Let me know what you want to see in the next video right. Today'S video is going to be all about perms perms, but not permsa. You know perms of how they're going to be so. Everyone knows perms from like the movie, greece. Greece was all about little tight perms with the little thing wrapped around and yeah looked very old school, but right now we've got celebrities like cara, delevingne, jennifer lopez, all rocking a perm, and it is probably one of the breakout things. That'S going to happen for 2021 into 2022.. Perms are officially back. My good friend, david murray did a live demonstration over on joyco europe's instagram page. It'S still there. If you want to check it out, link will be down in the description and you can see how we did it. He did. I think it was three four perms tell me what it was now, but he used bendy's and he used rollers, but not like. We used to not like back to back little small rollers. He used it for more for style for just body, and it just looks super cool, so i'll link right down below i'll, probably put some some some of the video in here as well. Just show you what he did, but yeah joyco do some incredible perms. So i think they do three and alkaline and acid and then another one which is even softer, but they all have the quadrant complex in which is the product which the ingredient, the lifesaver. The light at the end of the tunnel for all people with damaged hair, it looks after your hair makes your hair incredibly beautiful, incredibly healthy, and it will just give you life of your hair. If your hair is tired a little bit, what should we say? Broken damaged dry, you need k-pack in your life, so a four-step treatment in the salon would be highly recommended before the perms, because that will completely reconstruct your hair from inside out all the way through making. It feel and look like you've got virgin hair again. It is amazing we do it in our salon. Every joycon salon will do it best treatment, best treatment, hands down, so we're gon na get into it. Perms have been around forever and they're very stinky or were very stinky, but they've changed a bit. There'S still some out there, which smell the same joyco's fragrance, is a little bit kinder. It'S not. It doesn't smell like the old school perms, but the big the biggest thing about them is that they look after your hair and you don't get all that damage and breakage that old school perms used to get and david said on the live. He was like. We used to perm on top of perm on top of perm, whereas if we think technically now, we'd never bleach on top of a bleach on top of bleach. So things have come a long way when it comes to how we actually execute what we're going to do and permin is no different. So, let's get into a little bit of inspiration of what's going on in the world of permanent i'll, put some pictures up to inspire you and just to let you know that perms are back for 2021 and there's a difference. The way that david put them in root drag because back back in the day we didn't they didn't want root, drag. They wanted big, big jackson, five hair. But now nobody wants that big jackson, five! They want that sort of sleekness, but then that wave, the sort of beachiness that that people are just sort of lusting over right now and there's a way of doing it with perms. So i'll show you some of the video that david did i'll, show you some pictures of inspiration, so you can screenshot them, take them to your stylist and hopefully they'll be able to give you these super uber cool perms. So, given today's trend, you might think that the curly perm is best reserved for your mum, but you'd be mistaken. They look better than ever before for straight hair types. Looking for natural, looking texture without wielding a wand every single morning, the solutions that we use now for permanent to activate the curl are less harsh and and we can modify them for the results to be a little bit more modern. So the results of a curly, perm or a body wave can be the difference between straight hair and beach waves that you don't have to braid, scrunch or singe, with heat to achieve, essentially, a body wave perm works by chemically altering straight hair to create natural. Looking curls, if you have straight final, limp hair that doesn't hold a natural wave you're, a perfect candidate for a perm, so looking at these perms, if you've got. If you want that sort of fuller, bouncier hair, then a perm is perfect for you, but you have to understand that if you've got bleach in your hair, if you've got chemicals on your hair, then we have to do strand tests. We have to compatibility tests and your hair might not be able to have it for technical reasons, because it might break off or anything like that. But a hair stylist will talk you through all of this and give you the the ideas moving forward of how you can achieve it. So don't don't be disheartened thinking, oh, i can't have it because i've got bleached hair. Like i said with the joyco perms, we have kpak in there my quadrant complex, and we have one that's really kind for colour treated hair. So it could be one day so to prep the hair. What we recommend is to be in a joyco salon is to use our four-step hair repair system. So first step is a clarifying shampoo. This will just make sure that all of the oils existing product build up anything like that is just removed from the hair. So you've got a real nice clean base to work with. Then we look at the cuticle sealer, which then slams the cuticle shut, making sure that it sits nice and smooth and it locks in all the goodness. We'Ve then got a penetrating conditioner, which is incredible. I think it's won best best professional treatment for the past 16 17 years. So it is amazing and what they'll do is penetrate into your hair and reconstruct it and fill all the gaps within your hair up to make it stronger. And then we move on to the last one which is hydrating and what that will do is again penetrate through the hair and just add that that moisture, that your hair needs to make it feel nice and healthy. So that's what we do when we do that and then what we do is. We would then work towards wrapping your hair around the rods, the benders, the rollers, whatever we want to use to create a really nice curl, we can use, because the actual magic is the perm solution. The perm solution is that part that creates the reaction within the hair to create the curl and then obviously we neutralize, and then we take the rods out and then we have the finished look. But then that is the part where another consultation would be to talk about aftercare, how you're going to style it. But we would show you exactly what you would do to maintain your newly burned hair, so yeah perms are coming back, make sure you're on the bandwagon.
