back a little bit, but we're going to switch up the shape completely. So this is number three. Okay, now do me a favor and ignore the color on this. I recognize it as absolutely horrific. I don't know what happened. Something happened. It was weird when I brought that photo into Photoshop to try to like actually put the style on Candace, and I couldn't get this stupid blue tone out of her hair on this side. So just the other side, this side right here, that's close to what I'm talking about uh. So, yes, forgive me, but the shape the style looked too good. I couldn't pass it up, so I wanted to show you anyway. I love this movement on Candace. I love the texture and the shape overall really does a great job of accentuating her cheekbones and her overall face structure. I do like this color because it still has a bit more Dimension, but one of the things that I love is the overall texture, the kickiness. The messiness of this look, I think, of Candace we're gon na head into a shape at roughly this length. This would be the way that I would approach it, because it has a lot more spunk and fun to the overall feel. This is what kind of keeps it on a little bit more of a youthful Edge to me and doesn't look overly contrived. So I personally am a really big fan of this and yes, her hair texture could do it and also it is a lot shorter. I get that but you're blonde again Candace. So at least I haven't totally shocked you there right, okay and number four folks. This is definitely the most dramatic All Around Here Comes the drama you ready for the drama. Oh, that view doesn't suck drama. Okay, number four, I went all in. I said: let's do this, let's really show Candace something different. Show you something different, and here it is okay. I am fully aware this is quite short. This is a game changer. This potentially could be for better or worse, a career changer. I don't know how this goes when we get into the overall actress portion of Candace's life, but I do know that this overall shape looks awesome on her. She wears it exceptionally well. What I really like about this aside from the color is the fact that it's got multiple different ways that you can actually style it, as you can see from this front shot it's styled back up off of the face and kind of a little bit more of A faux hawkish kind of feel and to me it really just kind of Screams kind of edgy fun without going too far. But then, if we switch over to this profile, look you can see that you could also wear it down and get a very different. A little bit more contrived feel to it, which also, I think, would look fantastic. So, although it is quite short in actuality, it probably has one of the most versatile aspects in terms of the way you stop pilot to any of the shapes that we have here, except for the very first curveball now. As far as the color goes again, I'm really leaning towards the dark for you Candace and it's not because blonde doesn't look good. The blonde looks great and I would assume that there's probably a level of you that kind of identifies to that blonde, because maybe you've been blonde for a while. But I think that these dark tones do such a great job of really bringing out your skin tone, and I really think that not everybody can wear blonde and dark, but I think you definitely could - and I think this brown might be a good move for you, Especially heading into the winter season, when people tend to kind of go dark anyway, it wouldn't look out of place, so those folks are four different options that, I think, would look amazing on canvas. But here, as I said before, is the key we should go downstairs. The description - and I want you to type in and let me know which one you love and like I said, let me see if I can get Candace to actually do it. So we get enough comments. Maybe there'll be enough peer support. She actually decides to go for it so comment below and let me know, but for now uh I'm gon na enjoy that view. Because look at this look at this are you kidding me look at that doesn't suck. Let'S be honest, that is amazing. Folks, okay, I'm gon na try not to fall over in the snow, but okay guys. Thank you for hanging out. Oh wow, that's beautiful!

Nancy Dann: Surprised you didn't show us Dionna's hair style as an option. This is the first time I prefer her original look with some layers and cleaning up. I'm also in entertainment and for someone in the business, #s 2, 3 and 4 could totally change her booking ability. Of these options #1 is best, #2 looks like your fun neighbor/teacher, #3 screams suburban mom, #4 is a hard no... With a face like Candyce, she can't go wrong, but I prefer 1 the best. Thanks Justin.

Doodle: I love the first and third options. They both make her even more beautiful and youthful. Leaning toward the first option as the most natural choice for Candyce.

Susan Chaney: I'm still loving the longer length of #1 AND the color is beautiful on her. I actually think it's the most youthful but I'm a bit of long-hair biased as I think it's easier to maintain.

cyberpunk: I actually like her original hair the way it is. I think she actually looks younger as is. For some reason, in my opinion, having less 'styled' hair looks the most youthful.

Pirjo Kujansuu: #2 is my top choice. Love the color, it suits her skin and eye color the best of the four colors. This style is also the most youthful, unique and dramatic of the four styles - perfect for an actor and writer. Perhaps soften the cut slightly around her face. #3 is my second choice, but with the change of using the color of #2. This youthful, soft style also suits her face well.

