Hey guys, so this is futurecasey: hey um, quick, disclaimer um, the video that you guys are about to watch. I filmed months ago, like i filmed in like april, it is currently october um, i'm just now editing this video and uploading it. So the beginning portion of me talking you're going to be like okay. Why are we still talking about quarantine? But that is why it was because it was filmed in april of 2020 and it is currently october 2020, so stay tuned and keep watching bye, guys. Welcome back to my channel so today is day 572 being in quarantine and um. I'M bored! I just can't do this any longer and this sucks, so i figured i would do my hair today, because i've been looking like a bum, so i'm going to be installing stila okay, so so a quick story time. So i got this wig because i was planning on wearing it for my birthday, which is past, my birthday was march 25th and um. Of course, we've been in quarantine, so i couldn't do anything for my birthday. Therefore, i didn't feel like putting the wig on so um yeah, so i got a wig from honey haircut which y'all probably know about by now. If you guys watch my videos um, but it is the, let me go to it. This is what it looks like when it comes out of the bag. I'M going blonde and let me take it out of the netting, so you guys can get a closer look okay. So this is a 12 inch, um lace, front wig. I believe the lace is 13 by 4. Probably that's like usually standard. I don't think it's a 13x6 for parting space, but yes, so this is the hair. I'M running my fingers through it there's nothing for my fingers through it. Nothing. So in case, you guys don't know like uh trying to find a good quality. 613 hair is very difficult because, obviously it's not virgin. It'S been processed, it's been from it started at a 1b color, maybe and which is a natural black natural brown like what our neck most people's natural hair color is, and then it has been bleached processed all the way up to 613 color, which is white blonde. So you know it's very hard difficult to find companies that sell good quality, 613 hair um without it being brittle shedding now you're going to probably expect some shedding. I mean come on now: it's if you dyed your real hair. This color you're going to have some shading. It'S just. This is what's gon na happen because it's been processed but um. This so far looks good um. Let me get closer. I'Ve had 613 here before i've ordered 613 here from them before there was the the bundles out of the bundles and a front tool. I might insert a picture if i can of what i did with that hair, but it was a couple years ago. I was still in college, where i could do fun looks because i was real skeptical about getting blonde hair because i work in corporate america and i just feel like i don't want these people looking at me, foolish i'm a young african-american woman in corporate america with All these other folks, i don't want to look any crazy, but yeah in college. I would do a whole bunch of colors, so i think i'm gon na insert a picture of me wearing their blonde hair extensions uh previously, and i did like the six nine colors in the front, so it was like colorful. It was like it was blonde in the back, but the front had green purple, pink uh orange blue yeah, okay, y'all, have to just see i'm gon na have to insert fish so yeah but anyway. So i got this in a 12 inch and i don't know what i got it because i wanted. I got it in a 12 inch because i wanted to cut it into about a blank about, but now i don't know like if i want to do like the half up, half down style first and then put it into a bob cut into a bob. I'M not sure, but i'm pretty sure you guys will see in a minute what the heck i decided to do. Okay, so this hair does it's not like barb, like the color barbie hair. I wish one second, okay, i'm back sorry. I had to get my lighting um, but yeah. So if you guys can see, the hair is not like some some 613 hair combs and looks like barbie hair. So, like the real yellowish blonde, this one is almost good enough to where i wouldn't need to tone it, but i think i'm still going to tone it just a little bit, because there is some areas that have a little yellow tint to it. You guys probably can't see it in the camera, but i can't so i'm just going to do a quick little rinse with the shimmer lights. Uh shampoo and it's the purple shampoo that people who have either a gray hair or be blonde hair used to get brassiness and things out of their hair. So just say: someone watch me get the brassiness of the hair, okay, okay! So what i'm going to do is okay, wait. This is the shimmer lights shampoo that i was referring to and if you put one thing i do know about this shampoo. If you do put this shampoo directly onto the hair um, you will impossible. You will possibly get splotches of purple on your blonde, so what i've come up with? Is you run water? Fill your water up in the sink and um? Then you put the shampoo in the the water, it should be warm water and then you should mix it up and then you're going to like dip the hair. It'S like dip, you know, like you've, seen the watercolor method. It'S like that, like dip dye, okay, so so so my okay. So this is what it's looking like, i'm going to get my coconut co-wash. By as i am because it is um blonde hair. We do want to still keep in some type of moisture, so i'm gon na go ahead and co-wash it really quickly and detangle it, and by this is the uh product that i'm using, and i use this on my natural hair. Okay. So once you get done washing the unit, i did put some me some mousse on the hair. It was a nairobi foam and then i combed it back so that the hair would be not on the front of the lace. So i have this hotter and hotter hair dryer and i'm going to set it to the high temperature which it is already currently on and then i'm going to probably have it drying for 60 minutes. And then i'm gon na come back and see if it's dry. So yeah the disclaimer again um future me hop back in. I did not leave that week under the dryer for 60 minutes. I don't even know why i even said that or why i even tried it because i definitely tried it. I'M awesome dang on 60 minutes. I left the wig under the dryer for probably 10 to 15 minutes. It probably was more on the 10 minute side, because, honestly, it does not take that long for wigs or i don't know for a weave to dry when it's under the dryer, so yeah disregard what i just said all right. Okay. So this is what the wig looked like once i took it out of the dryer. The hairline is pushed all back, hopefully i'll pass it to the oats okay. This for me i told you this before yeah. I said i showed you this before. Didn'T i uh! Well, go