Beginner Friendly Wig Install | *Detailed* 13X4 24" Curly Wig Ft. Ali Grace

Is me is, and is 10 hey guys so um, i'm just gon na start with my hair like this. Now i'm not a good braider, so my hair is looking a little funky so far as the braids go, but it is what it is. We'Re gon na put a cap on anyway, so i'm gon na use uh one of these a caps. It'S not the one that came with the wig, but i am gon na use this cap because it's more closer to my um scalp and skin color. So we're going to start off by doing the ball cap method. Now, i'm sure y'all have seen plenty of videos on how to do the ball cap method so yeah. I pretty much start like this and if you guys see me looking down like this, because i do have a mirror in front of me so that i can see, i usually cut the ear part you got to be a little bit careful. You don't want to cut yourself. I usually do cut my ears out like that. So once i cut the ears out, i take my got to be glue and i just spray it along here and then i blow dry and let it dry and then once it dries, i you know: do the other steps i'm just going to fast forward through This part, because, honestly, you know, i don't want to just take up too much time trying to do a ball cap method, but y'all can watch me. Do it you guys. So if you guys do want to see how i do my ball cap method, i will have a video linked down below as well is up in the cards above and it will uh show you how i do my ball cap method in another one of my Wig tutorials, but yeah i'm just going to fast forward through this part because yeah i don't it's going to be a little too time consuming. So here we go my my so yeah i'm putting i'm gon na put two layers of glue um, just to make sure that it stays because you know this is not no quick, take down type of hairstyle, i'm definitely going to wear it. You know i'm saying this is the first layer and i'm just going to let it dry and then once the first layer dries, then i'm going to come back with a second layer, all right y'all. So, as you guys can see, the glitter is the glue. It'S clear and that's the first coat, so i'm going to go ahead and put the second coat of glue on now all right y'all. So our second coat is basically ready to go. So i'm going to take the clips off and we're going to go ahead and push this down so that we could go ahead and get this going so just want to make sure none of the hair is in the way all right. So i practically already had it where i wanted it, so we're gon na just place it on this side. First and i'm going to take my red tail comb and we're going to just push it into the lace. Now i didn't cut the ear tabs yet y'all. So i probably should have cut those first, but it's all good. We can still cut the ear tabs afterwards. So now we're going to make sure this side is done and exactly where we want it. No y'all can't see my face, but it's all good. We just want to make sure that that lace is getting melted into the glue, so next step we're going to do is we're going to cut right here right down the middle. I don't usually use scissors y'all because scissors, i don't know, i just feel like it's too much of a blunt cut, but when i do my ear tabs y'all i do like to use. This is because you got to get precise with that. You have to make sure that it's doing what you need to do. So it's pretty much like this, so i don't really have much to fit when it comes to the interest right here. I just kind of part it with my ears and then i move the hair out of the way. So i can know where to cut, and then i go on the other side and i basically cut with my ears like this one is pretty much there like. It'S it's literally just like fitting my head, like almost like it's custom made to my head down there. I ain't gon na lie so we're gon na move that out the way make sure it's not the way, so we're gon na go ahead and cut these ear. Tabs i'm gon na do this side. First now i'm gon na come over here and i'm gon na cut this side we're going to go ahead and cut this lace off bye. Thank you, hello, hey got those baby hairs curled up now. What i do next is, i take my edge brush and i take some wrapping lotion, which is, i use a lot of body and i basically just used it to lay my babies, foreign, no all right now. What we're going to do is we're going to take our contour powder, whatever we use for contour and we're going to bronzer or whatever you want to call it and we're gon na put it on the edge of our lace to kind of make it blend. In a little bit, more y'all and y'all see how it's going from that white. Looking color to a more blended, it's looking more blended. Now you see hey guys, so i do apologize y'all, the camera did cut off, but um i'm back and i did detangle the hair. That'S why it's looking so big and voluminous at this point and i actually kind of like this y'all like i actually like this look, it's giving me diana ross vibes and i am loving it. I would definitely wear it like this so yeah when i'm not doing the divine the defined curl. Look, i'm definitely going to rock this at least once or twice. I can't even lie to you but yeah y'all, so um we're going to go ahead and just define these curls, so we're going to concentrate on this side. First, like i said, i've already, detangled it and everything so first things. First, i'm going to take my water and i'm going to spray the hair first with water, so we're gon na drench it okay, because we wanted these curls to be super defined. All right make sure we get the back real good. Okay, as you can see, it's kind of toned down a little bit. It'S really wet too so we're going to take our denman brush. It does wonders it helps. You know, define the curls really really good, so invest in a demon brush. You guys so we're going to just comb it, and this is just me using um water like just nothing but water like i'm, not using nothing else for water. So this is just what it's looking like with just water and it's looking really really good. I'M gon na add a little bit more water. Okay. Now i invested in some of this right here. I invested in some of this right here. It is called, got to be twisted and you could use this for your curls as you can see. So so i'm just going to use a little bit of it, not a lot. As you can see, it's just a little bit, i'm not going to use a lot because i don't really want a whole lot of products in my hair, so yeah we're just going to distribute that evenly throughout this side of the hair, and this is just to Keep the curls, you know a little defined and looking good, i'm gon na hit that water at the end of the hair make sure that's really make sure that's really defined and then we're going to just take our denman brush and just comb i mean brush through It like i love this demon brush because it does so much wonders and then, of course, i'm going to scrunch it up because that's just i don't know it's like a habit. It'S like a habit to just scrunch it up when you after your wedding, you know. So this is what i do all right. So this side is looking pretty good. We'Re going to take this down now, you guys see the difference. Okay, do you see the difference? Baby, i, like the puffy, look too y'all, like you know, the puffy look is definitely giving, but this the defined curl look is just it's a different kind of vibe. You know it's a whole another vibe and i don't know if you can see how long it is but yeah - and this is 24 inches y'all. So this is what it's giving it's definitely true to length. I love the curl pattern, it's so pretty so beautiful. So let's go ahead and get to this side because we need this side to look just as good as this side. So this is all of the hair pulled to the front, and it's looking really really cute. I love it. I love it yeah. So this is like with it being super wet. It'S not dry or anything like that so yeah, but, as you guys saw in the beginning of the video, that is what it looks like when you uh, when it's completely dry so yeah i mean it is definitely slaying, and this curl pattern is everything y'all like This curl pattern is everything like look at it.
