Hey what's up YouTube, I major in the barber today's be on be doing a highball today, I'll be sitting here watching the video with you giving you step-by-step instructions. So let's go ahead and get into this video now to start this hour as always we're gon na prep, the hair brush it down call me: let's find the direction that the hair grows. So we know which way to proceed with the haircut as you can see. Going in brushing it all down, getting it all ready, prepping my surface, so I'm gon na take my wall Detailers to start out with I'm just gon na make my guideline. You can see I'm making a hard guideline. I turned my Clippers around and I'm just gon na start blogging the client. I start from that. The end of the point - and I just worked my way back kind of making a line that goes vertical sort of like that, like a slope going up towards the crown of the head and then I'm just gon na go ahead and turn my clickers around balled. It out now this particular client. I can't use a screen saver on them, because he'll break out your razor bumps, so, instead of using the screen shaver, all I'm gon na do is just turn my clippers around. I want to try to get the skin and get the hair down as bald as possible. You know without having to use the screen saver, so you see how I turn my Clippers around. This is gon na. Let me go down like a whole. Another level. Another thing I do is sometimes I use my t outline with my t outlines cut a lot closer than the Detailers do, and so a lot of times I'll do this with the detailer and I'll go back with my t, outliners and just just go over one More time try to get it as well as possible, and I'm gon na repeat the same steps on the other side, see how my line is kind of going up like a slope again towards the crown of the head, starting at the point working my way up And the same thing just going through balding out getting beginning as bald as possible. Now don't move off from this step until you completely finish and make sure you get get down to the skin, get it as clean as you possibly can before you move on and to any fading a lot of this when I start out with a lot of Prep work because we want to get that hair right. You know before we start the painting process, so I got my 1/8 blade now and I'm just gon na cut the hair with the grain and get a nice even surface like step. Two of the prep work of the fading, so I got my. I got the hair on the side down as close as possible to the skin without using a screen saver. If you can it's always, it's always great TV screen share, because you're always gon na give him an evening clean your cut, and now I'm gon na one again, just with the grain of the hair, getting it getting as smooth as I possibly can, and now in The back CSV collards, so what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na move up and I'm gon na take a higher blade or a higher guard, and for instance, here I grab my number two, and this is all gon na be faded out. So I'm not really too concerned with cutting it with the grain against the grain, so I'm just gon na cut it against the grain because I wanted like I said I want to get a nice even surface all the way around and so went ahead, knocked that Colic out against the grain, so it's not gon na. Take you any lower than that one. Eighty I have on top and right here I have my these are not fake masters. Don'T love pay attention to the play on the front of the Clipper. These are just regular antes masters and I got a zero guard on there and I got about halfway up and that's lonely. Wear your clothes. What I'm doing is just trimming down the hairline, so this is just getting it ready. So I can get a super clean. Hairline we just see at the end of the video I begin. This is just prep work before I get into the lining process or get into the bathing process or anything so my zero. I have it all the way, almost all the way close now and I'm just working that line just getting that hair of the laid down. So we can get a nice smooth line up now, I'm taking my number zero guard. Now I'm gon na start the fading process and I'm just gon na go in, and I'm gon na make a almost like a second guideline, basic rating or like another weight line, the game just gon na. Do this all the way around the head in this video? I'M just gon na do half of this and then you're gon na see the whole haircut, but I'm gon na do this half then I'm gon na work on the back of the haircut. Then I'm gon na go over to the to the right side. You'Ll see when I get to the right side, I have a way smaller part to finish off, and so after I make that initial. That second, a second guideline that way by I'm gon na just move that zero guard up and just work. My way up into the top of the head, so you see I'm just feathering the hair. I'M really light handed with my Clippers all wrist action, not using not using your whole arm going in you're, not not cutting like this. I'M just cutting like this and then again, once I'm done with the halfway mark, i'ma move it open up the lever all the way and I'm just gon na go in and we start blending it into the top. Now, you're not gon na be able to exactly blend it into the top. I mean with his hair, I'm not exactly able to blend into the top just using the zero, so I'm gon na work my way up into a 1. What I'm about to get in here into this next scene, you'll, see me finish it off with the one going into the top we're just trying to get as clean as a transition, as we possibly can. Imagine that the guard is in the eraser and the line is the line you drew with the pencil and you want to race that line as best as you possibly can. So you can't see it anymore now, here, I'm gon na take my number one guard and I'm just gon na finish off that weight line. I'M gon na go ahead. I'M gon na close them all the way with my masters and I'm just gon na. Do the same exact technique? I just did where I start with some clothes and work them all the way