Right guys welcome back to the Regal gentleman studio uh. Today, we've got my back in the chair. How are you good morning back yeah anyway? It'S good good to have you back me. So we've uh we've talked at all right you're here, we've not we're all! We'Ve! All we've talked about, is you know how you've been in since the last? What was it five weeks six weeks about six weeks about six weeks now, yeah um? So how did you find the haircuts? I absolutely looked at me. Yeah, I loved it. It was everything I wanted. I guess, when I came in here first time and kind of reset my hair, it's kind of what we weren't for last time, didn't it yeah, but actually really liked how it fell and how it sat kind of day to day, like just going through a general. Day-To-Day hair, messiness or whatever so yeah just loved it last time um. So it all worked for a year, yeah yeah. Are we still going to go towards that transition of trying to keep the hairline Fuller? What we spoke about the original time, I wish there might be a couple of ideas. Yes, so I think we went for like a crop, didn't we yeah originally it's kind of like level it out and get it back to kind of where it should be um. So something similar where we were last time, but maybe maybe throwing a little bit of a Twist or something yeah yeah, of course yeah. Let me just grab a cone, so what I want to do is uh. I just want to check how you know Corral because, as you can see, I remember last time it was this. Was this side long you had like yeah yeah yeah, but, as you can see, it's grown out nice. You know. So I think if we were to take, do the same kind of thing, but this time around try and work on keeping that front a bit more yeah, more thicker. If you can, because you have given a good amount of time. So we just take that Fringe. Nice and short cutting through the back leave a little bit more in the corners, but just so it looks full that's the main thing compared to the first time when you came in that we needed that little bit more length here, yeah, I think it we can Make it look the same but better if that makes sense, so if you're happy with the hair, because I want to obviously keep it keep it. But just let me put the little things in there just to kind of make it a little bit more a bit more tailored to what we need to. Yes. Is that all right yeah, that sounds great cool man back inside how's yours? What do you thinking? So we did a one into a three last time, I kind of like how that sits to be fair, um, so yeah, probably that down the same route, saying that yeah cosplay yeah. We do exactly the same thing, yeah of course, um. I'M just really interested to see how this finish look because we've got so. The thing is now what I wanted to try and do now for anyone watch. Obviously, if you've seen the video of it when he first came, the idea was his hairline. Wasn'T bothering you as such? Was it you? Wouldn'T I don't think you said once it was bothering you it's just that you want to have a haircut that suited you right. I think that was right. Yeah like I'm, I'm not too precious about it. It was just kind of like it's starting to show a little bit, so how can I now have a style that kind of Suits what it is. That'S right exactly that yeah exactly that, so my idea was to grow out the old haircuts that he had by me, cutting in a more uniform shape. That was the plan right, but what I want to try and see was how thick The Fringe would go like the bit just behind The Fringe. So if we look where my fringes here, if we pull that across, as you see the recession comes to there right, but as you call bring this over, it does cover it and you can see the way the thickness it's close to the roof starts to get Here so I think if we can try and leave the corners but still balance it so we're not like just leaving like long bits of hair, so it's really noticeable. We just graduate it in shorts to the front, still have it no longer enough at the back that you can still put some product in, like I said that overgrown crop effect is what we try to achieve. I think, with that little bit of textural movements in there it will hide what we're trying to do here on the recession, but it won't go out like we're, leaving Long bits and we've got like a pattern. Yeah it will, it will be still graduated, but there were just a couple of sections that are left a bit longer right, which I think will look great. I think it's just a good way to tailor it all, but your hairline's life without trying to show off too much recession. Amazing, essentially yeah yeah, like that. Are you happy with that yeah yeah, all right cool? I can't wait to see this man. I can't wait to compare the two that'll be interesting, all right, cool man. Well, I'm going to give it um a quick wash and I'm gon na start it as my canvas all right and then we'll. Let we'll get into it right. So, as you can see, when my tears wet, it shows off where the recession is okay, so, as you can see where it's dry, it does look a lot Fuller than what it does when it's wet. That'S always good. That'S one of the reasons why I love washing hair because it can be slightly disguised if you do a dry cut um. So when the person actually washes in, you can actually manipulate it a bit easier because you know what it looks like in both uh wet and dry. That'S one of the reasons why I think it's always always really good to wet down the hair or just uh wash it if you've got the opportunity to do that as well um. But what I'm going to do on this one is I'm going to start from The Fringe and I cut the Fringe right in and then I'm gon na start at the back and connect the two: that's how I'm gon na so I'm gon na work this one Today, all right, because The Fringe for me on the circle it like, I said, Math study - isn't precious about it, but I am because I want to make it look as full as possible. That'S the whole! The aim of this haircut was to try and give Matt a nice short crop or something along the lines of that that he liked last time, and then we did speak about the Daniel Craig here quickly as well. Yes, we did think about doing that. We did. I