12 Ways To Style Box Braids | Faceovermatter

Alright guys, let's go ahead and get started, so what you'll need is some big, thick hair bows that can really hold these heavy braids. Then you'll need some bobby pins, which I just keep in this little bag here and you'll need some edge control. I like to use the jam that you can find in any hair supply stores the number one in the world which they say but anyway, so this first hairstyle is what I like to call well honest. I really don't have names for them, but this is something I usually do when I'm on the go, and I just we don't want all of those braids in my face, but I still want majority of my hair to be down. So what I do is just take basically the front edges, plus a little bit of the braids look behind it and just put those in a ponytail. So you don't need a big hair bow for this. You can use like a regular size, hair bow, but that's all I really had in handy right now, so I'm just going to tie that around the front of those and then I'm just basically gon na pull them all through. Just make sure all the braids are through and pull them tight just to create like this cute little ponytail at the tub on opposing it makes them look a little girl, but I think it's cute and it's flirty and it's quick and easy. So there you have it all right, let's move on so this hairstyle, so you go dinky this hairstyles, what I had in my second-to-last video, the golden eyeshadow and all that stuff. Basically, I just take the front edges like last time and I just tie it as if I was getting wedding coming. I'M not, and I just pull them just basically like if you're tying your shoes just pull them through and then what we're going to do is just tighten them and I'm going to take the rest of the braids and I'm going to wrap them around my head. So you just want to make sure the sides are even and all that stuff just place them behind your ear, just swap them across each other and pull them through just bring them back to the front. And then what you're going to do is in the ends. So that they won't move and it will stay pretty nice and tight. This is a look of course. If you just want something, quick and easy, but you still basically want your hair down. You just don't want the phrase in your face because I know having these braids they get everywhere and in your way. So I think this is an easy look if you just want to keep the braids out of your face, and I really you don't mess up your makeup, you have anything one or anything like that and just pin them through and there you go all right. So, moving on to the next hairstyle, this is my on-the-go quick and easy fun. So these hair cells are kind of folks focusing on just what's the top area. But what you can do is just take the edges and, of course, a little bit. Extra braids from the back side will behind those edges and you can add a bow to the top and then wrap it or you can do as I'm doing here, just basically twisting the braid and wrapping them. But, as you can see, if you do it the way that I'm doing it, it's going to cause the front edge raised to these long things. I had no motion. So if you don't want the brace to do that, you'll both first tighten it and then wrap the bun. So the edges will be like straight going back towards the fun, but I don't mind my braid, something like that hope. You know it is what it is, but throughout the video you'll see me kind of being a little sloppy with the braid. That'S only because I was just really trying to get the hairstyle done. It takes a little time and do some of these hairstyles. But you know if you're gon na do these just take your time just follow the steps and you'll be good to go just you know, don't be too rough with your hair, so they won't pull your hair out. Let'S go ahead and move to the next hairstyle. All right, so this one is quick and easy as well just focusing on the hitches, and this was another one of those hairstyles. If you don't want hair all in your face, but you still basically want your hair down. This is one of those to go so basically, what I just did is took all the way to one side I took just basically like the front edge braids and then some a little bit behind. I'M basically do basically like, if you're doing like cornrow braids, I'm not really sure what they're called, but basically just braiding them so they'll be flat to your head and I'm going to braid it towards it. So it can kind of go out towards the side and towards the back part of my head and then just going to braid it all the way down. I'M gon na put in a fast motion because I'm sure most of you guys know how to braid. So here I'm just going to be taking it the end, a piece of this braid and wrapping it all the way around my head, just as we did before and just going to wrap it to the end and in it just so. It'Ll stay just like that and in place, as you can see me, making some weird faces throughout the video. Some of these pins hurts trying to pin them through the braid, so just bear with me, as I do that so basically, this is the hairstyle. I think it's absolutely cute, you know, I think it's cute. I'Ve walked it. I'Ve rocked it before, and people like this. I think it's a cute, easy, braid and just you know, quick and easy, so here just keeping that braid in the front, I'm going to part the back part of my head in these two sections, and this might be a little difficult to explain. But as I was showing up before, of course, if you're doing these braids be a little bit neater with them, because, as you can see, I'm kind of being a little messy at them because we're not all together, but I'm just going to braid both sides into These big fat braids it wanted to around crimes sake. You know basically get it right or whatever. So then, I'm going to do the same thing, the other side's going to braid it all the way down. Now