2022 Make Up Routine + Slicked Back Updo Hairstyle For Black Girls | Only Bells

Hey babe hope, you're doing well hello. If you're new here my name is belles, and today we have this super cute, updo um. I was inspired by alexia demi as well as bella hadid kendall jenner. A lot of people have been pulling this like 2000s hairstyle, and i also did my makeup routine. I always do and talk to you guys a bit um. Everything was basically makeup based. Look hello, hello, hello! Oh, i haven't done one of these sit down videos in a minute. We are about to start off with my hair. I'Ve been seeing a lot of girls recently doing the hair up with like some pieces down. I feel like that's going to be the very two thousands i'm excited to do it all right um. What do i need? First, i'm gon na take like a serum just to soften up and moisturize my hair lightly, and then i'm just gon na part, where i want this two strands of hair to be okay. I think i just want the front part so taking this away and then putting wax on the rest of my hair brush you and i like using wax based products. So all the products i'm using, especially for my hair type, because it is type 4. I don't want my curls to come back if i use water-based products. This is actually my first time doing well, this type of hairstyle i've done like buns and pieces in the front, but um i've seen. I haven't watched euphoria yet, but i see everyone talk about it. I really need to get into it. Maybe this week hopefully but um, is it alexa, demi maddie maddie on the show, i'm not sure. Oh, don't quote me: i've been seeing her do this hairstyle and i really love it, and obviously black girls can also do it too. It'S just gon na take some heat most of the time or if you want to do it, natural heatless just slip. Your hair back and then just have the your curls come down. That would be super cute as well, so i just put my hair up kind of where i want it to we're going to take the bum out we're gon na take the pony out and redo. It, but just to get all the hairs, nice and slick as possible and just to see where i want it. I kind of want it not too high on my head back here. Yes, so now that it's up now, i can see the rest of my hair and how i want it to lay so it's the wrong side. Oh my hair, so look back all the way around. I get got to be spray spray on the hard part, a generous amount and just go to the back, really get those hairs, and if you want to be really concise, you can get a really small brush. This is my edge brush and really go over. You can do this with a hair dryer too, but maybe i'm too lazy for that i'll get as quick as possible. But if you want to get super super slick, the hair dryer over it just make sure it's not moving. I love, i pulled. Look it just lifts my face. I don't know if you can see. Why does this hairstyle remind me of secondary school? I swear. I had my hair like this little bit in the front high school secondary school. Just me, it's taking me back anyway. Take the bun out again well the pony out again now you've got the base, you can work on the bumps. The key to this hairstyle is also patience because bruh you might need to if it's not sticking the first time or second time, you might need to do it again, depending on how much of a perfectionist you are - and i also like gummy wax for my actual Edges, i don't like to use too much of it, because it does give me that white cast, but just a little bit on the edges goes a long way. I don't even want baby hairs of this hairstyle, like that. I want everything to be super sleek, the ones that can't reach we'll do a little something something like that very, very minuscule, baby eyes very minimal. Any hairs are still failing to listen, put a bobby bin and try and hide it as much as possible. So yeah you should have no bumps nice and sleek the back. My hair is not long enough for this hairstyle, so i'm going to lightly twist my hair and then makeup on, because my hair's, so short, i'm gon na have to bobby pin. Am i gon na bobby, pin it actually, i'm gon na put another hairband. So after finessing, my hair for absolutely ages, the longer your hair is the more cold. This hairstyle is going to look on you and the shorter your hair is. You might need to use some hair extensions, but i think it's super cute anyway, i'm going to go in with my ghd straighteners. This is, i think this is the platinum plus edition and i'm actually going to pop my hair into in four sections to really get to the root of my hair. We tried this hairstyle out together. If i find a new technique that works - and that is less, i don't know less work needed or a way to perfect it. I will do a real, but for now i'm just gon na. Oh, so, just to make sure the back of my hair was slit as well as the rest of my hair. I just went in with got to be again and then wrapped my hair up with a satin scarf and now i'm about to take it off. I left it on for about five minutes. Where is her? What'S not? Yes, i got them. I'M going to prime my favorite thing to prime with is the milk hydro grip? Oh my gosh, i'm so late