don't know if it's going to work, though yeah. I think if you like the last haircut and it worked for you - I think, stick to that Fullerton for the time being, personally yeah, and but if you do want to try that out, we could always give that a go. But I just don't know. I think I just don't know whether the recession's a bit too high on that side. Yeah, don't worry and I think, with the Daniel Craig wallet. It almost feels like it's got to be styled throughout the whole day, whereas I quite like the idea of just just leaving it and be able to roll my hand through my hair and just mess it up as much as I I had a plan I had. I had a plan that was the this was going to be the original plan in my mind, but I just thought with the options of other things suit your hair grows out like then we can decide yeah. I always think that's one of the reasons why I'll say like a second haircut is always normally the best haircut you'll give. Somebody is because you really get to see what your haircut's going on like on that person. It'S very hard sometimes to see what your hair looks like when you still got other elements of somebody else's hair. Putting that many things you wouldn't do or you do differently to it. You know what I mean um, so yeah. I think, if you're happy with the last haircut, let me just be spoke down a bit more yeah yeah. That kind of tell you that a little bit more for what we're trying to achieve yeah cool man right. What I'm gon na do is I'm gon na create a t-section in the back, so just going to keep the crown play, even though we're going short, the crown still needs to be in play, so I'm gon na work this across, like so take a section right Down the middle part that over so this essentially you've probably seen me, do quite a number of crops essentially doing the same kind of idea. You know a layer in The Fringe, but just on a really short scale. This time, though, that's all we're going to do so. Let'S take a section just going to keep it nice and there easy going like that and that across so start, so where the hairline finishes there, I'm going to start just in the middle between that section and the front. I do want to layer this shorter. Something left it right up, elevation and cut shorter. So again, we're layering it shorter to the front a bit of a kind of traditional scissor Overcomer, okay straight across, as you can see, I'm not following the hairline keeping the comb nice and straight so again. What I do with my fingers, just on the shoulder scale, will become and this side here - let's double nice and straight now, switching Combs to a much finer comb, bring this down and I'm going to point cut just up to the hairline like so now. The whole point of when you go shorts on the front is that it creates the crop effect. Okay, it creates a shorter effect because, anytime, you shave your head. You remove The Fringe mode box, the majority of the time you do now. That'S what I want to try and do for this. I want to make it look like a crop right, but the shorter I go, the more I can keep a better length through here. I know what I'm gon na do Moses overcome, lift it up and work. It down so again we're building up that weight to the front and just free on the end there. The reason I use this comb is because again finally, the smaller the teeth and the finer, the teeth more precise, the section is, but it's also got my little section suit as well. That'S what I like, whereas my size, five count dozens, it's an all-purpose cut and come not ready for Section enough like that, as in like perfect section lift that up free on the bottom. If you want to start building up that weight, it's going to match up the corners here so try and keep it as straight as possible. So I'm following the hairline around slightly, but I'm creating where I want the hairline to finish just here. Okay, now Chrome is all the way down because we're at the point of reference, which is the hairline we cut in the bits that are left like so it's matching up to there so again, as you can probably see, I'm taking off about six weeks left really, If you think about that, that's where the length falls down to it's, probably about the amount of the amount that I'm taking off I'm using the front of the guide so start off in my section at the back just before the crown and take this lens down To basically the same kind of length, it was when my first came in then weeks ago. So just a bit longer than my fingers. My small sections, probably like, I would say, maybe a finger in width. I would say making it straight up, and I've got my guide just sitting through there to watch what I'm seeing, I'm almost not doing now, just pulling it back to the hairline. So I'm at the hairline I'm at the recession. Now, I'm straight up pull that back to the original section, but won't see too much now, because this is where the graduation will start there. We go believe in that then through here, so we'll pick that up there's the point I'm leaving okay, which is right along the recession. But again, it's not when you're doing something like this, which is more tailored you're, not going to have that perfectly uniform finish because you're having to leave length somewhere. But the last thing we're doing is leaving a comb over which is a lot of length in one long place. This is just a little bit of length just right in before the recession. That'S all it is, and as we get to that session point, we pull back okay. If anything needs to come off, it can but don't be looking for something to take off. Just pull it back to the guide main course and pull this back to the recession, which is there. This is where I put my guide in for the Clippers. Okay finish at the top, there got nice and straight. This is what I use to cut in stance on my low one, starting at the three. This shows me a head shape, what we're trying to create - and it shows you where to start my Clipper. Whatever is one sections nice and close straight off, there's the guy that I'm working again, keeping them sections nice and tight with two guides now go on from the right and one through