open, just blending that hair into the top. So again, on top I've won a blade with the grain and now I'm finishing off with a one guard and like so when I finish it I'll. Have it all the way open going against the ground just get a nice little transition into the top of the head? You see, I got them almost all the way up and now and again don't move on from this step until you're completely done blending that hair. Oh, no, after I'm done blooming that those wait lines in I'm go ahead and I'm gon na take the guard off. I'M gon na close, my Master's all the way and if you're, using detachable blades this is uh. This is the same as a 3-0 blade or a three yacht, whatever you want to call it, I'm just gon na start to knock out that bottom guide line. The initial guide line I made - and that is this - is a hard guy looking to get out. Sometimes, if you don't have your masters erode after your scenes, whatever using zero gap, you're, probably not gon na - be able to get it all the way blend it out. So what you'll do is I made that line with the detailer, so I'm gon na take my detailer again and I'll go back in you'll, see here soon and I'm just gon na knock that out just really really light handed and again same exact technique with my Masters started with modeling clothes, you're gon na see that I'm gon na slowly open them up as I move up. So I'm gon na go about half way right now and continue to blend out that extra way that I created now. What we want to do with this line is we want to blend this line into that level that we just blend it out? You can't appreciate everybody tuning into the hair heroes podcast on Tuesday nights. You have to check the W and make sure you get over to check it out Tuesday, night 8:30 Central Standard Time. Now here we go. I got my masters all the way open, no guard which is equal to one blade. So if you're not familiar, go back and watch my last video I'll deal with the guards and blades, and that will give you all the different dimensions, you know what guards are compared to blade and now it's just really a lot of cleanup work. So I'm gon na use my mirror and I'm going to just kind of go back and forth. Looking in the mirror finding any spots that you know I may have missed and I'm just kind of playing with the lever - and you know just blend it out any any dark spots, I see again, we want to make that transition as smooth as possible. Like I said earlier see I take my Detailers being really really light hand because I don't want to create another line and just knocking up any any of that initial guide line. I still have left in there. So just take your time super light, handy, don't press it off because it's easy to put in another line again: you're gon na stay just right on that bottom guideline, not raising the thing up. You just want to knock out any anything. Any of that line see. I got a little cleanup work. I can do everything so I'm just gon na open up my masters, all the way again equal to a number one just blend that out get with your masters masters all the way close or equal to a 3-0 blade. So if we're talking about blades Nygaard, the max was all the way close to a 3-0 blade. Halfway. Open is equal to 108 blade and all the way open is equal to a 1. So that's that's a good rule to go by when you're cutting and you're switching between detachable blades and adjustable Clippers. Now on the back, I'm using the same technique and you see his hair grows in all different directions. So what I'm trying to do is just find the direction of his hair growth and go against it. Just like I said in the beginning, when we're brushing the hair, we're combing the hair to get started, we're trying to find the direction the hair grows. So we know what path we need to take to get a clean plan to tell people that. So that's a super important step, because you don't want to just jump into cutting hair and not know which way the hair grows. It only takes a couple seconds just to brush it down, see what's going on, and so you know again, super super important same techniques, masters all the clothes I used. My zero worked my zero and then I switched to my one place or one guard work. My one guard just getting a smooth transition into the top again going. You know against the grain of the hair so to get that could take a transition. You got to go against the grain of the hair, and here I'm just kind of playing with the lever. Halfway up right now and just kind of trying to find my find my level that I need to blend out certain spots like I said that that can get really tricky. A lot of people have trouble with the back. The sides are easier just because they're flat and then you get to the back and you got this round surface you're trying to fade and it could be complicated if you don't know what you're doing so again, like I said, I'm just a lot of this. A lot of it I know already, is because I customized hair, so I know where I need to be with certain lengths. We knew barbers I'd, say open that lever up all the way and play it safe. You can always start long and go short because you can always take the hair shorter. Once you go too short, then you got yourself in a position where you can't go bad, and now you see how it worked. Muscle we're working my way around the head started with the left side. I blend out the back. Now I get to the right side only got this small piece of need left the fame. Now they saw going again same techniques got my zero guard. All the way closed making that second guy and there's a really soft line, I'm blending out halfway continuing just to knock it out and then I'll open it all the way and then I'll move on to my 1:00 and blend that hair into the top of the Haircut again, I got a one: a blade against the grain of the hair and I'll be finishing it off with a one guard going against the grinder here, and these are. These are tricky spots to blend. Like I said you got to make sure you know