Hey MalPals, join me as I show you how to get the perfect beach WAVES FOR SHORT HAIR! I recently had to chop off 7" of my hair and get a bob haircut to manage some hair loss I've been experiencing, and I have been having fun discovering my favorite ways to style it! And I think I've really got the groove now!

Look how cute hi mal Belle's a new pals today's video first off, I do have wax on the front or my races on the autumn. So it looks gross I'm sorry, but my mouth is shredded and I don't think you want blood coming out of my mouth as I'm talking anyway. Today'S video is on how I'm styling my new haircut, honest truth. This is the first time I have styled this since I got it cut afterwards. I just kind of let it air-dry one day and that's the way it is so I'm a little nervous, I'm not quite sure like what my favorite thing is to do yet, but I actually just kind of like a blowout. I mean I really like this, but I want to see if I like waves. So today, I'm gon na use my t3 with a one-inch attachment and we are gon na create some waves. Recently, if you watch me, you know a lot of my hair fell out. After I got my tube side and got off birth control, so it was just looking very fine and it was just so depressing. I'M excited for this new short hair journey, because I love making hair videos. So there's that so I feel like my hair is short enough to just start picking up sections. So that's what we're gon na do. First, I'm gon na brush it out a little round brush or at the back. So I really like that Bend! Look. I don't really want, like full-on waves, so like to the bottom, so I'm just gon na bend it once. Oh, my gosh, that's like all of my hair just hold for a few seconds and release. I have not had short hair like this, since I was like 23 and that was eight years ago. I just remember. I never really did anything at the bottom cuz my hair, naturally kind of curls, so I don't want to have to put heat on a part of my hair. If I don't have to I'm just gon na kind of go through, you know, I'm just stopping at. Like mid shaft and then releasing so, I could actually probably section into two sections with this. But you know since that shorter hair, if it takes less time just let it take less time and that's what I like to do. Even when I had longer hair like pull down on a wave, if it's too curled, I'm just gon na barely do the front pieces because I do want them a little bit longer. My hair, though you can watch my first hair loss video. I will link that below my hair is very healthy. I'Ve kept my hair very healthy. It was just how thin and fine it is making it look so stringy and I'm just not about that so and I'm just gon na do like a long bend and then release cuz. I really want that longer. Look in the front and by the way I only turn it up to the three dots. I wonder since I don't have longer hair, if I could do two, the two dot because shorter hair, it looks fine if it's like a little looser. Oh I'm just gon na start in the back over here, like I said, I'm just doing one turn with this. I watched like a lot of videos on how girls, with short hair, like this style it with a straightener, but I really wanted to do a curling iron first, because I'm not the best at creating waves of the straightener. But I feel like, since my hair is shorter, it might be easier, I'm not sure we will find out and if I find a method that I like, I will of course share it with you guys just once here and release and also the cut that I Got is just basically it's a classic bob, so it is tapered towards the front a little layered in the back. Nothing crazy! I think the key is going to be doing two sections towards the front, not necessarily towards the back, because it is so much shorter in the back. So I can get that kind of wave look and since hair you kind of tend to spend more time around. On it, when you're stuck heat styling it with heat, it is more important to kind of let go a little sooner than your back of your hair. It'S just naturally what we tend to do so again, I'm making like the hair. That'S wrapping around it's not as tight around the barrel around the front, it's more of just in kind of a long like it's in long gated. If that makes sense - and it's not curled all the way around and then I'm just going to take this back section here and I'm gon na keep the clip open and just kind of give it a little volume like that, but see like underneath. This is actually like my natural curl and if I were trying to curl that with a curling iron, oh my god, I would burn the crap out of my freaking neck. So I would say if you don't have natural curl and you do need to add some heat to that, I would do it with a flat iron and kind of flip it up. I'M gon na let these curls cool and then I'm gon na go in with my styling products. I already really like the way my hair is looking like this right now. I can't wait to separate these waves. Okay, I feel like these have told enough. I'Ve really been liking before I even got my hair cut to separate my curls and waves with a pick comb. Oh yes, girl! This is what I wanted. This is what I wanted it to be see how it's just like a really cute Bend. Oh my god. It'S just like all the hair styles and haircuts I see on Pinterest, but I'm always like too scared to get my hair cut like this. Look at that. Okay, now for hair styling products I am going to, even though I really like the way. This looks without the hair. Styling products actually come on March. Okay, I'm using the iron coat trophy texture and shine spray. I love iron Co products, especially with shorter hair. I just feel like you can have more with hair products when your hair is shorter, because they just do so many different things. This gives you shine and texture, and it smells so amazing it's so I forget what their what scent this is their. I don't know they have different scents like I have the vicious hairspray and that's a different scent than this one, we're all. Oh, yes, mm-hmm. Okay, I could probably go overboard with that too. Just spray my hair down, you know what I should probably by now that I have short hair is hair. Pomade well blend bubble, make some great ones I might have to oops just go to Sephora okay, so I'm gon na use my multi. I go in cycles, but my all-time favorite hairspray is the Kevin Murphy session spray. You guys know this. If you followed me for any amount of time, it's just so perfect for actually holding your style and then also not letting it fall and not letting it get. Crunchy feeling look how cute and to finish off everything I'm going to use my Kevin Murphy shimmer me blonde. They have a golden one too, but since I have blonder hair, I'm using the purple one, but instead of spraying it directly on this is what I like to do, which I've talked about on my channel before. Is I like to spray it in my hand and warm it up and just go through the ends to soften the ends, love this product for shine. So that's how I use it. Yes, freakin amazing. I love the way I just styled my hair, I wan na wear it down and I love it. I hope that you guys liked this tutorial is the first time I've styled it myself, and I am feeling pretty confident in the products I already own, and I am really glad that I don't have to buy a smaller barrel. Curling iron, who took this tutorial slash test of my new hair. This test run was helpful in fun. I thought I was gon na be like sad and regretting it, and no. I was at a point where I was like get this hair off my head. I decided to chop it all off because it was so stringy and fine and i hated it. I was so sad about cutting it but I knew I had to. I cut 15" off and cut it into a Bob. Monkey Business: Hey, just watched an old vid of yours about quiting CG method. But I still wanted to give you a tip:I have (almost) STRAIGHT to wavy hair. Never tried CG method, I immediately knew that it wouldn't work for me. This is what I do: I use regular shampoo, conditioner, towel. Do my make up. Remove towel, brush my hair gently from bottom to top. Loosing up by flipping my hair over and back a few times, then diffuse on high heat (no product yet) just to make sure my scalp is completely dry. THEN I wet my hair. Not extremely wet! Doesn't work for me( too wet hair and products make the product lose their concentration power) scientifically, when you add more water, the molecules break:) the product I use is a gel, and have very much control over how to scrunch it, because it's not extremely wet! then I diffuse upside down, move around a little with the difusser, takes only 5-8 minutes (because when you started, it wasn't complete wet. I end with a cool shot from the diffuser.. Shake it up, especially by the roots and add a little hairspray.. Don't use hairspray too close to your hair, because then it gets scrunchy! Sometimes I use a little volume powder by my roots( or my problem area) and again flip upside down.. Et voila! You'll see volume, beautiful curls, and your hair will feel firm and alive.. This routine is done in 20 minutes.. Because your hair feels firm, you don't feel the need to touch it very often, or scrunch it up. This seriously works great for me and my sister. We both have wavy, sometimes straight hair.. I've been doing this for years. And no I don't have any frizz, (but secretly enjoy some frizz) because my hair is naturally not THAT curly.. I seriously get a lot of compliments about my hair, just try it out.. Maybe when your hair is a bit longer:)