the actual section from the previous section with cotton. So there's one guy there and there's a guy next to right, I'm at recession. Now this section comes back like so into that section of that line. You can see just there a little line. That'S all we're working towards nice and straight and see my fingers are parallel to the sides. I'Ve got the guide at the top onto that. Now, I'm going to comb this out on the crown, bring it down blast it off. Here we go and then what we do now is we fine tune? Is we comb it out and we fine tune it, so I want to take that that front down here bring this up through my fingers. I'M gon na point cut I'm gon na thin. This little bit out now as well, that section up that we left before on point cutting and just raise my fingers up slightly as we go very slightly on the ends same here. In that section, we left just crinkle very slightly as well just to get a very natural finish, all right. We'Ve gotten to the end like this, I'm just going to slide my little points, I'm just going to cut that down a touch and just looking for the mix that I feel out of place, the texture to the back now. So I'm gon na lift this up and cut it in at the root. I think, like me, just like a little bit of movement too. There'S a great technique this if you've got very short cropped hair, which is about maybe a finger and then you're cutting out the wrist. It actually grows up nicely. It thins the hair out. It also gives you movements. Now we've got a little blast off a bit of cold air. That'S it and then start with the paint with the back and sides from a three into a one. Okay, so three on first don't forget: we've got our guy from the right hand, side right! That'S what I'm gon na do so, I'm gon na start the right hand, side and work that lower down three guard on lever down a beer is where I cut a two before that's through my fingers, get underneath, which we haven't put it yet. So I'm gon na wipe it up and off to this guide here: okay, um, I'm gon na drop it down around here. That'S there's your Silver Bow and there's where it sits flat. Okay, I'm gon na drop this down and keep that Crown in play. So muscle your air, do you get any good feedback? Any good comments from the last haircuts? Well, since I've been in London anyway, there's been lots of uh kind of just haircuts from different places, trying places out yeah, but lots of good feedback on this. On our last haircut, yeah man and, more importantly, you loved it as well yeah yeah. Do you know what honestly it was? That was the best thing about it. Like I genuinely felt like a I, I have a lot more confidence. Uh, that's good! Just that kind of, like you, you know what you know when I come home from work and I look in the mirror and I'm not like, oh god, I've just got this mop on my head or whatever it is like. I actually come over and be like. Oh, like my hair's, lasted the day and yeah yeah. Honestly, it was a it's a really good haircut last time. Thank you thanks man. Thank you, um. What product were you wearing your hair? What were you using uh wait? No, it doesn't have to be a particular brand, but what type of soil were you wearing? I used to use like salt spray, yeah um, but then I've used like this powder stuff, recently cool um kind of like a white powder that you like it almost built. Almost a bit like a clay when you rub it into your hands right, yeah yeah! I because I felt like the salt spray was a little bit a little bit better on the longer hair, yeah um. But this kind of this - I guess like Dusty clay kind of thing I felt - was much better in my uh. It is shorter, hair. Okay, that's good! Yeah yeah! I thought the salt spray gave it a bit of a wet look but a wet look on short hair. Doesn'T no, I don't know it wasn't it wasn't really me, I guess. Well, I mean if you, if you think about the very start after we there after we've washed it, we used to see the difference in your hair when it's wet right yeah. So anyone any, I think I think that's a really good bit of advice. Actually, if I think anyone who's who has a similar hairline to yourself or has the same kind of texture, opt them for a more drier, more matte finish. Yes, it's definitely I mean you know. You said it yourself, it's something that I think as Barbers would be saying for a long time. It'S wet locks, don't always work when you've got a slight recession, if you're wearing it forwards. But if you've got like a matte finish like especially with the powders that are on the market, now, there's so many good ones, um that you know creates that such a mass effect - and it looks it literally, looks like you've got nothing in your hair whatsoever. Um. That'S ideal for this. I think I used a powder on your last standing there, yeah yeah, I'm glad that you got the confidence from the haircut, because you know it isn't necessarily a trend haircut. You know it's not something. A lot of guys nowadays are growing their hair. You know, I would advise you against growing your hair, but doesn't mean you don't have to be on Trend. You know it doesn't have to feel as though you can't have a trendy haircut. You know 100 and I think ultimately, like your hair is kind of the one part of your your outfit. If you will that you don't have any control over where like how it grows or ultimately, like you know, it's your Barber that cuts it. You know it's not like you get to put Faith in someone else yeah exactly so I think, having that I mean like after after last time here you know I. I totally trust what you're doing and being able to trust your Barber and have that conversation with them. Ultimately, I feel like will lead to a better cut, which will you know in turn, give you more confidence when, when you're leaving the house or whatever it might be, couldn't say the better myself. Did you um? You know when you say it give your comfort and stuff, like you know, if you ever had a haircut where you've walked out you've just felt like I don't want to go out anymore. I don't want to go. You know, I don't want to go away. I don't want to go out and you can invite to a night out and you