Hey guys welcome back to my channel here in this channel, we'll talk about relaxed, haircare, hybrid tips, protective styling and so much more concerning the hair topic in general. So if you know you're interested in this type of content, consider subscribing so in today's video we're going to be talking about my 2022 hair goals. Don'T worry where my head looking is looking funny because i actually put the single braids in cornrows under my wigs. I did this yesterday to try and see if it will lay flatter and it was actually okay. So that's why the braids are looking kind of oily and rough. I just took it out right now before i'm filming this with you, so my goals for 2022. First of all, i would like to start by saying i am on a protective style and relaxer stretch challenge in case. You are new here and actually started those challenges. Last year i have a video dedicated to those challenges and i usually come back and give you guys updates like weekly updates, sometimes every two weeks. So in my last update, i am six months into my relaxer stretch and five weeks into my representative style and my goal is to get to eight months for the relaxer stretch and four months for the native style. So hopefully my positive style challenge would take me right to the eight months target for my relaxer stretch challenge so maybe in two to three months time i'll be relaxing my head. That should be around much if you are an og. You know that my definite squirrel it's get to table and, with the last learn check i did i was at heat plant. Nobody where my hair is looking right now, i really don't get the full length of my hair unless, when i flat iron it and that's why i only like doing a lens chip when i relax and flatten my hair, i thought this issue was only going to Be seen natural hair sisters, and i am surprised that, even though i am relaxed, i still get a lot of freakish. So my first goal here go for 22 is to get to tailbone length. Hopefully, with my, it must be lesser stretch, because my last atmosphere last saturday took me from wasteland to heavy plants. So i'm hoping that this should do a good job as well. Take me from replace to till poland, so i'm kind of optimistic about the relax that day. Well, it's not that far two months and i can't wait to get there. So that's the first one. The next thing i'm i'm going to be doing for this 2022 is to get a head stream like compulsory, is the way i'm escaping this. This time you should be following me. You know that i was supposed to get a headshot during my last relax about. So many things happened and i was not able to get a trim so this time around, i have to get it because for the past one yeah, i think it's been over a year. Maybe almost two years i have not gotten a dream and my ends are dead, like my ends are really dead, so i need to get rid of those ends. So i'm thinking, maybe even if i get turbo lens when i get a trim, my lens will kind of reduce, but i don't think i'm concerned about that right now. As long as my ends are healthy, that's the goal. So that's it for my trim. Another thing i'm going to be um, adding a spice to it's my regimen. If you've been following me, you know that i am a fan of protective style challenges and relaxer stretch challenges, but protective style challenges mostly and for and for the past seven years of my hair journey. I have been using protective styles to grow my hair, and it was recently like for the past two years that i incorporated relaxer stretches into my regimen and that actually helped a lot still using protective styles before i was using sewing on box braids. Now i am just using wigs, so i put these single braids under my wigs. So after my relaxer day, which is going to come up in two months time, i want to make a change to my regimen, because i want to try a lot of things, especially if i get to my go of tailbone. I'M more focused on health over length because i don't think i want to get past terrible length unless i change my mind later so i'll be more focused on trying to um give my head a protein moisture balance, because i know my hair is usually stabbed of Protein and moisture when you long-term positive styles, because i mostly do long-term protective styles and rarely short-term protective styles, i do share 10 perceptive styles immediately, post relaxer, but when it gets into two months post relaxer, i started long term for 30 stars and my hair can't Be in the productive stuff for as long as five months! So that's why this year i want to try and make my hair more healthy. It'S not just about length because nobody like your hair is long is healthy and as much as we want long hair, we want our hair to be healthy as well. So, that's why i'm going to be trying out a few things trying out a lot of diys a lot of new products and change my relative style. I may not be doing long protective styles that frequently, but of course my hair will still be in protective styles, but now they will be mostly in short-term protective styles. If you understand what i mean so i'm going to film and upload all those videos, all the diys, i'm going to use on my hair or the new products i'm going to use on my hair, you guys i'm going to see everything the effects on my hair And all that so make sure to stay tuned and turn on the post notifications like unified to get notified when i upload those videos. Another goal i have for 2022 is how i want the shape of my ends to be. I don't know if i'll be able to achieve that this year, but if i can i'll be so so happy like, i prefer blunts and over v shaped ends. So that's one of the things i'm going to be looking into my definite goal actually is to get blonde still bullet hair. So that's why i'm going to be trimming my hair gradually until i get that shape. I actually prefer blunt ends. Over v shaped ends. Some people prefer the v shaped over blonde shape, but mine is the opposite, because i, like my ends, having that kind of full look. So another thing i'm going to change in my regimen is the way i'm going to be washing my hair, i'm frequently i'm going to be washing my hair. If you've been following me that i don't wash my hair every week, i don't wash my hair every month. I wash my hair after taking down a long temperature down, sometimes sometimes about taking down the long-term productive style, and when it's close to my relaxer day, i just go ahead. Give it a two weeks break and relax my hair when i'm getting longer to my relaxer stretches and you meet the number of times i wash my hair, because during this period my roots are usually very curly and kinky, and i tend to get a lot of Tangles, when i wash my hair during this period, so that's why i generally meet washing my hair when um so many more supposed to relax up. But when i'm just a few weeks post relaxer, i am more comfortable washing my hair. So this time around, i am thinking of washing my hair more frequently because, like i said, i'm going to be trying out a lot of new products, new diys and as much as possible. I want to prevent product speedo, because when i belong to protective stuff, i hardly use any products on my head very, very red. Sometimes i can go on if i want protective style and i'll only moisturize until my hair twice. So that's one of the reason i'm going to be increasing the frequency of my watches to prevent spread of good options, i'm going to be using a lot of products, everyone with that, i'm going to try and see if i can stretch my relaxers, but if the Toe is not going to go well to get that. I am also going to have to break down the duration of my relaxer stretches, because one of the worst things i hate in my hair journey is when i have to deal with tangles. I'M sure a lot of you out there like that as well, so anything that really makes me have nuts and tangles i'm going to try and avoid them as much as possible. So those are some of the goals and some of the changes i'm going to be implementing in this year as time goes by after starting um. This whole changes and all and my hair does not like it. I can still go ahead and make more changes, but for now this is what i'm sticking with and if everything goes well and according to plan i go back at the end of the year. My hair will come out exactly how i want it to be long. Luscious healthy tearful length and all that so um, that's just a brief summary of my goals for 2022. My hair goes so i also like to know your hair goes for 22 as well. Hilda Ackah: My goal for 2022 is to grow longer healthier hair, doing things that my hair loves not what everyone says is good for their hair. I’ll just be myself and watch my hair flourish with time. I’ll stick to 4 months stretch or probably go back to three. okwufulueze nwoko: I have figured that doing hot oil treatments soften my new growth really well... so u can incorporate that and wash your hair at least once a month while still having those long term protective styles on.

Chinyere Fidelis: Girl you are doing a good job but pls take this advice as I've learnt from years of experience. Trim your hair in between this stretch if you actually want to see real results at the end of the stretch. And you mentioned you skipped trimming the last time. Pls trust me trim more often if not your results will not be visible as it should. By the way I'm tail bone length on my relaxed hair with 8 years of experience