to the trend. I know but uh i'm here now, so i like to go in with this. First all around the face and my prep now is so important because my base is the main thing. The rest is very easy minimal. I kind of like um when i haven't got too much makeup on my face. Um i mean i still have makeup or like quite a bit, but it's not heavy heavy glass and then i go in with porefessional. This is a professional primer love this. This is by benefit, and then i just go over my t-zone area and areas of my pores are quite enlarged. Just so i've got a nice smooth canvas done. You see it kind of stops. The shine. I'Ve got oily skin. So just for reference for you guys. All your skin dry scalp, it doesn't really make sense, but anyway i like to then go in with my two favorite favorite favorite products by charlotte tilbury. This is the hollywood flawless filter. I used to think this was foundation, but you can wear it like a foundation. If you have um you like your skin, you want it to look really natural, just like a tinted moisturizer but better, and then i go in with the beautiful skin foundation. This shade for the flawless filter is in the shade, 6.5 deep and then this one is in warm shoe. I don't know how to say it. Let me show you guys: how do you say that i can't say it properly, so i'm gon na go in with this one first, i feel like this one like color, corrects for me, because it's a bit darker than my skin, so like colorful crooks and like Cancels out sometimes the bottom half of my face looks great in makeup. I don't know if that's hyperpigmentation, i don't know what it is. I just don't like it. So i put quite a bit there and then the rest everywhere else. I tend not to really put foundation or makeup like that on my forehead, because i want it to kind of just blend into my skin and i have to put it into my hairline. I miss doing these videos. I haven't done them in so long like sit down just show you guys what i've been liking using everything i'm gon na go in with the beauty sponge. This is the rems co creations. If you know me, you know i've been speaking about this for ages. I love love, love, love, it discovered it during lockdown. I believe, and i can't be without it. Yes, you see the color, i love it. It gives me nice, vibrant, doesn't it's not it's not heavy at all, but it's it's a good. It'S a nice base. I could, if i obviously didn't really care about my dark marks. I just leave it out here and then going in with the foundation i do about like one and a half pumps once again around my mouth area, because this is my problem area. I don't like to take it too far up. Why is this hair trying to be in the video back up, love this foundation and it's such a perfect match for me? I love it so much. I'Ve got all these lights, so sometimes it looks like it's brighter or maybe a little bit mismatched, but in person i'm telling you it's blending right into my skin. I promise you and i'd say it's like medium coverage, not full, but definitely medium light to medium coverage. It'S definitely buildable, then i go in with my holy grail, oldie, but biddy. This is a too faced born this way, concealer in the shade butterscotch. I put this baby all over. My dark marks still everything with this sponge. I just like it. It just does what it does now, i'm thinking about how much i actually really need to watch euphoria. Did i say you for what show did i say i hope i sent you for it yeah. I need to watch it. I need to sit down and just binge it because it's only been two seasons right, so i can catch up. The girl is over there really having the beauty, the fashions the looks. I love it. My stomach is rumbling. I don't know if you can hear that, but my son is ready to eat i'm off to dinner and i just want to look cute and show you guys what all righty i'm going to go in with my fave contour stick, which is actually a foundation. This is the benefit airstick foundation. This is in the number. This is in the number 10.. I like this color because it's like quite like a warm bronzy type of color. Basically, i went for a color that would be very close to a bronzer, because i, like the bronze, look not so much the contour at all. I don't really like a contoured face anymore, like that shadowy grayish type of makeup. No thanks nope! I want to look sun kissed, always and always start with a bronzer. So then, i can brighten up and see how bright i want to go and i feel like, if you put the concealer after it just looks brighter than before, because the bronzer will take that bright eye away. And you guys know me: i love a bright eye and i also like to have it as like a base for my eyeshadow. So i definitely push that in and i don't really care about super contoured nose. I'M really unbothered about it. So then for concealer. I absolutely love the anastasia beverly hills and this is their concealer in the shade 16. The magic touch concealer this one's i used to this one's close to my skin. So i put it here down the bridge of my nose like a tiny bit till my eyes. Eyebrows chin mouth there we go. Oh my god, now