Hello and welcome back to another video for final fantasy 14, this time we're looking at more stuff added to the final fantasy 14 online store, specifically today, the 3rd of june 2022, and, as you can see, the main new focus. Is this the lisa's leadership attire? Along with this, we also have a return of last year's event items, including the emote vexed, if you didn't pick that up so we'll look at that in a second and there's also a sale on as well uh with previous event rewards as well being available for 81 pence, as you can see here, we'll look at the prices in just a second, but let's look at this outfit first, so this lease leadership attire is specifically designed for female characters. Of course, this is a gender locked piece and it is a one piece attire. It is not a multiple piece outfit. Unfortunately, it is available, however, to all female characters. Level, 1 and above and as you can see, vieira is not excluded this time and it looks pretty good on a viera. I'Ll be perfectly honest, we'll look in the game in a second but, as you can see, there's a preview that they have on various different characters of different race, the price. Then it is eight pound 63 pence in the united kingdom in the united states of america. That'S 15 u.s dollars and in euros, that's 10 euros, 50 cents and in uh yen, the final currency, 1. 650. So that's how much you're going to be paying for that particular set of attire. Unfortunately, again this is an undyable uh, gender locked one piece, not my favorite. You know thing in the universe, but you also get the hairstyle um, which is the main thing that most people will gravitate towards simply just having access to that. Hairstyle is going to be quite interesting, we'll look at that in just a second just to look at the things, then the other items so just to remind you, the vexed emote will be two us dollars, uh in euros, that is one euro forty uh in yen. That is 220 yen and obviously in great british pounds, that's one pound fifteen. It looks well like this. Basically, it is just the vex d moat from the previous year, of course, on sale. We have um the consider emote senor sabatenda eureka and the trophy housing item. Uh three emotes and a housing item uh with those prices listed there in dollars; that's one dollar, forty cents for the emotes and three dollars. Fifty for the housing item and in euros we have ninety eight cents, uh, 30 emotes and 2 euros 45 for the housing item in particular and finally yen. We have 154 yen per emote and 385 yen per uh housing item for this. Those are the only items on sale currently and only the new items. So let's move into the game and look at the lisa's leadership attire on actual characters. Okay, let's address the bunny in the room. First, since that's the thing that most people will be looking at with this hairstyle, so this is what it looks like on viera. This is my fantasia alternate character. As you can see, we have a fair bit of length here with the actual hairstyle. It looks pretty good honestly, it has this clasp and goes quite well with the ears. One of the big details to pay attention to here is when they usually recycle or reinvent hairstyles for viera. In the more recent times it has looked rather unnatural, at least with this hair. It doesn't look quite as striking, and the differences are much less noticeable. It does look quite nice. I like the way that it sits where it does it. It just fits quite well. Actually, in my personal opinion, but obviously yours will vary. Let'S have a quick look at different hair colors. Obviously, on this this is with highlight setting. Let'S turn the highlights off, but yeah you get what you get basically, but it is a nice looking hairstyle and does blending quite well with the ears. I think personally uh, like i say it's not as striking as a difference as say, for instance, some of the other cash shop hairstyles, that we have seen added to the game more recently um for vieira to be able to use. But yes, it is nice vieira included. That is very good. Now we just have to get rid of the gender locks so that other people would be able to use this, and then i would be much happier overall. But yes, that's what it looks like on viera right, so we're in natural daylight. Now, in the middle of the day, i'm in g pose. So we can pause time uh and let's pan around this, so you get a good idea of how the colors pop in natural light. I think that's very important when you do a showcase video is to show what it looks like in you know the conditions you're going to see it in the game. As you can see, the red is very, you know eye-catching. It'S got that kind of velveteen thing going on with it. The hairstyle really does complement this outfit. Obviously, because it's you know designed to be part of that character, but the more i look at that hairstyle the more i might keep it on my character for a while, but the outfit is quite nice. It is just a shame that we can't mix and match parts of it. I would love to take those sleeves, for example, and combine them with something else. They remind me very much of like a velveteen version of the thavenerian hamlets, the skirt, for example. I mean i can understand, like the main robe part is attached, but why can't we have those leggings as a separate piece? Why can't that piece at the top be an actual necklace? You know what i mean. Why can't these shoes actually be shoes that are separate? It'S one of the things that i'm you know we're. We'Ve got a big danger towards a big problem, with the way that glamour works in this game, especially with a cash shop, is that it seems like they have been complacent. With these you know single use items uh, expecting people to be happy with them, but really at the end of the day. A lot of the you know, glamour creation and the things that make people want to look unique, are mixing and matching. So when you add things like this, it is a massive tease as to what would potentially be possible again. This is old news. They'Ve done outfits like this before we've seen this with quite a few, but we've also seen outfits added to the game that aren't single items that aren't just a left side replacer that you have to use as a glamour plate. So hopefully we see less of this and more separate pieces and hopefully less gender locking, um, i'm sure there's plenty of people who would love one day for us to see you know character, specific glamours across genders. It might not make sense to everyone and it's not everyone's understanding, but personally, i think that this is a step in a completely different direction. In my personal opinion, but yeah my you know straight up 100, honest feedback from this - it's probably worth it for the hairstyle alone, um, but again the hairstyle is actually locked to female characters. I actually tried it on a male character before i fantasied and you can actually learn the hairstyle, but you can't actually use it. Don'T understand why you can't use the hairstyle that that doesn't make sense at all to me. Additionally, i thought we'd do a test of seeing what the physics work like uh, when you're running you'll see that they've actually figured out a way of preventing a lot of extra clipping, or at least with my makote here by actually um. You know positioning the hair better and toning down some of the physic elements, as you can see. Normally, when you run around with a long hairstyle, it flows through your character's back. So if they're able to do this with this particular hairstyle, you would imagine that it could be retroactive and they might update the other hairstyles. That'S something i would hope in the future, but usually bobbing around like this. You would expect your hairstyle to be clipping through, especially with its length, which is really really good anyway. Let me know if you're gon na pick this one up. I know there's a bunch of vieira out there that are begging for new hairstyles with their limited arsenal and um yeah. It'S a really nice hairstyle. Miqo Tesoulia: glad you brought up the issue with these kinds of glams. The only plus side I see is that it doesnt take up alot of inventory cause its jsut one item. and on that NOTE we need store bought items to go into Armoire already.

