Hello my name is Michelle Gibson. I have specialized in natural haircare for the last 13 years. I make my own customized natural cosmetics according to your individual needs. I am a licensed cosmetologist and am experienced in all your beauty needs including makeup, skin care and nails.

How long have you worked as a licensed cosmetologist (or equivalent in your country) and where did you study?

I have been licensed since 2013

What is your specialty, relaxed, natural hair, locs or anything special?

natural hair, locs and same day locs (similar to sista locs)

What in your opinion is the most rewarding thing about working as a hair stylist?

Love getting to know people and improve their mood by improving the way they feel about how they look

When you meet that customer that has not had a great experience with a previous stylist, how do you make them comfortable while in your chair?

I ask lots of question and search for what was missing from that experience and provide above and beyond what they expected.

If you could change one thing about the cosmetology industry what would that be?

the bad reputation that many salons have for making people wait all day because they think nobody else can do what that “diva” stylist can do

Where do you see yourself a few years from now, what are your goals as a stylist?

want to have my cosmetics internationally recognized, and a chain of salons.

How do you stay motivated and on top of your game?

My clients motivate me. Making them feel their best is motivation enough. I stay on top of my game by treating my clients like individuals who matter and are special parts of my life.

I cater to people who don’t want to go to a shop for a variety of reason, not wanting to be serviced in front of other clients, not wanting hear gossip, not wanting to wait. I come to your home or invite you into mine. I never overbook myself and your time with me is your time.