this hairstyle does take a little bit of time, because when I first started doing this hairstyle I had to keep doing it because it wasn't even and all the other stuff. Also, when you're doing for a hairstyles like this, you want to make sure that all of the braids get into the braid, because you don't want to just do all of that work and then have like one braid all the way in the back. That just didn't get any attention at all so because, as you can see, I did miss one braid, so just make sure that you pay attention to all of the braids and that they don't get left out and have just you know: random braids sticking around. So as long as you'll see I'm going to do the same thing that we'll see previously just going to wrap that bridges front hit into it'll stay in place, this braid is what's important and then, as you'll see, I'm going to be getting the back braid and I'M moving for having two that around the outside. So if you started braiding it from the right side, you want to wrap it around to the left and vice versa, so wrapping that braid around I'm going to try to keep it as close to the front of the head as I can and you can let A little flyaway hair you can pan that what you moved on e2i just place the braid right over top of it, which would be perfectly fine and I'm just going to pin them all together. Just so they'll all be in place and don't move hair cells like this most definitely you want to use enough pants. They do not pop out and, as you can see, that braid was left alone. I'M just I just have to take it out anyway. So this is basically the braid hairstyle. I actually love this. Some of you had requested that I do that hairstyle, because one of my other videos I had my hair was greater like this. A lot of you guys had asked for me to show you how to do that. There you go so this hairstyle is probably one really popular hairstyle that a lot of people use these grades, I'm not really sure the exact name, they call it. They call it like front fun, I think front big bond or something like that. So basically, we want to do is just pull tab, basically hat section, the hair in half and then just pull the front part all the way up to the front of your head and twist it like. I said before you can add a post first or you can just twist it but, like I said the braids will be much just diagonal motion. If you do do it that way, but it's up to you so here I'm going to take the big hair band and I'm going to put it around the hair first before I start, you know moving around with it just to make sure that all the hair Is in there, so I'm stumbling over my words: I'm horrible at this stuff, I'm just going to wrap the bow around just making sure to secure it tight all the braids are in they're locked in place and then we'll be ready to rock and roll some people. Rock the hair, so just like this by having the front button and then ponytail in the back, but I know sometimes the hair is so heavy that it does strain the back of your neck. So you can't leave it like this. I absolutely love this hairstyle. I think it's absolutely adorable, you can rock it like that or, as you can see I'm doing here, I'm going to wrap it around and you know make another bun. So I know I've tried that hairstyle with the ponytail before and I was sitting in class and I had to take my hair down close like oh, my god that ponytail is like killing my neck. So I had to take it down or like here. You can just add into a bun and that should relieve some of the heaviness on the hair. So I absolutely love this hairstyle, it's a little bit edgy. So this is one of the hair cells that I like during the summer time. I rock this when I was a speech last year. I really don't know how to explain it. Tara, Stiles, but I really like this one. This is basically like the first one that we did with little ponytail just having some extra hair sitting out. Basically, I think it was cute just adding a little hair at the front, just kind of adds a little bit of flirtiness. I guess you can say or just extra you know the hairstyles are told when we like a bun and in hair down in the back nice. Moving on to the next hairstyle. I like it this hairstyle because I mean it's been through the other one, just like the front bun, but it's like all of the braids and one as the front button. I'M not going to say it's quick and easy to go because it's a little hassle trying to put every single braid up nice and evenly because, as you can see, my braids are not that even and neatly distributed so like I said, if you're doing these hairstyles Just be careful and just make sure all the hairs get in there. This bond is kind of different than the regular bun, because it's more surprised because of all the hairs on top pushed forward into the bun is on top. I think it's cute. I think it's when you want to do execute updo, nothing too crazy, going on over the top, so I think it's really fun and nice looking and then here this is my. My other hairstyle doesn't really what I do on when I'm on the bill. I don't do the first hairstyle when I go to this one. When I want all the hair of my ponytail, I don't mind doing the ponytails going straight back. If you would back to do because, like I said before, the braids are really really heavy and they really do strength neck. So I like to put the bun, will put the ponytail like with me on top of my head. Just so all the way. On top of my head, so won't hurt my neck, so I'll rock it like this and keep pushing, but a lot of people want to call me dashiki when I have this hair, so I went from my college friends. They'Ll call me I should give they have that hair some go screw them whatever and then, like I said before, you have the regular fun and just kind of small on top of the head and step for head or I like actually on the face - and this Is quick and easy to go?
