Hey y'all welcome back to my channel okay, so today it's gon na be kind of like a chatty video just a little bit. I'M not gon na make it like super super long or anything like that. Jesus Christ. I said about time anyway, I'm basically gon na be telling basically going to be telling you guys how I fixed quote-unquote my uneven hair. Okay. So let me tell you guys: the bank story, the bank okay story and then you guys to kind of understand what was going on so as a child. When I was younger, my mom used to take me to the hairdresser. Like religiously, I mean like every like two weeks, I think it's not. Every week I used to get a deep condition. I used to get it like a flat ironed and like styled, and things like that. My my ends like clips and stuff um and a young age. I realized that a lot of stylists did not understand clipping ends. I was getting like full-on cooks, okay, let's just put it out there, but anyways um. I was going to this particular style stylist for a while every once in a while. I would be getting like a perm and decondition. You know the whole nine, so my mom took really really good care of my hair um. If she didn't do it, then most likely the stylist didn't she only really got in my hair when the stylist was booked or something like that or she couldn't take me. So I noticed a pattern in my hair, so my hair was growing very, very uneven and it was so odd to me. I had no idea what was really going on with my hair, so my hair was growing like this. It was like this I was flourishing, but this side was like it was just staying stagnant and I just could not understand why. Another thing this side, the side that was flourishing, was thin. The side that was stuck in one link was thick. I was like what is going on. I had no idea what was going on, so the stylist of course tried many different things. She tried to cut my hair like this style like um, you know like a short long type of bob, which is kind of cute, but you, you know kind of got old. Didn'T she try to like give me all even cook kind of like this. You know that kind of got old, so I'm just like. Why is my hair doing this and I had no idea why the lady kept trying to treat it and then, on top of that, she wasn't really cutting my ends right, so I ended up getting like a really really short cut and I was thinking I was Gon na happen - and it just didn't happen - I tried all kind of shampoos, conditioners, um things that promised to grow your hair thinking you're. Here I just kind of gimmicky type stuff. I try to move on. We try and it was one day I'll. Never forget the day, guys: okay, um mmmm, ah we're going to the African braiding shops to get our hair braided and um. I was like. I was just sitting my ruin that - and I was just so disgusted with my hair. I was so depressed like I was so depressed like hair depression, it's real, I don't know if you guys know or not, but if my hair not right on my hair, not the way I want it to look. I'M not going. I'M gon na have a full-blown attitude. My hair got ta match my outfit, etc. Okay, so anyways, I was just disgusted. I was young, like literally I was really young. I was just sitting my room and I was like I'm about to go through this or whatever. So I was thinking that my mom won't find out because I'm like, I was gon na be braids. So I would think that she would just notice didn't think that I, through good enough. So I end up cutting my hair, like literally no chances, but I took sisters. I just thought it's on her. After trying everything I had just exhausted. All of my resources, yeah, I was like in my waist and I like look. Some gon na have to give yeah. So that's what ended up happening. I cut it. I cut my hair super super short. I could I cut that uh. Even this out, I cut it down really really really low and I practically started over because there was like the only thing I could do. Okay, you know after a lot of other techniques, yeah it would grow, but it was still uneven yeah once I would thicken up, but it was still uneven. I just didn't know what to do. You know I'm saying so by cutting it out and actually like cutting. It is farting like a new fresh start with a new regimen and just doing my own thing that made things so much better. I didn't I end up going to I haven't. Actually, I have not been to a hairdresser since and that's been over. Oh yikes, it's been over ten years and I have not been nicked to a hairdresser. Since you know, I'm not sure she was leaving the perm. She wasn't fully like washing the perm out of my hair. I don't know if it was some products. That was a second time I Henry well, I'm not sure what really happened, but my hair was growing so wonky in weird, like I never had that experience before. In my life you know so a lot of people come to me and say: hey my hair's uneven. What do i do? I always suggest the best thing to do is to cut it off and start over. Now, I'm not saying just take the Clippers and ginger like. I only recommend it if your hands in that bad of shape, but if it's a little uneven, you want to go ahead and even it out. Okay, if it's super super super, I even yeah you might even TWA, but that's not gon na, and if you don't know what that is, it's just a really tiny afro. But if you wear protective styles such as braids, you wear wigs up like weeds that are gon na protect your hair, your edges, and things like that. People are not gon na know that your hair, this short, okay, you can cut your hair short, even it out get into a simple method that works for you, not what everybody else recommend it or whatever cuz we get to a simple regimen that works. For you stretch out your relaxers if you are relaxed, maybe go tech slacks. If you get relaxers, if you used to get relaxers, let's say every month. Try every two months, then every three months or every formas try like that. And then you know, do the whole tics like thing and it sticks likes thing instead of get them every two, it's every three weeks. I know some people dear Alexis, like every two weeks. You know that's not good, so anyways guys. I just want to make a like a short type of chatty video to come. Tell you guys how that happened. To me, you know I'm saying and how I fix the issues now, I'm not a cosmetology. Look any I'm not telling you! I don't do anything. Y'All know my schpeel take everything I say with a grain of salt, please, okay, um! Just because something works for me doesn't mean it will work for you, but I would suggest that people have been asking me you know. Have. I ever had this type of problem. What I do - and I just felt like I could come on here - make a video of it because there's actually a lot of people that are going through it. Okay, so anyways! That'S any questions comes concerns. Please lean down below you guys. You guys already know we're. Gon na discuss in the comments when I get back to you the next day, you're 30 minutes later. Okay, we can discuss in the comments and yeah, see how my next