Beth Snyder: She looks great in all options but #1 is my favorite with #2 being a close second choice. I love the darker tones on her and the longer lengths. Can’t wait to see what she chooses!

Senorita Steffy: Candyce is so beautiful, I think she could rock almost any style! It was hard to pick a favourite, but if pushed, I'd probably say number 1. I defo like the darker tones. It'll be interesting to see what everyone votes for and what Candyce decides to do. Thanks, Justin

Kathy Zanotelli: I think the color of #1 with the style of #3. They all look great on her. It’s hard to do a color change though. What happens when you go blonde to brown- do you get a lot of out growth where you have to color more often and is that bad for your hair? How hard would it be to go back to blonde if you wanted after picking a darker color? Can’t wait to see what you choose- any of them will look great on you.

Jacq Churchm: Wow, so many options and she can rock them all so well!! I personally prefer the longer in the dark brown however I plain have a preference for longer hair as I find it has less maintenance for me.

Jeri Glynn: I love the first long option and the mid length third option. The forth option is too short for me. I’m shocked at how great all of them look on her and how great the darker color looks.

YorkieMom: I just LOVE the #2 on her!!! It does so much for her… both cut and color ❤

Barbara Ferrier: #1 - love the darker color and keeping lots of the length with the modifications in layers you suggest.

Julianne Rogers: For the curveball, I prefer #1, the darker color looks great on her. I do prefer her hair longer, I think she looks more youthful with a longer length. I also like her original hair with maybe a bit more layering, it's the style that I have, but longer.

Rae Edelman: I loved the dark wavy and the shorter blonde! Hated the bob and very short. I actually liked the hint of a bluish error that occurred! Actresses usually get extensions or wear wigs/hair pieces, unless their style is perfect for the role. I often laugh because there's not many actresses that I would probably recognize in real life because they are made to look so different more times than not! Do you have a lot of people lined up for your next episodes? I need advice on my hair! I'm 50, have gotten blonde highlights and a 'curtain' bang and no layering throughout. My hair grows very fast and I can only afford to get my hair done twice a month. I got my hair done about 2 months ago and the roots are almost an inch long with my medium/light brown hair.

Kathryn: #3 is my choice. As an artist myself, it's says both fun and youthful. P.S. My hair is no longer like it is in the picture. Thanks to my listening to your advice, it's now in an inverted bob.

Aundria B.: I like curveballs 1 & 3 the best, and 4 the least. The pixie is just too structured and severe for me and actually makes her look more masculine from the front the way you have it styled here. The layers and high-/low-lights of curveballs 1 & 3 give her a softness and playfulness that are very youthful, and seem to fit more with her softer, casual vibe.

Lynne Shaw: Definitely #2 for me. The colour and the length and the way it frames her face, all work the best out of all the styles, including her original.

Cole Younger: #3 is my favorite. It does make her look younger as well as adds a more spunky and fun feeling. #1 also looks very good on her, adding more volume around her face.

barbara morris: I love 1 the best! Third option would be my second choice, but if I do like the darker tone of the first. Number 2 looks too severe to me, not sure if it’s the cut, the way it’s styled in the photoshop or the color (too dark). And I actually think the last option makes her look older, not younger.

Steph B: Hands down curveball #1. Loved the style and color. Would look really good on her. Hope you do an update. Would love to know what she chose.

Machaela Ailene: I personally love the 1st of the 4 suggestions. The dark hair with the mid-long hair is both perfect for her face shape and skin tone.

Erifili Kaselidou: I loved the 3rd option so much on her, that now I ‘m thinking of having this hairstyle myself!!!

Andra: #1 is #1!!!! Hands down the clear winner from my perspective. I love the darker color in her. So pretty! My number 2 choice would be hairstyle #3. I would be too scared to go that short but it looks like a fun style. You're killing it as always and thanks for the view that doesn't suck.

H Attar: #1 ‘s my choice. Love the color and cut on her, but I would suggest that a slightly shorter version - not past shoulder length and styled to the lowest part of the collar bone. Thank you for your videos!

Tish Lowe: I prefer the first (blonde) version correcting all the mistakes. Second choice is curve ball #3.a fun and funky look. Candace is beautiful and can wear all the styles well.