can't I don't want to go. You know about that feeling exactly so I went. I went to UNI in Leeds um and uh. I was just typical unilad kind of a very lazy whatever, and I had my mates, uh 21st birthday party in in Sheffield. So I thought you know what actually like I'll go, get a cut today, um and I've went to this went to this like local place and uh like in in High Park and uh. Honestly, the Latin air is giving me like a three for one. Like I had like three different styles of Courts. I had like mullet on the back burners on the front. Like short honestly, it was, it was so I would say some could argue that you could have been a trendsetter uh. You know what somebody said that, but I think, but maybe not to you not to me and yeah. I didn't I didn't go. I didn't go to the uh, the 21st. You know, then you go. No! No honestly, I couldn't like I wore a hat for about four months. Like I worked, I worked in retail so like fortunately yeah but yeah like uh, not loads, but that one always sticks to my mind kind of like I remember I came back home and, like my mates, what I lived with like they didn't even laugh. Didn'T he you know where it's that bad day they just kind of felt sorry for me, yeah um, but yeah like a good haircut, will uh will make you feel great 100. I I've experienced that as well. Oh yeah, yeah yeah. I I've got two two interesting times one one. I did myself when I when I brought on myself and one at one that got brought up on me, so the first one which you know I will openly admit on camera, that I made a mistake. But thankfully it was on myself right and it was two thousand and oh yeah um, and I was I was I just I think it was. It was a Christmas party of the new salon that I went to working right, and this was this was before, like for your Shavers, were really really popular yeah in like sort of like mainstream Ballroom like because it was definitely you know. Skin Fades were still in, but it was never really down to like actual like Cut Throat or or or or foil. It was just like it was never razor. You know it was mainly just um mini trimmers or mini Clippers, as you call them on um. I was I I was trying to sort of edge up my my haircuts, because I had. I basically had like a three and two or one right yeah and I was trying to be a bit more edgy. I decided to put two lines into my fringe. Look right: oh nice, oh yeah, nice yeah. Why did you say that the idea was that it was meant to be nice right, so I got my Minis and the problem was me just being again a bit in a rush. You know not really thinking found. I I was just it was a bit of an impulsive thing to do right, so this place I worked in was really cool. Everyone was really like quite funky, and you know everyone had a really creative haircut and I I just had a ball in all three and so one, which I thought in my mind. I found an old pair of like cord everything was pretty much core, that's still limbo. I found an old pair of corded, minis mini Clippers right. Think to myself wonder why I haven't got these in in the shop. Why have I buy these in my drawer? In my bedroom right still living at home, you know why these, why are these there? So I got them out. It'S a God. I just got them in a way: boom. Boom boom boom boom boom right and then just kind of put them in move them kind of left and right, a little bit scrape them sort of you know forwards and back to get the lines really sharp. Oh, they look quite cool mate. Wasn'T I mean if you don't see your hair and it wasn't like the look that was like wow, I said I'll just put a couple of lines in it went what I'm with a knife. I said no hit me Minis and I look as I got out. I was, I was feeling that I couldn't feel nothing didn't have like. You know, camera phone, nothing to show each other like that. I was like I just looked in there, the the wing mirror. I just looked like that and I cut myself so I had two scratches all the way along, so you couldn't even see the lines ready. Just so just like you, and obviously there was a tooth missing on the on the minis or they were you in a line properly because I mean thrown in the drawer. I just caught myself. The second one was uh. I I went in. I I reached out on my Instagram years and years and years ago before insta was anything you know like it is today and um I reached out, because I was in it. I was in an area and I needed a haircut and I didn't know anyone in the area. So I reached out and said: hey guys, is anyone free on? I don't know whatever day it was to to cut my hair. I had a couple of Barbers reached back to me. I was like yeah yeah sure I know looked at this one guys and he he and he he was like yeah, I'm free, I'm only around the corner. I was like, oh amazing, so I am. I went in and we got talking and you know it was a lovely laugh really nice, guy and um still friends to this day actually funny enough. I'D be probably have my hair the length. It is now right and I was growing it right. I'M we were just catching up, you know just general chitchat and I wasn't paying attention I'll be honest. I was looking around. I wasn't really paying attention. I was listening to him, but I was looking at the shop and I just had the old. If anyone watching right the old sound of the classic car that super tape at that it was like, I've always made a big kind of Pop, where the magnets were getting going right, still didn't think anything of it right. This sounds these sound lovely comparison. This is like listens like a Ducati compared to, like I don't know, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah and um, and before I realized it, he just went up the sides on the zero right up the sides. That'S exactly what the guy done. Oh no - and I mean me just me just being I don't know whether they want to call it English, British, whatever I didn't say nothing just accepted it, yeah no just accepted it. So I just left in Surrey. We never once had a single discussion of how my hair is getting cut, not once I told them now. Obviously we had you know we had a. We had a a catch up and I did sell that you know you never ever asked me about my hair