Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl tupo, if you're new here welcome, welcome. Welcome please subscribe like comment. Give me a thumbs up guys today, i'm going to be showing you this easy crisscross rubber band updo. So if you guys want to see how i check this look, please continue watching all right guys. My hair is already washed and moisturized i'm going to be using my shining jam, a rat tail comb and some rubber bands to achieve this. Look. So i'm going to start by sectioning my hair from here to the center of my head. Okay, so i just make sure my lines are really nice and straight and i'm using my shine and gem to just make sure the line is really nice and crisp. So you can use any other gel, you know or any other jam that you prefer. I just prefer the shiny gym because it works really well for my hair and when i'm done, i'm just gon na section the hair again on the middle right there, okay applying another, you know layer of shine and jam just to make sure this line really looks Nice and clean, so i'm gon na section, the other side as well, and this doesn't have to be as straight. You know, but i still want it to look really nice and you know presentable. So that's what i'm doing right there and i'm just taking another um scrunchie to secure the back. So i'm going to start by the side that i um section. First, i just sectioned the first line and then um that is going to be divided into two. So i'm just gon na start by you know applying a little bit of the shine and jam just to make sure it's really nice and clean. I really love this shine and jump. Guys like this is like my go-to, as you guys already know by now. So when i'm done, i'm just going to take a rubber band and you know, tie the hair and then i would just separate the hair into two and give it a little tug that way, it's really nice and snug on the bottom. So you don't want it to be like too too snug, you want it to be nice and you know snug, but not giving you a headache or trying to break your hair. So what i'm doing is i'm going to show you again, you know, take the shine and jam apply it to the hair, and then you know, use the rubber band and give it a little snug and twist it all the way down. When i get to the second section guys, i'm just going to section it on the line straight as i did the first one and then i'll section that one into two again and that's that's where we start the crisscross guys. So i will apply the jam on the section and then i will separate it into two and i really love this method, because it makes your hair look really really nice and you know like fancy. This is where we're starting with the crisscross method, guys just taking one side and placing it right there, and then i will just use a rubber band to hold all of them. So right now, i'm just holding the hair and the hair that i took from the other side. Holding it together, use the rubber band to secure it and then i'll separate it into two. Just give it a little tug like i did with the first one and then just twist it all the way down. This works very well because, when you're twisting you're twisting it with the hair that you broke from the other side and it's going to be snug, it's not going to like you know, unravel or anything. So that's what i'm doing too, with the other one. So i'm just going to do a crisscross method. That'S what we're doing right here. You can add a little bit more of the shining gem, especially if you have hair like mine, which is really coarse. You want to add as much shine and jam as possible, but you don't want to add it too much that it starts making your hair look white. So all these sections that i'm doing i'm just separating the hair into two guys. So it doesn't matter if it's getting thicker on the top. It'S still going to look really nice and cute. So we're going to crisscross it again, so we're doing um. You know crisscross and then use a rubber band to secure it and then take a little bit of the shine and jam apply to the hair and then twist it all the way down. That is all we're doing very simple: anybody can do this beginner friendly, and you know what this is a very, very easy that you can actually do this on your daughter. You can do this on your daughter. You can do this on your clients. You can do this on yourself, so that's the whole point is we're trying to look glam out here by ourself not going to the shops or anything, and when i tell you, this style took me about 15 minutes and i was done like for real no kidding. No copping, okay, all right! So when i get to the top right there, i'm not going to do the crisscross method, i'm just going to make it go straight, but if you want you can still continue with the crisscross method um. But this is what i was going for. This is what i had in mind. You know i just think of these styles and just be doing them anyway. So this is what i went with and you know same concept apply the shine and jam use the rubber band and then separate the hair into two. Give it a little tug and you know um twist it all the way down. While i was still talking says, have you subscribed to my channel, don't forget to turn on your notification button, so you do not miss out on any uploads, because this channel is getting juicy when i'm done. I'M just going to take my eco styling gel and my diana brush. You know i just want to sleek the hair, the rest of the hair down, i'm taking my afro comb just to comb it out and then taking the eco styling gel and just applying that to the other side of my