Welcome back to another episode of four hairstyles that broke off my natural hair. In today we are telling Alenia story: what's up people Jerry J here, hey and if you want to take control of your 4c hair life start today hit that subscribe button in that notification bill, that's jumpy! So, for those who don't know a linear Rene is a women's empowerment, blogger I'll leave her information in the description box below she started. A personal development YouTube channel called a linear Rene where she posted once a week and focuses on inspiring women to find joy in any season in life. Alenia story and I'm super excited like super excited. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to tell your story instead of doing like hair style. She put some bad habits in here too. So, let's talk about the four things that broke off her natural hair. So the first thing she labels is lack of understanding. When I first went natural, I had no idea what I was doing and my hair was hard and brittle girl. I most definitely understand that same here same yeah. I barely knew how to take care of relaxed hair like most naturals around me was still relaxing in here, so I turned to YouTube YouTube University. I mean that happened for me too, because you know this is not about me. This is not about me, but let me just say I have never watched a youtube video ever in my life until I went natural, so let's get back to her after months of negative energy from my family them saying that I was crazy for doing this. To my long hair, finding a routine like routine and understanding what was going on with my hair thanks to green beauty, green beauty, she'd, a girl like seriously. She, if you want write educational stuff, green beauty, is most def, so eating more vegetables and fruits and drinking more water Lucy pearl Lucy pearl is the name of her natural hair began to get healthier now I know, although each person hair journey is different, continue to Gain understanding, as you navigate having joy with your decision to go natural. Absolutely, oh, absolutely! I feel like okay, this is her recommendation. It'S not just mine! You should most definitely surround yourself around like-minded people with with anything that you do in life. So if you're going now sure you need that community to have in your pocket to ask questions, you know just that support of. Am I doing this right? These are my struggles. Do you relate what are you doing to improve or our company's up obstacles like? Yes, you definitely need that by the way. Thank you for joining our natural hair life. Facebook group, if you need a community of natural debt, is an awesome community of naturals, but thank you. I appreciate you being a member and okay second thing stretching my natural hair with heat all the time girl. I don't care how many people write in and let me share this story and if heat is one of the things that caused your natural hair to be damaged, tell me cuz we're gon na repeat that every tip Tuesday and sometimes Wednesday, we're gon na repeat it. I was in such a rush for my hair to grow, so I kept stretching it using a blow-dryer instead of using heat lips, Memphis mmm-hmm, so Lucy pearl, shout out to Lucy pearl begin to get thin at the ends. Now I embrace my shrinkage. Yes, embrace your shrink. Egde people like shrinkage is the number one sign that you're here is healthy. Like appreciate it, I get it it's, a struggle is hard to like stretch out, come whatever, but it's the number one sign that you're here is healthy dying in my natural hair. Will box die? Yes, I see this all the time. I'M not happy that you know your hair is damaged. I'M happy that you are sharing this information because believe me, it's people out there who continue to dye their hair and are just lost like I don't get why my hair is not growing. So thank you. Thank you. Adding chemicals to my hair did not take well. My hair started thinning and taking longer to grow. I believe for me. It wishes too early in my natural hair journey. I was only a year natural when I got bowled in went jet-black y'all. I thought this was a way to get a man girl. If you need to trap a man call me one 800-gallon corner. I help you out, don't dye your hair black, any other color, again y'all. I thought this was a way to for me to get a man. It wasn't. My hair wasn't ready for their life in maintaining and it made my hair even worse. Now I embrace what my hair looks like she doesn't mind it your ago, -- it cute. I don't know why you needed jet-black way. Your hair is cute. Okay, well, keep going last one more stir issues. Oh, yes, it seems to be an ongoing issue, but I find that not changing my products depending on the season and low Taoiseach messes messes me up in this picture. I was in hot Atlanta. In July I went unprepared and look a hot mess for the entire weekend, my hair, although it was soft and fly the products I was using, weighed my hair down, which caused me to have product overload and my twist out was a complete fail. Now i protect the style on vacation in having your go-to products in a travel size for fall, / winter or some summer, / spring to rehydrate, when you travel is a must, whether you use them or not, always having your staples on hand is so important. I mean I don't go nowhere because yeah I just I just don't have it like that, but if you travel you most definitely want to have your staple products on point. You most definitely want to have a satin line cap in your purse. You most definitely want to have a bonnet, a satin bonnet. So when you lay your head on that pillow you protect it, so that was fun that was so fun. I really appreciate you allowing me to share your story today. Like her, you are a hilarious like just too funny, and that goes for everyone. We can laugh and we can, you know, have some form of entertainment. When we talk about our struggles, it doesn't always have to be like serious. You know these were like my heart breaks and even though those struggles set us back, we are encouraging other naturals not to make those same mistakes. So it's kind of like a two foot, one. Let'S laugh, let's joke and let's help another natural right. So, in the spirit of love, I want you guys to just do two things for me. Just two things go in the comments below show her some love say. Thank you for allowing us your story. I really really appreciate you and to let me know who is your favorite natural hair youtuber? We just heard about green beauty, but tell us who is your favorite natural, hair youtuber, and why also because I'm feeling so loved, I wanted to show you guys. One of my presents that I got from Valentine's Day and if it doesn't show up because it's white on camera I'll try to take a picture and show it to you guys. Isn'T that the cutest thing ever so my they drew us together and he most definitely got my natural hair on point. So let me know what you guys think about my Valentines Day gift in the comments below. But again I appreciate you. If you want to share your stories, don't hesitate to email me. My email is in the description box below see you next time I'll see you next tip Tuesday and sometimes Wednesday next week, Oh probably tomorrow, because I'm pretty sure that I'll close some tomorrow too