Cheri Lawhon: I really liked 1 and 3. The shorter cut looks fantastic, but I know that’s got to be a really big change coming from long and blonde. Wonder which one she’ll pick?

Patricia Roller: I love #1!! The darker hair is absolutely gorgeous on her.

Carol Lambe: I like the color of 1 with the cut of 3 - just a tad longer though. My opinion is that warmer color looks great with her skin tone - the cut of 3 looks youthful - just maybe an inch or 2 longer so that it is more the Bob length. Love your videos - thanks!! PS - my hair has changed since the pic as it now has lowlights as suggested in another one of your videos for silver hair.

Evon Trower: Candice is such a beautiful woman that any of these styles would look good on her. That being said, I like option #1 the best and I agree the darker shade make her eyes look awesome. Good job Justin, as always.

Music Lover: Curveball #1 definitely! So youthful and flattering. Runner up is #3. Love this kind of short cut And messy do! As a result, #4…too structured, feels rigid and least favorite.

Wild Flower: Wow Justin, you are right on with the color and cut in curveball #1! So pretty on her! The cut in #3 is also great.

Tina D: I love #1 and #3 equally. I think the darker color looks fantastic on her. If #3 is too much of a change, I could see her starting out with #1 and maybe going into #3 down the road. And if darker hair is too much of a change, I can definitely see just adding lowlights and do that gradually too. Can't wait to see a follow up on this.

Donna Graham: Candyce is very fortunate as she obviously has many options for her hair that are flattering on her. I like curveball 1 (darker color, layered shape) as it really brings out her eyes but I thought curveball 3 was amazing. The shape looked great on her, really accentuating her cheekbones and eyes. And even though I don't really like snow, the view in this video was beautiful!

Bellinda Methot: I like photo #1. The colour looks amazing on her and it’s close to the natural colour from our much younger years. The cut brings a youthful appearance and showcases her beauty!

Merni Locke: I LOVE curve ball number 1! Beautiful Color and the fullness looks great!

Jill Walls: Love your videos, Justin! I love curveball number one and number three. Like some others, I think cut number three with the color from number one would be great. Knowing what she does, curveball number one might be the best option, though. Hope you can talk her into that one. It’s a wow factor!

Regina Day Snuffer: Oh my goodness!!!! I LOVE the dark bob!!!! It gives her a totally different vibe!!! I hope she chooses to go with it!! Another great video with awesome recommendations!!! P. S. Candyce, PLEASE choose the dark bob!! Lol

Barb6106: Justin! Love these videos.. all options are lovely. I know nothing on this subject, so your visions have helped me with my hair game. My lack of expertise keeps me from picking “best” option for her…plus, who am I to give opinion on someone else’s choices? She is going to look good no matter which option she picks…all make her look younger IMO! Question… since you are on the road now, do you no longer have a salon? Have you given up that part of your life? Covid was not kind to the salon industry! You are delightful to watch…I really enjoy learning from you.

Carolyn Waters: 1, 3, 4, 2 1 gives her the best look followed by 3. Both keep her looking youthful, which is the goal. 4 ages her by 10 years, although agree that she can wear it. 2 seems to go against opening her facial structure. Overall, I typically enjoy watching weekly. It helps me understand and select styles for me. My biggest wish is that you decide to come hike part of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, Winchester specifically. I’d LOVE to get my hair done by you. Thank you for your education and humor.

DebWittner: You mentioned Candace's brand as an actress. Keeping that in mind, understand that she has marketed herself with her current look, so any dramatic changes will call for changes to her efforts, such as head shots and portfolios. My first choice is your original suggestion; adding layering and freshening highlights. (I believe #'s 2 through 4 just age her.) Sorry, Justin, but the bob is terrible - it completely closes off her face.

Patty Depcrymski: I like 1 and 3. I definitely like the darker color on her. I'd actually love to see 3 in the same color as 1.

Diann Howard: I prefer looks #1 and #3. The first one might be more comfortable for her to ease into and looks lovely on her. Look #3 is so playful and edgy looking she should go for it!

Mary Ann Conkey: Darker color is spot on! It lights up her features and makes her stand out from a sea of blondes….I am from Minnesota and the blonde thing can get monotonous. Any of the hairstyles look great. Her choice. Justin, you knocked this one out of the park!

Bespeak Studios: Love curveball #1 - the long wavy style with the darker tones. Gorgeous!

