Hello, welcome to Anjurisa channel In this video I'll. Show you how to make Christmas-inspired headband. You can use any fabric for this headband. I use cotton in this video. You can also use velvet fabric, like I did for this headband. I love the smooth and rich texture of the velvet fabric, So it's really up to you whatever you want for your headband Since I'm making this headband for Christmas, I use red color. We will make the elastic part fold the fabric in half and sew this part After this turn the fabric inside out, I use a loop turner. You can also use a safety. Pin, Prepare an 8 inch elastic band. You can use any size for the width just make sure it fits into the fabric So insert the elastic band into the fabric. I still use this loop turner Secure the elastic by sewing. This part Put the elastic piece aside, Prepare another fabric for the headband. I use fur fabric simply because this is for Christmas. I really love the texture, Then prepare another smaller fabric, and, yes, I use red color, Because these fabrics are not at the same width, I'll sew, both edges together After sewing this part sew the other end, one more time I'll show you how it looks after we Turn the fabric over Turn the fabric inside out and I'll sew, a straight line right on the white side of the fabric to hold the fabric in place. You can barely see the sewing thread if we sew it right over the white fabric. Next, I want to make the perfect crease for the center so fold the fabric in half to mark the center Fold, the fabric back and forth, to make the perfect creased. I always do this trick for every bow that I make Secure it with sewing thread. Next prepare a fabric for the center. You can use black color or even gold color for your Christmas headband Turn the fabric inside out Make the center bow by folding it this way because of the black color, it's not too visible. I guess So. You can skip this part and sew it straight onto your headband Shift, your needle over to the left, so that it goes really tight next to the fabric, Cut of the excess fabric and turn the center piece over To finish, the headband attach the elastic we made At the beginning, I'll refer this as the wrong side, and this as the right side With the right sides facing the headband attach the elastic, pin it Don't let your elastic get twisted. Do the same on the other side. Sew this one last time Cut off excess fabric turn it over and our Christmas headband is finished Thanks for watching this tutorial I'll see you next time.
