In other black girl magic news, 19-year old Kayla and 21-year old Keonna Davis have just become the youngest women to open a beauty supply in the state of California.

The new hair care store known as KD Hair Supply opened its doors last month and with the amount of times I have personally seen this story it looks like the girls are getting a ton of support.

This is definitely worth the attention it is getting, I mean how often have we reported a new black owned beauty supply store? In my own hometown I think we have just one! Then how many times do you hear about two black women becoming business owners at such young ages?

We all know that owning your own business is not easy, as a matter of fact any entrepreneur will tell you that you will work the hardest you have ever worked in your life.

The girls are lucky because they have youth on their side, they can take their time and grow with their business as things start to change for them. We appreciate the challenge of owning a black business in an area of the industry that is pretty much owned by the Chinese. We are sure though that they will get a ton of support from the community and do what it takes to spread the word about their new venture.

There is not a ton of information about the details of the store but we do know that it caters to natural hair and weave* hair customers and is open Mon -Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday from 9am-7:00pm and Sat from 9am-6pm.

The girls made sure to include an online order option for those of us who do not live in the Moreno Valley area but want to support them.

Congratulations to these two sisters who have taken on the overwhelming task of being business owners in such a high demand industry. They have our 100% support, if you want to learn more about the KD Hair Supply store, click here.