Kay Happy: Thanks for showing us the options. How fun! I like style 0- blond with layers. My second choice is style #4 if she wants to reinvent her look. By the way, I do not care for the brown bob because it doesn't go with the shape of her face. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

MAD: I think your original suggestion for changes (not curveballs) and then #1 curveball are my favorites. If she is an actress, the other cuts might necessitate that she wear wigs for some auditions or roles. The longer hair is more versatile. I do like that color on #1 too on her.

H R: As much as I love a pixie, #1 is perfect!! The darker color and softness look the most youthful on her.

Denise Cape: My pick is number one. Still long and really does add movement and warmth. Softens get over all look.

J W: Style #1 but keep it blonde with added low lights to refresh her bleached out blonde color. The short hairstyles age her. She can carry the long hair beautifully so keep it! She’s got plenty of time to go short. I’ll also add that it really depends on her personality too, as those styles tend to represent different types.

Cindy K: Number 1 looks fabulous on Candace! Definitely suggests a more youthful woman and can be styled up or down. The color seems to be an ideal match.

Wendy Fuller: Since this is about making her (and us) look as young as possible, these are the ages she looks in each original age 45, #1 age 29, #2 age 40 #3 age 35 and #4 age 60. She is beautiful in all, but #1 is by far the best.

Tammy Frank: #1 is my favorite look for her! I love the color and the cut on her. Really makes her look young!

Becky: I really loved all these options, but my favorite is the long brown one!

Sue Hulme: I love 1 or 3… but I’d like 3 with the color of number 1! I’d love to see if she decides on one of the curveballs!

Julie Meyers: I love 2 and 4!! The darker brings out her skin tones and facial structure. Be brave Candyce!

Jenn: I love curveballs #1 and #4!!! I also agree the darker hair looks stunning on her complexion

Rhonda Buce: I like the hair shoulder length, or a bit longer, layered and soft, darker color blending into the light color going down. Number 4 is actually my favorite because my daughter has hair similar to it and she would look great with this cut. But I prefer my hair longer, although I am considering a shorter style.

Madelyn Lawson: You certainly did not disappoint with this episode, both the curve balls and the view had major wow factor. My vote is for #1 with #3 a close runner up. Thanks as always for sharing your talent with us.

K: JUSTIN!!!! WHAT FANTASTIC SUGGESTIONS! I love them all. My favorite for her is number 1!!! My hair is close to number 2 right now but for me I would really like to move close to number 3. A question for you? My hair is fine, thin, what do I ask my stylist for to get this cut?

Tana Suter: Your suggestion is my favorite. The first curveball seems to make her face look thinner. But I like the color and shape. No to #2; it closes in her face shape. The cut for #3 is cool and great for her face shape. #4 is an absolute no.

joytimes4: As an actress I think #1 would be her best bet. Number 2 closes her face off somewhat and while I like number 3 I think it’s not as youthful looking. And #4 would be too drastic a change. Love your videos!

Jess S: I have to agree that her current hair style is the least aging option. BUT, #1 by far the most flattering. I love it the most! A brown color with waves would look so good on her. Personally, I'm not trying to look younger, but I like having a modern hair style, that is flattering on me.

Mindy Morales: Lots of great choices - I think I prefer #1, although #4 has a real Charlize Theron vibe!

Kathy Gann: I really like what the darker colors do to her skin, but I just have a feeling that women who like long very blonde hair like the attention their hair gets them, and don’t mind giving up making their skin look better.

Deniece Allen: Love the dark tone, by far my favorite, looks amazing. Go for it

PT Coristine: I love curveball #1 the best! But she looks fantastic in all of the options!

Forest Fox: LOVED #1 I'm not generally a fan of short short...but #4 did look pretty good with her facial features also.

C Glo: She’s so pretty she can wear any of the styles! My favorite is curveball #1. The long wavy style and darker brown really rocks!

Shirl E: Number 1 and 3 tie for me. Both look great! Number one is a softer, romantic look and number 3 is a little more edgy and fun. I have to say it, Ihope she does not do number 4 though. I just think that really ages her, and at least the way you show it, it does not look romantic, fun or edgy at all. It reminds me of the 80's mom or business woman hair.

DORIS M: Number 3. I think the dark hair is too dark. I also love the "edgy" look of #3.

Catching Horses: 2. Here’s my curveball: I like blonde for winter and darker for summer. Dark hair with my winter complexion isn’t great, and I don’t have time to touch up blonde during the summer.