April Powell: Hair depression is real! I’ve been to hairdressers that said they were clipping the ends but cut off more than the ends. Or you go to get your hair braided and you show them the picture and they swear up and down that they know how to do the style you showed in the picture and your hair don’t look nothing like the picture. I have more stories but I will leave it at that.

Chinkeyejas: Hair depression is VERY real I’ve called off work before bc my hair wasn’t up to par

MzMaverick !: That's my story! I thought it was just me. My hair would grow on one side faster than the other. The hair dresser chopped my hair off to my ears at 12 and called it a "trim". I cried and did not leave the house for 2 weeks. Never been to a hair dresser since. That's why i love your videos. I'm still learning, and you give an honest view of your experiences. ❤

Josie Gibbs: You are preaching the truth. When I was getting my hair permed my hairdresser claimed she was clipping my ends and jacked it up. My hair went from shoulder length to uneven ear length. I was so mad, I took pride in maintaining my length of healthy hair and she ruined it. She never saw me again.

Ellie Ameli: Yes! Hair depression is definitely real.

Taj’s and Chris: Our hair is the exact same the growth and especially the back looks just like that . Smh I’m just continuing to moisturize and keep it braided.. and I’m tired of cutting my hair not cutting anymore . Yes I’m texlaxed I use just for me texture softener ..

Snails Prevail : I dont go to hair dressers at all! I always dyed my hair myself. I only got damage from bleach & ammonia products which was kinda my own fault lmao. I stopped bleaching for 2 years now If I do go to a salon its only for a trim... sometimes I dont trust my scissors are sharp enough anymore... My hair is to my waist but its so uneven and my eyebrows are also very uneven

GOLDEN GLAMOURZON: You look so prettyand so entertaining cause u are very relatable.

Никол: That is not uneven hair growth. That is damaged hair. I know that from experience. It is true that hair can grow faster on one side, but the thumbnail looks like a chemical/heat/styling damage issue.

Ciahishername: I loveeee your videos! Thank you for the helpful tips.Natural hair can be so complicated! I have YouTube channel and I talk about my hair journey as well! So

Caren Vega: This is crazy. I’ve been looking for someone with the same problem. My thick hair in the back (looks healthy) doesn’t grow at all, and on the sides it’s grows & it literally looks like your befores so you’re saying I need to cut all of my hair ?