head and then i'll. Take the hair that i'm done with on the other side together and just use a scrunchie to secure. It doesn't have to be like that sleek. You know, because it's not going to show or anything, but i still want it to look. You know presentable and then, on the back, that's exactly the same thing that i'm going to do with slicking this hair. All the way down you guys can see that my hair is this 4c hair and it's really hard to sleek down, but with this gel right here it works like a charm. Okay. So, as i was telling you, this is very easy, very beginner friendly. You can actually do this and actually get to work. The same day like this took me 15 minutes when i'm telling you 15., okay, i'm just gon na take my um my edge brush. You know my little edge brush and i'm using the same eco style in gel just to make sure my edges are looking really nice and on fleek. Okay, that's all i'm doing right there, and then i love this styling strips you know just to make sure my hair is laid all the way down says all right guys. So i'm going to be using this jamaican bounce african collection, crochet hair, and it comes five in a pack they're about 22 pieces in each pack guys. So this is what i'm doing, i'm just taking the hair out and you know separating it. You know just the way, i'm doing right here and um actually i'll be using like about 12 for the front and then i'll be using the one whole pack for the back. So i have three remaining packs and i'll use that for another style. You already know you already know you already know anyway, so i'm taking the 12 and just putting a scrunchie on it and then i'll take the scrunchie and just place that on my head scissors. So that's the way, i'm doing it right there and then i'm just gon na flip it just the way. I did it right there and then i'm just going to take a little bit of the piece and you know start going around with it making this into. Like a really nice, realistic, hairstyle and using some bobby pins just to make sure it's really nice and secure, and that's exactly what i'm doing with the back again, you know just placing it on my head and then i'll just flip it just the way. I did right there and take a few pieces on the side and you know just to make sure it looks really nice and realistic, and actually it makes it stay. It'S like securing the hair on my head, apart from just securing with the scrunch assist that way. It looks like it is growing out of my scalp, and actually this helps it to secure it more because you don't want this to be moving at all since and what i'm doing is i'm just going to start separating the hair? If you want, you can actually rock it this way just the way i did right here, but you know me, i like some big hair, don't care or whatever. So that's what i'm doing right there, just separating all the pieces into two and i'm just taking some scissors just to make sure i'm just shaping it. To my face. Okay and since when i tell you, this doll came all the way through. Yes, so that's what i was going for and this style did not disappoint. When i tell you, this is really really nice and cute very elegant very easy to do, but you know looking like a hundred million dollars. Okay, this is the second style i'm going to be using this tz 60 inch braiding hair, and it comes three in a pack i'll be using all three of them guys. So i'm just taking it straight out of the pack and putting a scrunchie on it and then placing it on my head. So what i'm doing is i'm just gon na twist it all the way down and then i'll have the other ones twisted on the side. I'M taking a little, you know, um rubber band and just securing the bottom. That way, you know it's really nice and secure and i'm placing the second one on the back right there. So i'm gon na start with the front, so i'm just gon na flip it and try to make this into a really nice. You know cute bun and you know me: i got ta use some bobby pins to secure just make sure it's really nice and secure, and you know it's very easy to do. Oh, my gosh, like all these little styles, that i'm doing right here, anybody can achieve. Then the back as well, i'm just going to flip it and start making this into a little bun. So that's what i'm doing right there and placing you know bobby pins just to make sure it's really nice and secure, and then i'm just going to take another one and place it on the side right there and you know start going around with it. So i'm just going to tuck it in right there and make this into a really nice um, elegant updo. You already know what it is by now. This is really really cute. This came through as well. Let me know which one is your favorite okay cause. Both of them are my faves, but i want to know which one you're rocking with okay. You know i cannot be the accessorizing queen without adding some accessories. So here we go. I got this accessories from amazon and baby. When i tell you, i turn myself into a whole bride. Okay, and this is really really cute. You can rock this. You know on your wedding day. You can actually rock this stuff. You seem to be changing them so often, like every week or so. Since they are protective styles, I would think that it would be good to keep them long enough to help grow someone's hair? By the way, have you noticed any significant growth on your hair since you started doing all these protective styles? I've seen many of your videos dating back close to a year ago and the length of your hair seems to be the same on all of them. Please correct me if I'm wrong .