which way the hair grows on the right side. It might grow a different direction than what it does on the left side. Don'T just cut it one way thinking they grew the same way on both sides. Cuz most people - it's not this blue, that's not good. It'S not the way. Their hair grows, my one garden out and you can see just a little bit little amount of weight. I have left on top and I'm just gon na work that out again I'm really really light handed with my clippers. Like I don't press, I don't have a lot of pressure. You'D, really light-handed feather in the hair, trying to get a nice soft smooth transition again. Finding direction the hair grows going against it. You can see on the right side, it grows a little bit different ended on the left side, so I mean I got ta, take a different approach. We'Re blending that so I can get the same effects on both sides. Masters all the way close again equal to your 3-0 blade blending out that bottom line halfway open. If you guys got any questions just hit me up, man leave me a message. You know I'm happy to answer any question you guys have. I tried about try to break down barbering and make it as simple as possible, because when this is something you're jumping into, if you don't know a lot of the terms, a lot of the lingo is using the shop, then you know it can be complicated and It can be intimidating for some people and so, like I said, my Chan is all about making Barberie as easy as possible teaching you guys that the best ways to go about fake and I'll show you other ways as well. I have a few different ways. I like to say, and so I'm gon na definitely show you guys on different ways and again right here, I'm just kind of playing around with the lever trying to find you know what length is going to take out what start a certain spot. In fact, on my Detailers again, just hitting any you know any of that line here give me that line as faintly left there's just going in and knocking it out and again for this process use your meter, like your mirror, excited and probably every haircut tutorial. I'Ve done and mirrors gon na tell you exactly what you need to do to fix the haircut any spots. You see, you know, you'll, see it in a minute. You'Ll be able to go on fix it. That'S the final final product with the fading on we'll go ahead and get into the lineup of the haircut first thing. I'M gon na do is take some rubbing. Alcohol I like to dry off the skin. Just helps you get a crispier hairline you when you go about this process, so I just take a next drill spray. Some alcohol on it. Just rub it down on the hairline. No hair always cuts the best ones just washed. You know the clean of the hair. Better is going to cut now, I'm taking my blow-dryer, I'm just gon na dry. It I just want the hair to be obviously wants to be dry to the touch. Y'All get the best line up. Then the hair is completely dry. I'M using my Detailers, I'm actually gon na finish this line up them. Aunty outlines cut my detail to start acting funny after after I was shooting this part so again trying to stay on the natural hair line as best as possible, while at the same time trying to get a nice even even line up. You see I'm just doing a lot of tapping and pulling away and dispenses to the technique. You see, I'm moving, not not putting a lot of pressure, I'm being real soft with the tremors when you ever tremble zero gap is super easy to cut people. You don't want to be sitting there, putting a whole bunch of pressure. You know. Thank you, gon na be doing some just let the Clippers work for you, like the Clippers. If you got your Clippers, are just the right, they're gon na do everything you need them to do. You see tapping a pole away again using your mirror on the on the lineup. It'S a great way to keep the lineup. Even it could be intimidating. Sometimes, when you just start a lineup and not saying your turn, your client in the mirror, it may not be even you like them, questioning you or wondering if you don't know what you're doing, but that's gon na be probably the best way to help you find Out you know if the lines straight or not, and then you can go back and you can kind of make the adjustments you need. So that was just the final product. That'S just shown with the natural haircut and line up now, I'm just gon na take some topic and just throw a little topping on here. I like using topic just because it's quick, it's not dirty like. I said it only takes like 30 seconds to apply topically somebody's hair. It'S a good way, it's a good enhancement, especially like just for patient purposes, and things like that. I wouldn't recommend it. You know for long term topics like a one-day type of thing when it comes to enhancements, if you're, looking for any enhancement that you can wear for a longer amount of time or you know, go with like kiss Express or something like that, I guess I'll. Try to stay away from Beijing, I cannot stand between it's such a mess, but topic is stop thinking. Something is a good way to finish off your haircut and you see, all I'm doing is just already made the hairline. So once you want to apply an enhancement, you don't have to go back and really redo the hairline. All you're doing is kind of tracing over the hairline just to clean stuff up you're not like what I'm doing here is mostly like removing any excess topic. That'S on his forehead, and so you don't you don't have to go in and try to recreate a hairline, see a lot of people. They'Ll put their hand on and then all sudden when the client goes to wash it off. They push their hairline back because they were trying to do too much. What'S a enhanced already, so the hands moods can be tricky. You got to make sure that you know you know exactly what you couldn't so this is the final haircut appreciate you guys tuning in the gain this bands from the barber subscribe to the channel, hit that notification bell and stay tuned for the next haircut to toriel.
