How To: Natural Quick Weave With Middle Part Leave Out

This video details how I install a quick weave via the wig cap method using hair protector. The hair I'm installing is Zury Sis natural dream weave synthetic hair and can be found at most beauty supply stores.

Supplies Needed:

Hair

Hair glue

weave cap/ stocking cap

hair protectant or Got 2b glued hair spray

blowdryer

scissors

White eyeliner/lipliner pencil

Steps to install quick weave:

PREP:

1. Braid down your hair (optional, can pull into ponytail/slick down), and make sure to leave out enough hair at the top to cover your tracks.

2. Put on the wig cap (any color)

3. Use a white eyeliner/lip liner pencil to mark the area around your leave out

3. Apply hair protectant to cap avoiding areas of leave out , can use gorilla snot hair spray or morning glory hair protectant

4. Blow dry hair protectant making sure it is COMPLETELY dry

INSTALL

1. Measure the track hair against your head from ear to ear

2. Cut the weft that you measured

3. Apply hair glue to track and allow to dry for no longer than 30 seconds

4. Lay the track onto your cap beginning at the bottom working your way up

5. Repeat the above steps until you reach your leave out

6. cut off the remaining cap that's exposed (be careful!!)

7. Style your leave out as desired

Psalm 27:12 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

Okay, so starting things off, this is my braid pattern. I don't know what kind of pattern that is, i'm not a braider. I did what i could with what i had i'm putting on my wig cap. I know some people use two this time, i'm just gon na use one. I feel like it's a little bit more sturdier for the longevity of your style when you use one and i'm just going to outline my leave out with this white pencil and then i'm just going to go in with this morning, glory hair, protectant stuff. I can link it in the description box below, oh, my goodness, um, and that is going to protect my hair, allegedly from the glue i used this once before, and i can't say it actually does protect your hair. It'S just kind of tedious having to put this. Like all over your whole entire head, you have to really saturate it and make sure like you get everywhere, and then you have to blow dry it, and it really does take like 15 to 20 minutes for this to dry completely. Once that has dried, you can go ahead and start installing the hair. I got four packs of this dream, hair from the beauty supply store. I think each pack was 11.99 each 12 and i got it in the 24 inches, but the 24 inches is actually really long. It kind of hangs like a 26 28 inch, which i was really excited about. Also. I just want to note that you do get a good amount of hair on the wefts, so in all i only wound up using like two and a half packs once you get to this part. Applying the tracks is actually pretty easy. All you're going to do is just measure it from end to end of your cap to make sure it's the right size, you're going to cut it, and i like to measure it again just to make sure i cut it correctly, because sometimes i don't and then You'Re going to put glue on it and then you're just going to attach it to your head. If you have trouble, of course, it's like the back of your head, so you can't really see what you're doing, but i just use my fingers to kind of feel where i want it to go and i put it in place. I would definitely say one of the hardest parts of the install is when you get to this little part here like. If you have like a bun or a ball in the back of your head, you really just have to be careful and make sure you apply. The track straight, but again, if you just use your fingers to detect where you want it to go, you should be fine and then you'll just lay it in place like here, i'm showing you that i use my fingers to feel what i'm doing and just lay The track down after i lay a couple of tracks in the back. I do like to blow dry it. I don't do this track by track, because it'll take way too long, i'll probably do like four tracks and then blow dry it at a time. Okay. So now, i'm about to install bundle, number two. The first bundle actually got pretty far. It got like almost halfway through my head honestly, truly um. You can see how far it went up and i really put my tracks kind of close. So if you spread yours out a little bit more, you can probably make it stretch and you would probably only need two packs, but i kind of just like a fuller look, which is why i put mine more close together. Okay, now that i'm on the last pack of hair and i'm near the top of my head, the only thing that i'm going to do differently is just make my tracks in more of a u-shape instead of going like straight across. This is just because this is how my part is okay, so the last thing to note is, if you cannotice in the front of my head, i'm not bringing the tracks all the way down to where the band is. This is because i am cutting that band off being very careful not to cut my hair to give more of a natural look instead of having to go all the way forward. Also, i just want to note that i'm actually putting glue on this part right here to prevent it from sliding later on, because that's one thing that i notice about when i do. My installs is like on the corners in the front right there. They tend to slide so i'm just gluing that, yes down to my actual hair, to kind of make it more secure to prevent sliding i'll. Let you know how that goes, because it's something new that i'm trying out and then i'm just going to be adding another small piece of track here to the cap right there to kind of fill in the gap and, honestly that's it and i'm just going to Go through and style the hair, so i'll, probably just speed up through the rest of it, but just something that i wanted to know about the hair. I'Ve had it in for like three days now, and it holds up pretty well. You just really have to keep a brush on you keep a brush on. You make sure you keep brushing out the ends, because it's synthetic hair and it will tangle up it's not. It doesn't necessarily get matted like. I don't have that issue like last night. I slept on my hair without a bonnet and it didn't get mad or anything. It just gets a little tangly, not even that bad honestly, truly, it's like you just need to brush through it and it'll straighten back up. You actually don't even have to flat iron. This hair that much, maybe because it's like a synthetic fiber but yeah like flat ironing, is really not necessarily not necessary. All i do is brush through it and it gets straight um. But aside from that, i actually really like this hair, and i would probably i would definitely actually use this hair again. I was kind of nervous at first because it's been so long since i've had synthetic hair, probably like over 10 years, so going back to it. I was a little nervous, but i actually don't regret it. This is something cute for like a last minute hairstyle or something that you just don't want to wear for too long. I wouldn't recommend keeping this in super long, maybe like a week max i'll. Let you know i'll probably do another update, because again it's only been like three days so i'll see how this holds up after a week, but that's it for the video. The rest of this is just going to be me finishing up, styling the hair. If you have any questions, make sure to leave them in the description box below and i'll answer, all your questions and that is it uh okay, so this hair came out so good. I was so surprised honestly. I didn't even expect this and for 12 bucks a pack, you can't really go wrong. It blends really really good with natural hair, and i have no complaints about this hair. I mean it's synthetic, so it's gon na do what synthetic hair does, but, besides that it's a cute little temporary style, so anyways. Thank you guys so much for watching this video make sure you hit that subscribe button and give the video a thumbs up. Adios till next time,

