Me hey guys, so I don't have much time to film this intro, because I have to change into my outfit and then get out the door because it is Valentine's Day. But I wanted to film this video like Mike Ross. Less of getting ready doing my hair and makeup because I knew I was gon na - spend a little bit longer than I typically do. While I'm doing this - and so I thought, even though the video won't go up on Valentine's Day - it'll be either this Saturday or Sunday after I decided it would be great just to film it and show you guys, because if you're going on a date or if You just want to feel and look a little bit more glamorous or something you could do this tutorial. So, even though it is my Valentines Day tutorial that doesn't mean obviously that that's the only time you guys can use this so yeah. I want to go ahead and get started on the video, and can we just talk about my nail art right now? I know it's crazy, also my manicurist info in the bottom part of this video, but I am like absolutely obsessed. I can't get over my inhale. That'S weird: as always, I'm gon na start off with my benefit stay, don't stray eyeshadow primer, so I'm just going to apply a little bit of this on to both of my eyelids and then blend it up towards my brow. This will help prevent any creasing and make the shadows more defined. Then you want to take a white eyeliner mine's by NYX Cosmetics and line right under your eyebrows, and then you also want to apply a little bit of this to the inner corners of your lids. Both on the top and bottom and then we are just going to take our finger to blend it out and make sure everything is super. Smooth then comes our NYX jumbo eye shadow pencil and iced mocha. So I'm just going to take this and apply it to my lid and it's a little bit patchy at first. But the heat from your finger when you go to blend it out, is going to just kind of melt everything and make it seamless and perfect. So then we are going in with our eye shadows, and this is actually the Mac culture eyes duo and I'm going to start off with a big fluffy brush and go ahead and apply the lighter color underneath my brow and on the entire upper half of my Lid and then with a flat shader brush, I'm going to take some of the light gold color and apply this all over my lid. So this is going to be our first gold and when we take our other one, it's going to create kind of an ombre effect and it's really beautiful. So the second color is amber lights also by MAC Cosmetics and I'm just going to take the same brush with that and apply it just to the outer half, and this, as you can see, creates like a really gorgeous effect. Then we're going to take that same color, amber lights by Mac with a crease brush and apply this in small circular motions on to your crease of your lid, basically the hollow of your eye. This is just going to help everything blend together and I think it creates a really sexy sultry, look for date, night or any night that you just want to look a little more glamorous and just apply an extra little bit to the outer corner. And then we are taking mulched by Mac with a liner brush we're actually going to line the outer half of our upper lid. Then we're going to create sort of a V on the outer corner of our eye and when we blend it all together, it gives a really gorgeous effect. So all you have to do is take this Brown shadow into the hollow of your eye. You just want to do a thin line of this, and you want to go about halfway into your crease. So, just wherever your eyeball kind of like pushes in a little bit the hexer you want to apply this shadow, then we are going to take our crease brush and just start blending this out. You want to mainly blend it on the outer corner of your eye, but you can bring it a little bit further along into your crease, and this is just such a gorgeous faded. Look then I'm just taking that same liner brush and I am applying a mixture of amber lights and mulch onto my lower lash line, just to give a little more umph, and then we are going to take something to fill in our brows, I'm using the Mac. Deep dark, brunette, eyebrow liner, you can use powder line or whatever you want. This is something different. I'M using today, I typically use powder. So really it's just whatever your little heart desires, so you just want to fill in any sparse areas of your brows. Don'T go too heavy with your hand, and then you want to make sure you blend it out with a spoolie. Then we are going to take a black pencil liner line, the waterline, which is that bottom area of skin, under your eye, in between your lower lashes and your eyeball. And then we are going to take some liquid liner mine's by L'Oreal and it's just the carbon black liner intense and we are just going to line our upper lash line. I started with a thinner line and then it gradually got thicker and then I have eyelash extension, so I won't be applying mascara to my upper lashes, but I'm taking this very drops. Mascara that has a really unique and awesome bubble brush and I'm just going to to apply this on to my lower lashes. But you guys, if you're using just mascara, I would say, apply two full coats onto your top lashes or even use some false lashes for a night like this. Then we're taking our MAC lipstick in there and just applying this on to our lips. And I think this color is really great. My lips are really chapped right now, it's like if it's bad like it's bad, but then