Growing Out Your TWA That Use To Be A Fade Isn’t Easy- We Have 3 Suggestions For Styling Y

TWAThis video is probably one of the most hilarious videos I have seen in a while and even though Mahoganyknots is known for her very funny and down to earth personality she still gets me every time.

Listen ladies this is really a serious thing, because even though many of us love cutting our TWA’s into nice shapes and fades once we decide to grow that joint back out you might end up with some uneven growth that isn’t great for styling. The options for styling your growing hair might be few and far between but we have some none the less!

1. Start over

When I say start over I mean go to the barber and get an even hair cut for your grow out. That way you will have all of your hair grow out at relatively the same pace making your hair appear even all the way around.

We know this might not be the most favorite option especially if you have a lot of hair on the top but it is still an option.

2. Accessories

You will notice towards the end of the video Kiki eventually finds an accessory that works for her, it is stylish, it works for her curls and it works for the grow out process.

Sometimes you might have to rock a signature style for a while until the hair starts to do what you need it to do to fit your individual style.

3. Extensions*

If you are the type of person that doesn’t mind rocking hair extensions* then you will have more styling options with added hair plus its fun.

Some of us like to get creative in that manner and some of us do not, it is all dependent on what you like.

4. Use perm rods*

Tiny perm rods* can shrink your longer hair by making even tighter curls than gel or other wet styling products would.

That way you can create the illusion of shorter hair all around while your hair grows out. I love perm rods*, so if you do not have a set I suggest you go out and get some. The smallest perm rods* are either Blue or yellow, check with your local Sallys store!
