Jeck: If Steve was able to survive the bat bites, then there must be a chance of Eddie surviving it but maybe with just a more severe condition. Let's say he was able to move out at the gate opened at Fred's death (Nancy's colleague) after dustin left him thinking he was already dead, then some people help him out recover from the wounds and of course being badly hurt he wouldn't be able to show up to the gang for a couple days. Then in season 5, somehow Dustin or Steve finds him. I'm sure it will be great for the series. PS: Forgive me please. I'm just fantasizing

Ben: I HAVE A THEORY!!!!! Eddie got 'killed' by bats, right? The Kas theory says that like Kas in D&D, Eddie will turn into a vampire and become Vecna's right hand man and eventually turn on him and kill him. In D&D, vampires are created when another vampire 'drains the life out of a living creature'. There are many different types of vapires in D&D, including Swarmform Vampires, which have the ability to assume the form of a swarm of creatures, so I'm thinking that the swarm of bats that attacked Eddie were actually a Swarmform Vampire, and that would lead onto the Kas theory. It would also explain how the Kas theory applies to Eddie and not to Steve; Steve also got bitten by bats, but there were only a few, unlike the swarm that attacked Eddie. Idk, I think the Duffer brothers based Eddie's character on Kas, so it would make sense.
A. M. S: I'm so glad that they released s4 in 2 volumes because it would have been so much harder not to get spoilered for Eddie's death earlier on and it really gives you the chance to come to love him as a character without knowing you'll lose him soon

Master or puppets came out about 3 weeks before the show is set (march 3rd 1986 and the show is set in spring break 1986 so around march 20's 1986) This guy learned the song within 3 weeks, during a time where the internet wasn't readily available and certainly not to him in his living situation. He learned an EXTREMELY difficult song, in the span of 3 weeks, using only his ears. God damn that dude is amazing.