and he's like didn't I, and it was a genuine mistake because we just had to we were asking even asked any questions. Just got started but didn't ask right. He just assumed that, on a picture of me that I posted on Instagram, that was the haircut she totally assumed yeah. I just didn't, have the heart to say anything because you know it's, it's not a nice. It'S not a nice conversation to have when you, you know, if you someone's not happy with something that you might have put a lot of effort in I mean we've all had it like. I'M sure any Barber here just watching this now we've all put - are all into a hair. Cutting the clients gone uh. All right thanks anyway, always doesn't sound very happy about that. So I'm just going to finish this off now with a bit of scissor Overcoat. Look back inside just allow me to graduate this and perfect the Clipper overcome just make sure we get any darker bits or anything. That'S all. So I always feel the second haircut is the most important haircut, because you you know, most people will come into a shop with somebody else's haircut, and that is that is a very good reason to tell people that it isn't going to look as good as you Wanted to - or it might not look as perfect as you want it to be thought it's this airport now there's no excuses. Now. Okay, let's come back this haircut, my haircut's grown out. So what what excuse do I have now right so last but not least crown so everything's cut in sheep's. There consist, I feel, like the consistency I feel, like The Fringe looks a lot better. Now you set it up like that. It definitely looks a lot more. Full than the first time around we will see on the before and after photo pull it across from the right hand, side switch crowns there, I'm going to pull it just one section before when I pull it over to where the blend started. Right, there's a tiny little peek just there like that, I'm going to pull it from before the crown and pull it out and again it's time that'll be now. This just starts to connect it into the size without cotton across the crown. Okay use the crown as our first section point, and we go forwards like that, and then we need it forwards again. The battle on this day to help the crown sit soft, but again we're not we're not doing this. We'Re not taking that off. Yet there's a guide there so I'll take that off, pull it out and just point cut into that thicker bit there like she's got a bit of stiff mat. I could get a nice bit of stick right. I think I need to address it. Keep giving me. Stick: I'm not doing beads right, oh yeah, yours in particular. It would look brilliant if the beard was tidied up right now. The reason I can't do the beard, because we don't have the time. It'S the only reason why we don't do the beard, but what I'll do today is? Would you like me just to shape it a bit and just make it look a bit neater yeah? If you can do it, yeah just bow to the pressure. The pressure of the negativity thanks guys I'll just type this up a little bit, but no that's what that's the reason why I think we are now we're now before now we're full time in the studio, and we can start to do a lot more of that. So again, it's just going to be a bit of a progression into like being able to do a bit more with the time we've got, because what you start, what used to happen, anyone watching there's that we never used to work in the same studio. So me and me Liam and Josh were completely separate, so we had a studio that we used to just do the filming on. But the problem was: is that we couldn't do all of the we? Don'T we only be able to film on certain days. So when you see like, for example, like um, you know I've got the same t-shirts on for like nine weeks. It'S not because I've only got one t-shirt. It'S because we film it over the course, because I had a couple of people saying like. Why is it always wear the same t-shirt? It'S just because it's filmed on the same day. That'S the reason why, just in case anyone was ever wondering right, I do own more than one the magic of film, The Magic of film yeah exactly right. So I will add that to it just that uh that you did actually give me advice on what to do with my beard as well, and I am someone who enjoys doing my own beard as well. Okay. Well, there we go yeah, I'm choosing the one just to blend that down which sort of evacuates nicely into the length. Much already got it as well. Is it like juice juice like have you got like a full set of like Clippers yeah I've got Clippers with different different heads on and all sorts. It'S always been something that uh with my hair. Obviously I can't do it myself because I well, I say. Obviously, you know it's not someone I've ever people do do the yeah yeah, but at least with a beard. I'Ve always thought like, because you can see it like. I can always give it a good go myself, yeah. Definitely so a little bit of powder to finish off with what you've been using, so only a little bit just to give a little bit of movements. Okay, good thing is: you can't really overload your hair with a powder, because you see it coming out right, you're kind of in charge of you do a scoop of a product, especially when you've got on your hair is a little bit fine. If you do a big scoop, is it like a 5p or a 10p and use a bit too much? So it's instant, then isn't it where it's like with a powder because you're sprinkling it over it's quite hard to do. Use too much so start off in the crown foreign just to work on that Fringe there now I'm gon na put a little bit of hard in my hands. I'M gon na finish off through here comb in the front and then all the way down everyone else makes because when you look straight on, you can see you've got more of a shadow through the front again. This is probably only a better and better and better than what you're doing nothing amazing yeah. I love it thanks nice, color, yeah, yeah playing shortcrop, but you've got that kind of again that overgrown sort of shave head look that we did last time ago, but just a bit more formless now, for the other one yeah, it's a great one yeah. Thank you. Thank you so much. Oh