Terrie McElwain: I actually loved #1. Darker looks great on her. The only one I didn't like was the Bob.

Michelle Hochrein: Love all the cuts but love the darker. Gives you more skin color and feature focus.

Christine Jensen: I think she would be in shock if she went short and edgy after having long blonde hair. I like the look of number one for a more youthful, versatile and much healthier looking hair! It is not such a dramatic change as the other choices, but she could work up to those in time if she chooses.

Candyce Weir: Oh my! Wow thank you EVERYONE for your feedback, and to Justin for doing this video. You all have such great comments and suggestions for me…I’m veering towards #1 and #3…so please stay on board and let’s see where this goes…where’s that finger biting emoji

Debbie Daubert Anderson: I absolutely love the short blonde style! She looks younger and more interesting...She looks amazing!

Acayette: I'm voting for: The look she has now. I don't know why but imo she doesn't need any makeover because he current hairstyle is the closest to what young people wear. I feel like the hairstyles presented (despite not being bad nor ugly) are just not suitable for her face. If anything I would choose nr 1 as it's the most youthful out of all 4 options.

Renee Lemanski: I love #1 and #3 is a close second. Good Luck to you Candyce, you cant go wrong with any of Justin's suggestions!!

Deb Prima: I liked option #1 with the darker hair. She looks 10 years younger. She should have a photo of all four options in her portfolio. She could fill a lot of different rolls with these potential different looks.

Johanne Boivin: 1 and 3 are my favorites for sure but I would really love to know which one is HER favorite. I wish you were in Canada or have someone as talented as you for suggestions on my own style. Happy holidays to you and your spouse

yael hayun: Justin, your videos are great! I'm enjoying watching them so much- thank you! for this beautiful woman, I liked options 3 and 2 the best. I just LOVE bob haircuts and also think they look great on almost all women. keep making wonderful videos for us :) Yael from Israel

Christine Odom: She looks so young as is but if I had to choose to switch to, I’d pick 1. The mid tone with hilights just seemed to make her glow without being too stylized.

Andrea Long: I really like the first and second "curve balls" the best, but I also like the third "curve ball". She is a lovely woman, and could pull off any of them.

Joanna McDee: The dark hair makes the scoop lines under her eyes more prominent. The fourth super short one, nope as she looks older... The mid-short one made her look fun and funky. And the first one where some length was taken off made her look the best...

Lena B: #1 and #3 I think are best. I think the very short one makes her look older IMO. Would love to see any changes she makes. Great video Justin as always.

Peggy Travels: My very favorite is #1 with the medium brown tones and those soft waves. The darker blunt cut seems harsh on her because of the very straight lines. Then #3 is fabulous and love that look on her. Number 4 is my least favorite…sorry. That cut looks like she is an officer worker.

Vicki Zeimen: I absolutely love #1 however I think it would be a close tie with #3 if #3 were In the darker shade. I think that #4 is too uptight. Hope we get to see whatever she does.

sandi duplechin: I love the cut and color of #1 on her. I think any of the first three are cute on her. I’m not a fan of #4.

Katrin Southern: Love 1 best, then 3. Thanks Justin, great series ❤

Jen Till: Number 1 is AMAZING!!!!! That is perfect for her and once she gets used to it, perhaps she will switch it up again in a few months to number 2. ☺

Sue Brady: Number 3. Love the color and the layering.

roxannelucky: One and three for me. Thanks for these tutorials :)

Karin M: #3 is amazing. Love it. She looks youthful and fun. Plus love the color

Melissa Hays: For cuts I really like 1 and 3. The color on 3 is perfection!

Donna Bledsoe: I love #3. I think it makes her look amazing.

Maellen Blodgett: I love #1 and 3, with 3 being my favorite I think.

Amy Caruthers: Number 3 with the warmer color - I still like the blondes as well—but definitely #3!

CocoatMidnight: Darker on her does bring out her beautiful skin tone and eyes. My pics are 2 or 3 for her which enforces her face structure. Near pic 4, she looks older.

Myra Lanctot: I prefer #1, pretty sure she won’t be cutting off too much length. With longer hair, she can wear it up also. A bit darker really does bring out her eyes. Thanks Justin, you are great and funny too.

KKO: I'd stick with a blonde lob. Once Candyce goes darker, it would take time/damage to go blonde again