QDaGoddess: It’s the fact that you jumped RIGHT into the video for me M! Thanks babe! We appreciate you for that lol

L Marshall: Put the protectant directly on your hair, then put the cap on, it will also protect the part you had to glue down. I also just do one braid down the back and tuck it, it dries faster. Cute doooooe!

Tashanna Stevenson: YES! im going to start learning how 2 do my own hair during quarantine. im tired of paying rude chicago stylist all this money to do something i can do myself!

Alexis Arvin: Looks so beautiful! I can’t wait to try this! You made this look so easy! I’ve never done a quick weave on myself ....how do you remove it when finished ???

Aly Marii: This is honestly my favorite brand of synthetic hair to use when I do my genie ponytails and pigtails hands down didn’t think other people used it nor knew about it!

ModelMommyMonologues: Yes I like this hair, I just grabbed some again. When I've used it in the past it can last 2-3 weeks depending on the style and I use a little less leave out as well. But yes nice video, quick and easy and great for quick weaves

Shan-Sharay: This was so helpful You did an amazing job

Tamara Tidline: Thanks for this video!!! I wanna play with new styles. This looks so easy and cute :)

Alicia Jones: You make me want to go this this hair now and try this! It turned out so cute!

Tardy To The Party Budgets: Perfect! My stylist is off til the 8th and I’m walking around looking crazy! Imma try it!

Savannah D: Your hair blended really well, great job beautiful and oh! Instead of gluing down the edges, you can see down the perimeter of the wig cap (before you install the tracks) and cut off the excess whenever.

Taboo S: Omg I thought it was a frontal at first it turned out sooooo gooooddd!!!! Great job girl! I need an install that can protect my edges and real hair

Lisa Jensen: This was awesome. Great way of doing this thank you for making this video.

Ashley McNeil: This is cute !! I usually keep my lil quick weaves in 2 weeks :)

treshaaaaa: Love love love LOVEEE IT!!! I'm doing one today and you just gave me the best tutorial because this is my first time doing it on myself and I'm scared but wish me luckkk❤❤❤

Vee Davis: There is Nothing like learning how to do your Own Hair Been doing mine for years❤... You did A Great Job Proud of you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Stay Safe ❤❤

Jaida: It blended so well

TheJayco14: You killed this! Can't wait to try it out

Little Details by Darby🍭: Love this! I’ve been wearing QWs 5 yrs now! I go to the salon and love having a fresh new look every 3 weeks. My Stylist actually sees the cap onto my braids on the perimeter of my head. I use Onyx hair, and you’re right… u definitely gotta keep a brush on you. You did a great job and I appreciate how u got directly into the video!! Thanks

Fun girl28: I’m on that same tip boo just bought 30 inch 14 dollar hair and bout to use your technique IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL LOVE HOW FLAT IT IS EVEN WITH BRAIDS UNDERNEATH ❤️

Luxe And Loaded: Wow I walked past this hair in the store today and didn’t give it a second look because it’s synthetic had no clue it could look that good

Sierra J Madison: Needed this in my life ❤️

Carol Mahler: This is the best hair, it curls, and stays curled, and it's only tangling because of the length, but it last so long, and people be sleeping on it, get it! and you can keep this hair in for as long as it will hold up. Perhaps, she didn't keep it in longer because it's so long, but really 18 inches is like 22 inches, and it will last you. Make a wig and it lasts months, shampoo it, and flat iron it on low and it's like a new wig or weave.