Regal Gentleman: Now that we have the new studio and are able to film more regularly, would you like to see more content with people coming back and getting a 2nd, 3rd, 4th haircut with us just like Matt did?

Steve Parish: I love doing cuts like this as the result gives the client a massive boost in confidence - also seeing someone do things the same way as you is so reassuring!

Robb McDonnell: I'm a barber stylist in the states. Love watching the discussions and techniques shown in our profession. Your videos are great watched over a year. Your looking awesome! You've gotta be thrilled of your weight loss Stud. Keep up your excellence with everything!

B4s3MXxD: I have essentially the same recession as Matt and I've been scouring YouTube for a couple of years trying to find ideas for what styles might be possible while jumping on finasteride and minoxidil to save what's left. My barber has given me basically the same style. So it's nice to know he's done the best with what's available to him. A lot of people would say to just shave it. But I enjoy going to my barber and I'm not ready to give up that ritual. Going bald isn't just about losing your hair. Nobody ever prepares you for the fact you'll start losing some of life's simple pleasures like going to the barber. Going to the barber is about the only beauty pampering a lot of men, including myself, do. So it's nice to have stylish and honest options to keep that ritual up. Are there any other variations on this style for this type of recession that you could suggest to change things up from time to time?

Kiran Kalshoven: Nice cut Dan! I’ve been watching your videos for a while now as they’re very satisfying. I’ve also been subconsciously taking on your advice with hair cutting techniques and gave a family friend a banging haircut today; he was very pleased with it and wants me to cut his hair more often. Thanks for the great content