we are just gon na take some lip gloss, I'm using the Tarte lip gloss and glisten and apply this onto our lips, and I already applied some blush prior to filming, But you guys can use any blush you would like for this look and then we are done with the makeup and then it is time to get our fabulous hair. So I am taking this nume lustrum wand and set you guys. This kit is amazing. First off it comes in a little travel bag, which i think is just awesome, and then it comes with five different barrels, a thick wand, a bubble, wand, medium wand, tapered wand and skinny wand, and then it comes with one base that has a lock and unlock. So that you don't burn yourself on/off button, obviously, and then it this is a little indicator light when it's plugged in so I'm going to be using the tapered wand, and it is so easy to attach. All you do is stick it on turn the side to lock and then plug it in and turn it on. The same goes for when you are taking it apart. It'S just super easy to kind of disassemble, and this is perfect if you're traveling, so I'm just gon na go ahead and start off with my hair right now. I just have it up from a clip in a clip from doing my makeup, and that is not. Okay and I'm just going to brush it out and then guys. My ends are scary, like they actually probably would haunt my dreams. If I had dreams about the ends of my hair, so I'm just gon na go ahead and separate off the bottom layer of my hair right here and I've already. When I blow dried it, I applied a heat protectant. So right, then, I was just figuring out which hand the gloves should go on first, so I always say: take your barrel over your head, so the side of the hair that you are actually curling is the side. The glove will go on and then just make sure that you go over the back of your head when you are using a wand. That'S the easiest way I found to work and this glove comes in the kit as well. I'M like obsessed with this kit, you guys, especially if you don't have a big variety of curling irons. Yet this is just like the perfect kit that gets you five different curling irons, but you only really have like one section to keep up with like I'm. Just I'm in love with this, so basically you're just going to go ahead and repeat this on all of your hair, I'm holding it on just until I kind of feel the heat start to come through my gloves, and then I know that it has heated up. The hair - you know it kind of just like gives me that little we're heated through, but it doesn't burn it all or anything. I don't know if you're supposed to do that, but that's how I do it and then we're just going to keep going in sections and curling our hair and I actually have two coupon coats from nume. I think I've even like said it or shown it in videos before I don't know what it is. I don't know if I get lazy or what goes on, but I just make sure I'm a lot more careful with it and I honestly just kind of like go with it. I don't use the glove. Maybe it's because the hair is a lot thinner, because it's such a thin section that I'm doing I don't know, but then, when you are done curling you just want to let it cool, don't really mess with it for a second. I typically like to pick out my outfit or something and then once it's cool, you want to take a boar, bristle, brush and brush through your hair. This is one that L got me for Christmas. It'S the gold edition of the Sonia Kashuk brush, which is an absolute favorite of mine. You can get it at Target and we are just brushing through our hair to give us soft, bouncy curls, and then I'm just going to massage my scalp a little bit, because I don't know why it kind of like just I feel like gives my hair a Little more more volume kind of like unsticks, my hair from my scalp, and then I'm going to take some hairspray and spray that onto my hair. This is maximum hold, because I want my hair to last all night long.

But I do have something to say, and before I say it I want to address everyone else reading, because I don't want people to hate on this comment because I am not being a hater, I really just have something to say and I'm going to say it genuinely and lovingly because I really love Blair and appreciate everything she has done for Youtube. Blair, I've been a huge fan for three and a half years. I've never said anything negative, I've stood up for you over and over. But when you said in the intro, "I don't have much time for this intro" I felt cheated. I felt like this wasn't important to you anymore. I can TOTALLY get over the fact that this is a Valentine's day makeup look after Valentine's day, but saying that for the intro actually made me sad. Blair, you used to love making videos, but the love doesn't feel like it's there anymore. Maybe it's because you've been sick. But I think it's because you've grown up. And that's OKAY! But you don't have to keep trying to be the person you used to be for us. If you want to change your channel to be something different and not do beauty videos, or not do this kind of thing anymore, then don't. Because it's starting to really not feel authentic. People grow up, and when we grow up we change. When you started you were 15 years old in your bedroom making videos after school. You're not that girl anymore. You're an adult living on your own and a business woman and your true subscribers would understand if you wanted to do something different with your channel. We just want you to be happy.
