Hello, everyone welcome to our YouTube channel blonde hair and curls today I'll be teaching you how to do a rainbow candy cane style. This is the color that enola chose for her candy canes today. I hope you guys like them. This is perfect for the holiday season, so let's get this video started. I already did my 4 parted lines because we're gon na get some other parted lines out of these 4 parted lines. So with this first one, we're gon na do kind of like a brown oval shape type deal, so we can get the candy cane top part started. Then the back part will just come straight down following the line from the top part of the campaign and then, with this extra piece of hair, we're going to just tie that in a rubber band, then we're gon na gather all the hair, and we want the Part to look like kind of kind of like a half heart shape, we'll be doing this same thing on the left side. Now we have them both done so we'll begin our braiding. What we're gon na be doing here is a Dutch lace, braid, meaning we will be braiding under you want to take small sections and, while you're adding the hair into the braid, you want to pull the braid tight, not tight to where it's tight in their head, Because it may cause a little bit of discomfort, but you want the braid tight, so it'll look neat and by doing a late lace, Dutch braid, it means we're only taking hair from one side adding in and then braiding over, and you just keep repeating these steps Until we get all the way down to where we parted out the hair, let's be finish off with the braid, we're gon na add an elastic rubber band to it so it'll hold. While we do the other side, I'm gon na go ahead and put this side of the hair in the elastic rubber band. That way, it'll already be done, while we're working on the other side and we're going to do the same thing over here. Taking only small sections for our braids and pulling tight while we braid, you also want to follow the line that you did and that'll give you the candy-cane. Look, you don't want to just braid straight up you so now we're gon na measure our ribbon and I have a rainbow colored ribbon. So you want to measure it to the braid and then a little bit extra. It says we're gon na be sewing it in. We want to have some extra ribbon on one end. You want to tie a knot and then, on the other end, we're gon na put it into this plastic. Needle that I have this ribbon is a little thick, so I have to really work it through, but now we'll begin the sewing and we want to sew an upward cuz. Then that'll give us like the candy-cane look not pulling the ribbon too tight, because then it'll pull on the braid and we'll lose her candy cane shape. We'Re gon na continue doing this until we get all the way to the end of our braid you once we get to the end of the braid with the ribbon, then we'll add an elastic rubberband, the color of the ribbon, to keep it in place and then We'Re gon na do this same thing. On the other side, I cut one piece of my ribbon too small, so you know Lola wanted it to play with, and I was like sure why not and we're doing the same thing here, just braiding upwards and then once you get to the top, you want To braid downward, as if you braid straight across then the ribbon just keeps going in the same, and that's not what we want, and we did the same thing here with an elastic rubber band, the same color up there ribbon. We tie it and that's our look. Now, on the bottom ponytails, I was thinking about doing a braid, but then I was like no I'll just leave it down curly, because I love Anolis curls, so I just add a little bit of water, so it doesn't look too dry and then we do the Same thing to the other side, but if you guys want you can leave it.