martin vegas: I hope he keeps coming back. Be good to see the different haircuts he gets as he gradually gets thinner

Amessad: YOU are a genius my friend!!!! Everyone is an artist until they have to do a receding hairline.... :)

Adrian Gomez: You amaze me every single time Dan!! you’re absolutely amazing at this craft!! Thanks a lot for this content

Colonel Kurtz: Matt looks like he's ready to fight in the Colosseum, definitely giving me the Russel Crowe Gladiator vibes because of his beard and hair style. Always a great look, brilliant cut as usual by Dan the Man

bootsy chootsy: I have the same recession and I just buzzed it all off. Best decision I ever made. I was trying to hide from the recession.

Chris K: Wow, Dan’s getting shredded! Such a difference to the last video I watched a few months back!

Chris B: Amazing cut as always . I'm looking to book a cut in soon as I don't think I've ever had a cut that I've liked and I know you'll do a great job

wabdih: well done. I can see how it will improve even more on the next cut

Lemons: Fantastic haircut. But may I ask about the decision of leaving the under part of the neck unshaven? Does the straight line from the back of the jaw going down not look a little weird?

movingstill: Great work men! Videos are great, good angles, etc. Still, the sound is to loud and punchy, it seems that your lavaliers are set at the maximum volume, both transmiter (TX) and receiver(RX). In your filming scenario you should have the transmiter set to the lowest volume level and the receiver on camera at the highest.. This is when you record voice with any wireless system. It's called "close microphone". On the other hand when you record nature sounds, the sound being farther away, you should do the opposite, the TX on highest volume level and the RX on lowest volume setting, called "open microphone". Just try that and you're videos will be more professional all arround. Thanks for your excelent work!

Onur Degirmenci: Good Lord! Dan, you looked like a cosy Dad before but now you’re like an elite football player mate! Other than that, you’re still the best educator and fun person to listen to man. Thank you as always!

Lee Brown: My husband's hair is very similar to this client's. Totally love this!!

Lisa Norris: Brilliant looks great, nice communication between client and Dan, gets results.

Jeff B.: Best hair channel on YouTube. Covers everything and style.

Jordan H.: Barber right here, second haircut is cleaner than first. Great knowledge

6orphan9: why is everyone like "SHAVE IT OFF" these days just because a bit of receding? shave your hair just because you don't have a hairline like you did when you were 12? I don't get it. this man still has hair and a few good years with it before he has to think about buzzing it off.

V8 Hungry: Hi Dan Ace job! What styling powder do you use? I’m gonna have to come to London and get you to sort my hairline out!

Leigh: I'm not a fan of this style but the important thing is that he likes it

GARETH HUGHES: Personally would have kept the remaining hair on the recession sides longer slightly and taken more off the sides with a higher fade. I reckon wouldn't have looked fuller at the front. Just my professional opinion, of course, and a great cut.

Shredder: My hair is going like this at the corners. Would you think a French crop is good to hide the receding bit.

Cacique Biz: If you take the fade up higher it makes the top look fuller. That’s been my experience.

John Ridpeath: Great job, whats the powder your using?