my stomach. Oh my somebody's like come correct, listen we're about to eat! I haven't eaten in a while. That'S why and then back in with a sponge, i feel like using the same sponge helps melt everything together. I also like to take it under my cheek love this shade. I love it. It'S a nice bright color, not too bright, even though i mean with concealer. Can you ever go too bright? Can you ever go too bright? There'S no such thing, not with the uk. Girls, not with the girls from the uk, there's no such thing as too bright. Also, i've noticed how i leave my eyes bare um. I feel like the hype pigmentation once i used to do this when i was um back in union, never used to put like eye shadow on my eyes, um. You know who i learned it from. I learned it from um, osha and kayla kayla. I remember her tutorial years ago. She was just like i, i just leave my eyes bare and i did that and i just like the color it gives i put my bronzer on my eyes, but i just don't conceal it. I think it gives more of a sultry look but yeah try it try it see how you like it guys and then i go in with number 13. just to take it up a notch. Why not? Why don't you it's not that different! I put it here. Yes, bright under eye for me will never die out. I'M sorry i'll use it forever. I love a bright under eye. You'Ll always see me with somewhat of a brown under eye could be natural, but i need my under eyes concealed like this, and then we set with laura mercier babes. I love her. This is in the shade honey perfect once again for bright under eyes. Get it on my sponge tap off the excess apply underneath. I think jackie aina taught me this from watching one of her tutorials, i'm pretty sure it was jackie, tap off the excess apply underneath and i've just been using that ever since i forgot to put blush just before concealer it's okay, because i haven't put any product On my cheeks, one of my favorite products is the gogo tint by benefit it's this nice shade. It'S really vibrant a little goes a long way. Oh, i really wish i did this before concealer, but it's okay, i'm going to be real, careful make sure it's separate and i love this stippling brush by refine it and separate. Okay, gentle tap tap tap, tap, tap, don't blend. Am i getting carried away? I want more, i'm such a blush girl, i love blush, and sometimes i just put it on my eyes as well and chin forehead. I don't know, i'm sorry, i'm sorry this is this. Is the last time? No more! No more! I'M done. I promise love. It. Love it love it. I know some people were like. When are you going to start doing your eyebrows? Now, okay, we're going to come even more in for my brows. I really like benefit. Don'T i gosh. This is a precisely my brow by benefit. I like benefit, because it's the closest shade to my brows, i feel like sometimes some brow products are either either too light or too dark, and i focus just on the ends these days, just on enhancing make sure you brush up, and then i take the refi. This is the brow gel, i believe, and it's so good, there's a lot of products. So i try to get rid of rid of as much as possible and then i just it's. Okay, it's! Okay! It'S! Okay! It'S! Okay! It'S! My lashes are not top top, so we're gon na have to just finesse and put some like fake lashes. On top, i'm gon na cut up my aliexpress aliexpress um. No, these are the ardell wispy lashes. What'S wrong with me and i'm just gon na cut them up and then stick them around my eyes see how this works yeah. This is gon na work, but i'm gon na just cut up my lashes and do this. Forehead nose face powder from too faced. This is in the shade butterscotch again just around the face forehead, my nose area for lips, i'm just gon na take off this grim foundation lips so for lips. I go in with a brown lip liner. This one is for charlotte tilbury. This is in the shade. I believe it's foxy brown and then i go in with fenty beauty's lip cream in fenty glow. I love this shade and because my lips are really pink underneath normally they're, not this pink, i'm just going to use something to cancel out the pinkness. I, like the lipstick, queen lip gloss in the shade consort of coral. I don't know what that means anyway, i might go in with cork. Actually yeah, it's a bit of brown. It'S looking good! I'M gon na put some eyeliner going in with huda beauty's. What is this, the life liner, quick and easy? I love to go in with huda, beauty's um powder just to brighten up the under eye even more, and i use this brush also by huda beauty, and i just go in one more time just to brighten it up again. Do you see the difference and then for highlighter? I love this dior palette. This is the. What is this? The rose gold palette highlighter by dior beauty, work on the cheeks nose brows today, i'm feeling spicy. So i'm going to put it in my inner tear duct, because i used to do this and i don't anymore and then the all-nighter setting spray put quite a bit just to make sure everything blends, because we did use quite a few powders. You can push that into the skin powder, just to make sure everything is seamless.