Ashley Le'ne: Truth Sis , some stylist don’t understand hair !

Marina Dias: I don’t even know what to do anymore, I had the long bob style just to get rid of the relaxed part... it’s been 4 years and I swear it hasn’t grown at all at the back.. the front is growing super normal, like at the length of my boobs, but the back is still at the shoulder, I don’t know what to to do anymore, every year I have to just cut it short again so it doesn’t look weird

♡︎𝘾𝙮𝙗𝙚𝙧シ: My hair is really uneven at the back of my head my hair reaches my shoulders bit at the sides it only reaches my chin and my front use to reach my chin but I cut it terribly and cut 3 inches of my front off and I keep crying because of it and I don’t want to cut everything back and make it even because I don’t want to wait 3 months

Esther Tanga: When I was at least 5 I thought it be fun to cut my hair. *Well look where I am now-*

Mimi Williams: I love your hair. You look so pretty!

luke privat: i’m a dude and i cut my hair shaved my head to the scoop 6 months later the bottom back wright side of my head does not grow as thick or as fast

axe in boots: truth. i have 3a hair, i wanted it straighter, i liked it, but didn't suit me. so i cut myself. in and out I WAS ANGRY cause i had my father's hair. i zig-zagged it and it went horribly wrong. so my mother tried to fix it, it was okay but there were random smaller hair peeking out. there still are, even after a month which ain't long but still so anyways, instead of going bald, i wanna just grow it and cut it properly somehow! oooah i made such a bad mistake. the hairdresser's never thin it out enough say 'we know what we are doing'- they don't always. i seem complacent, but it is sooo darn expensive for a trim even. i don't understand life anymore. i feel so upset my hair looks weird. its soooo noticeable too.

Aboya : my hair is just like that but my mum has this thing where she HATES it when my hair is cut so i can't cut it i don't think she would let me so what should i do? its very long and the only way to make it even is to cut it up to my neck and let it grow together but that's my mums biggest fear!! i honestly don't know what to do

somethingnew13: Thanx for the info love all your vids...you're so cute & funny! Ever considered looking into comedy?

Beautiful Diva: The first style she cut it in was called a tilt.

J M: What kind of perm do you use to texlax your hair ?

dominik Bezdiecki: I've split up with my boyfriend after bad haircut He was even more mad when he found out real reason

Tia Blasian: You look like a brownskin Lisa Ray ❤❤

Stella셴 Martin: My hair is so uneven majority of my hair is at almost one place (on my shoulder or past my shoulder) but the hair at the back (mostly the center) it's almost at the center of my back This an illustration from back view: U|U The "U" are the somewhat even hair Then "|" is the very long hair at the back

Tv Head: Your hair was growing uneven because its possible because of your depression. And I think you should look that up. Also some people hair just grow uneven and this is why a chop is good because you can maintain your uneven hair making it seem as if it can grow even. Hair also works based from blood flow to the head so thats another thing. No matter what they did to your hair at that time nothing would've helped because that was your hair growth. Also no product can grow your hair for you thats all a lie, the just enhance your hair I help it stay healthy so your hair growth look better because your hair dont struggle more. I help woman with cancer gain back hair so trust me I know and its good that you do your own hair and itd good that u did all of this as a child because hair growth will slow down for woman around the age 23 to 28 depending on DNA .

Orlondra Todd: Maybe it’s genetics I cut my hair into a small fro it grows but same problem... short and thin on my left, fuller and longer on my right.. I’ve done deep conditions protein treatment protective styles ect hair growth oil pills, it grows just so unevenly... I haven’t got a relaxer in 10 years I just don’t know what to do

Isha Thakur: iam too suffering from the same

Ave ver the 4th: So gorgeous

Rere Lake: Bob info please

Surendra Kumar: Ling ko lmba Karne ke bare me batao

Chrisy’s Walk and Beauty: I love this bob!!! Lol