La Gigi: I love this look ima try it this week you made it look easy guuurrl !

Kelis Livingston: Here’s another tip, instead of glueing the cap onto your scalp, get needle and thread on two small braids around the perimeter then cut it so that it won’t be much of a hassle in the end.

Winter Nightsky: Thank you for doing a style with the packaged hair. I don't get the packaged hair shaming vs bundles when they look and feel the same and after so many uses both will eventually be discarded or no longer used. Long before bundles they were breaking their necks/pockets for packaged hair. The way i look at it, it's the same hair just different package. Yes i understand that synthetic isn't going to be like human hair. But you can't tell me it's such a big difference between packaged human hair vs. bundles

Patrice Whitaker: GO GURLLLLLL... This was by far the best weave video ive seen on youtube and i do hair myself with my own business and i wonna give you props. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

LolaJj: Wow very talented boo. I think the only concern for me was the direct glue on the hair …I’d be afraid of bald spots. I knew of a roommate that used to put glue directly on her hair to glue on her tracks and she has so many bald spots. But overall this is an amazing technique. Thank you for sharing!!

SoftPinkSativa: i use synthetic most of the time and people wouldn’t even know the difference. it’s come a long way! lol

Ebony Hicks: The day I'm able to rock natural looking straight hair, i know I made it

Kemari Robinson: I do this but I also add human hair the same length as the others after 3 or more tracks it's gives the hair a natural look and I just add a frontal . It definitely works ‼️

Biah Trombini: Apaixonada estouu ❤️

Guyish: Thank you this is beautiful

Prophetess Lady Of Wisdom: My first time ever hearing of a quick weave. Your weave looks beautiful.

Atiya Hubbard: I have a question but I just want to say I really really love how u did this video u got straight to the point and did it step by step and it came out beautiful I have a bday coming up and wanted to do this myself first time do u think this would be good especially during this heat wave?

Chanell Benson: Super Professional!! Love it

Mickey Sandoval: beautiful hair style and technique. cute pullover

Brittney Lewis: Let me go find this dream hair. Out here spending 200 plus dollars on bundles

Kay Brittany: This came out super cute !

BettyAnn Smith: Dang, I wish I had a fraction of her talent! ❤

Shatahlai Wright: 2 small anchor braids around your leave out will help keep the cap from slipping ❤️ the tutorial

TipsFromaPrincess: Im about to do a synthetic quickweave right now. I hope it comes out pretty. I want mine to last maybe two weeks but maybe i can get 10 days.

Julianna Nelson: THAT LOOKS DELICIOUS !

Natasha H: Please Don’t glue the ends down to your hair instead try to glue it down to your scalp unless you put the silicone protectant on your hair before you apply the glue. The glue will have a tendency without protecting your hair to pull your hair out at the root

Ty E: Looks really good❤

Ludkay: you should get the glue remover when removing the part you glued to your hair it works amazing

Shar Si Rose: This came out beautifully!! You did great idk if I can do it tho lol

Lisa J: Nice! I love doing quick weaves... More natural looking and fast!

Lissie Guzman: Looks so good !

Jadea Jones: I literally was looking at this hair in the store today going back to get it now

Naomi Jones: Yes Goddess quick and affordable. Love it.

Lady Hook Killa: I LOVE you taught me something THANK YOU!

Bianca_Love: Chile..PERIOD!..I Can’t even do a half up half down quick weave without glue being everywhere and tracks lopsided

Blessings Bestowed: Try doing a braid around the Perimeter and sewing the caps down so as the glue loosen the cap dont slide. You can make your stitches large so its easy to take out

Lennaz p Lennee: You can mold the cap with got to be gel & hair extreme hold hairspray it works just the same better for the hair this came out really pretty

Author Belinda Hunter: Yes. A video thats right to the point.

Tuttibabi90: Whew Chile you got right into it

Buttafly Antics: I’m so trying this, thanks sis

Mica 1990: Nice job. Really pretty⭐