Rumour13: mixing and matching is all well and good, but in regards to the limited space in your glamour dresser, i feel there's a balance that needs to be struck between having outfits made of multiple pieces and outfits that come as a one-piece. the only major complaints i have with this outfit is the lack of a dye option and the gender lock. i've wanted this outfit for my wol since i saw lyse swap to it during sb, so there is much bunboi sadness going on with me right now lol

Selene Lumi: honestly I freaking loooove this outfit and the hair, theyre such an iconic look from the game ♥️ but.. the fact that the outfit is a one piece and that you cannot dye it just makes me low-key second guess buying it.. might as well wait until its on sale or something
SampoPaalanen: I can see the fact it's so low cut causing issues with Miqo tails (and possibly Aura ones as well) and some emotes as the models weren't really made to show the tail against bare skin was with some emotes the base of the tail could look like it disappears into your back (with most gear the base of Miqo'te's tail would hidden under cloth of some sort). Of course this could not be an issue to you but for me at least I could see it being an issue as something I like about my Miqo is how expressive the tail is with emotes.
Death Boy: It’s a shame it didn’t come with her weapon, I always found it so cool seeing her use it in cutscenes.
Zynrah: Yeah the hairstyle makes it better but it's really a bummer that the outfit isn't even dyable. Like, it could easily be a 4 piece set and hard dyable on the red portion. I would immediately purchase the outfit and pay much more for it without a a second thought if it were multiple pieces. As it stands I don't see myself grabbing this one until I feel like picking it up just for the hair alone. Glam dresser space is at a premium right now. New sets need to be worth the space they take up. This doesn't earn a spot for me.
Inconvenient Facts: Finally a new hairstyle that has longer ponytail with nice bangs.

Henny Zhi: I'm more or less just completing the tail end of Stormblood's patch quests and I'm very surprised her outfit wasn't on the Mogstation already. You'd think they would want to capitalize on the most recent expansion and not 3 or so more down the line.

biggs hoverwelder: I wish you could buy the hair separately, I'd happily pay 5 to 10 bucks to be able to get Y'ishtola's and Lyse's hairs separately from their outfits, I don't particularly like their outfits because they're not diable and I don't want to pay the extra 5 10 bucks for something I won't use.

Chris Keppler: Pretty much agree on the rant here, though for me the biggest kicker is not being able to dye it. Being female only doesn't really impact me as I play a femiqo anyway but I know it would bother others a lot. But being a one piece undyeable kind of kills it for me and relegates it to the "maybe if it ever goes on extreme sake" category. I do like the hair somewhat but, again, I'm not going to pay $20 CAD for a single hairstyle I only kind of like.
Biddy Batnana: Différent opinion on the physics, I hate when they tone it done or rig it to the body as they did with Viera female hairstyles… it feels so stiff.. compared to roe female long hairstyles that move and sway… and let’s be honest the clipping ain’t massive compared to second life. Lol

Mark Diplock: While I like the outfit and have wanted it as a glamour item, I echo Meoni's disappointment. I'd be happier if they'd just allow it to be dyed, that would at least get more use out of it. I'm sure there must be some technical reason for not giving us options like that but I want to call this out as "lazy" That said, the hairstyle is nice and worth the real money.

neitherlink: I *love* those pants, and quite like the shoes. The thing is, first of all, I’m male, so I don’t think the top will look very good, and secondly, I don’t want to copy an NPCs attire completely. I don’t know why they are doing this right now, but they’ve just lost a buyer for the set.

I wish people would stop complaining when they give us nice things, I’ve been waiting forever for this outfit since I saw the stormblood trailer, it would look goofy if males wear it, trust me, as much as I personally wish I can wear it as a cross dressing dude, it would just look dumb on me.
206Zelda: None of these things will be limited-time, right? Some things that would look stunning on a Lalafell, for instance, do not necessarily look or transition to Viera, and I'm always worried that I'll miss out if I don't make an alternative character when I've put so much into the original.

K: its a nice hair style but ive kept the rainmaker hair since it came out. it just feels wrong to use any other hairstyle for me even though i think there are a few that look really good. not a fan of one item outfits so i might give this one a pass honestly. That being said, if they ever did a 7remake tifa outfit regardless of if it was a single item or separated pieces I will buy it in a heartbeat. but i know that will never be a thing. still looking forward to the other leaked outfits though hope they come soon!

I absolutely *love* this outfit but I'm less about wanting to look like another character and more about wanting to customize my character to be unique with the options available. My dream is to have that top be colored black or green, which would fit my Viera's current color scheme extremely well. But since I can't do that, I won't be getting it. Like for real - this was the only outfit so far I actually would put down money to get. But no recoloring, no mix and matching, no buy. Glad to see the hair style isn't locked for Viera at least, but I'm happy with my current. Odd males can't though.

bicks: I could be talking out of my ass, but don't they only do the one piece thing for character outfits? IMO they should still be making them into separate parts for the price of a months sub, but my guess is it has to do with how the outfits are originally modelled when they aren't intended for player characters