Blayne: Nice! A lot of guys will benefit from this one.

The Charlton Family: Bro your crown is still strong just hop on Finasteride and oral minoxidil. Stabilize/regrow for a year and then get a solid frontal 2500 FUE. You can save this but you must act now!

J C: What’s your thoughts on the men’s hair replacements

daniel bryan: The barber has amazing hair

JLchels: Dan, brilliant as always mate who does your hair? If i was to go to my barbers what would i ask if i wanted similar to what you've got

plechaim: Getting a bit of distortion from the mics, maybe turn the levels down? Love your work though and your new hair style with the quiff/slick back looks great. What would I ask my barber for for your style?

m k: holy dan lost weight! looks amazing

terratec1001: Fantastic haircut. Matt is a handsome man!

Cesar Morales: @regalgentleman super dope videos could you also show hair washes for more tips on that also? Thanks again from states

Islamic Salami: That barber has the best hair ever. I'm jealous

88Zero: Dan's hairline is still perfect, whats the secret? :)

Marcin K: Perfect job!!! -Greetings from Poland

N: I think a buzzcut is also a good haircut with such receding hairline

willbe939: Dan…you need to go on a world tour because when you get to Canada my receding hairline really needs you! Please!

kiely 456: Dan off to a party looking like he’d been attacked by wolverine was brilliant

K Wave: Amazing Job

D A: I genuinely think this gent should consider a hair transplant, he would definitely not regret it. If you’re reading this right now, feel free to get in touch, I’ve had one and it’s a massive confidence boost.

Elizabeth Jarvis: Great cut, guy looks v handsome with style and beard trim

asdf: Hey, bro if you're reading this. Invest in a microneedling pen and give yourself weekly treatments. Combine that with daily application of minoxidil and finasteride and your hairline will become noticeably more robust in four weeks time.

BigMo: The best haircut and style for a receding hairline is to shave that shit off and embrace the bald head. I wish barbers would just help balding and thinning clients take the step to shaving it all off.

L B: Bravo , trovare soluzioni per chi aimè non ha più i capelli di una volta .Lo trovo molto professionale

Russ Haight: I really like that polo-where'd you get it?

Gem Schaeffer: Perfect

Secret C: i feel like it looked better before the cut. still looked good tho.

Roxanne Monson: Is this an older video or did he lose a ton of weight??

Steve Steele: Also, wow on losing the weight.

joe barrios: if anyone in st louis mo can do this please let me know

chris sanz: Matt reminds me of me, and I would say go to turkey get your hair done mate

Genesis1: What is that powder he using?

Tina Collins: He should buy that spray to cover his hair and scalp it brown and it’s good

Gene Tierney: Handsome guy.

John Bartholomew: Looks like he has good donor hair in the back for multiple hair transplant.

Master of None: When your beard gain is that good just go bald and be done with the faff surely.

pham tai: Dan, please could you tell how to lose weight efficiently?

L AV: Went from a single dude who likes to surf on his days off to divorced with 3 kids with a boatload of credit card debt.

GHMR: My advice, as someone who lost their hair fairly young; get ahead of it and shave it off.

BLUEKNIGHT: Just shave it bro! Let it go

DJ FRESH: Man has no hair in the front and barber still proceeeds to cut of hair in the front smh haha fail... mans holding back tears

mcloving111: Buzz it bro

Leandro Teacher English Warrior: El tipo está re pelado ya

Billy: Just have hair instead

Nicola Giampellegrini: Nilo bellik haircut

Veryslow10r80: At this point just go bald.

TheUndismayed: He should just shave it at this point, bald head with a beard looks good

Theresa Tran: Like your channel but your cameraman needs work. Moves too much and not centering the cut. Takes away from the video.

mel grant: Just shave it off looks better

Warsztat Fryzur Męskich Barbershop: sound is crap, take down the volume on dji settings

Don Tump: beautician sounds smart until he runs out of stuff to say then he starts mumbling a bunch of european jargon

Basement Dweller: Just shave it off. It's gone dude.

Made in Italy ASMR Official: Time to go bald mate

BeautyofScent: this barber talks too much