ahead. Give me your best impersonation hold on not done okay, y'all. So enough of that um. As you can see, i braided my hair down and you can braid down. However, you like i like to braid my hair straight to the back and then i'm putting on my stocking cap and right now, i'm just cutting out my ears, so that it'll be easier for me to um. Like lay the ear tab like if you put on wigs, you know that when you're trying to do the ball cap method, it's very hard to get the area, that's right there by your ears to lay down and be stuck to your head. So this just creates a flatter surface for it to start working like for the spray to work, so i am going to take my got to be free spray, as i am right now and spray it across my hairline, and this is just going to help activate The cap to lay down and stick to my hair, which will then create the bar cap method, so just make sure you spray it liberally and spray it literally wherever your hair is your hairline is because that's what you want, you want your hairline to be protected By this cap, so that when we put on the glue to um install the actual wig, we are not getting glue on our actual hairline because baby girl, when the way it comes off, we would like to still have edges. You know so yeah so just keep watching so now i'm just checking to make sure the product is everywhere and then i'm just going to blow dry it until it's dry. Now, i'm literally just cutting um up the middle to cut off the excess cap that i did not um hair spray down, but i'm going to run into a problem which sometimes happens if you don't blow dry it completely dry when you're trying to brush things um. I, like it'll, start to roll up or there'll be pieces that you still want like to lay down just a little bit more. So i'm just spraying the cap once again and um blow drying it fully dry and then i'm going to start the process back of a cutting the excess cap on the other side, okay, y'all! So once you look ball, do you feel better you're? Not my friend, of course, i am young man. No, you did okay. Well, then, now that you look like a young man, you don't grab yellow your color foundation powder foundation. I use the makeup forever. Pro finish in the color color is this saffron natural? I wouldn't recommend using a liquid foundation just because it'll seep through so you're going to take your wig once it's fully dry, you guys saw me put it under the dryer and then you'll flip it inside out and then we're just gon na tap tap the powder Foundation and put it on so all right, so guys it's time to plug this is the portion that everybody seems to miss out on and then their wakes look hella bulky we just i'm just spraying the hairline with water and then coming back with a. I can't do this out of order because i forgot i had to plug, but it's okay, it's all good! Let me get my tweezers. Let me get my tweezer man tweezers. You want to make sure you got a really good, tweezers. Okay, i got the tweezers tweezerman over here and we're coming back. Let me zoom in, hopefully you guys can see better. All right come back, come back so you're gon na park the front. Well, you put on a big, beat girl thing. Okay, so you guys can either like do this on a mannequin head or you could like, if you have on like shorts or something put the wig on your like knee area, so that you can see your skin through it. And you can be sure that you're not plucking too much, so you don't have balls so we're just going to click and we're blind. You don't have to plug as much as you do with like regular 1b hair or natural black. So you just want to plug. Just a tad bit comb it out. You can also put a new cap under on top of your wig cap. I mean we can and then plug too. So it's up to you - and i don't want to put too much on the front, because i kind of think that i don't want to do baby hairs with this wig, so yeah you're just gon na. Do this all the way around and then i'll come back when i'm done all right so now that you look like ronnie from the place club, so you're just going to look into the lace like and if you see like your cap, you're just gon na lift It up and cut it off. It'S like my best cap work done um. You guys can see in another video how i really do it. I may not even show y'all okay, so i'm not going to use glue today, i'm just going to use. You got to be, and i know a lot of people say that they can never get the guy to be to work for them. So i'm going to show you how i do it so that it does work for you. I'M sorry. If i keep looking up because i'll be looking at the screen, so you see it's down, i'm gon na spray, i'm gon na press this in okay. So basically what i just did was line the wigs hairline up with my natural hairline. I sprayed it with the got to be um free spray, combed it back and now i'm blow drying it on cool. You have to blow dry it on cool for it to dry, properly press back in there with that comb it. My friend is stuck so i'm gon na hit the sidebar area one more time, because that's the area that needs to be um. It always has trouble sticking down. So you wan na do that one more time. Okay, i'm gon na make sure sorry guys. I don't know what happened to the clip of me: actually cutting the lace off, but once you finish, spraying the entire hairline um and drying it completely you're just going to take either a razor or scissors, and i i'm pretty sure i used a razor but um. If you use the razor you're, just going to literally cut off the excess lace that isn't glued down - and you want to do it section by section like the areas that you cut and same thing with the scissors, if you're cutting them with cutting it with scissors. Just make sure you're cutting it jagged and not straight across because nobody's hairline is a straight line. So yeah just do that. Okay, so this is how your principles should look. Well, i got a product, but this is how your frontal should look once you put it down now. I have just put the lester's ring nutrients lipstick on it, i'm about to press it, so it could be flat. So i have just let me now. My part need to be straightened a little bit, but this is how your frontal should look once you have um what i just do, pressed it. So i'm just making my part straighter. So i'm just gon na go back in with my slick. Stick to lay that part down all right, so it is flat. My part looks straight now, it's time to flat iron, i'm not going to record that because y'all know how to flat iron. So once i flatter on my hair, i'm going to come back, so i can show y'all how i cut it so yeah, okay, so we are now um. I'Ve straightened it, and now i am about to cut it into a bulb and we're gon na get it. Try to get it as straight as we can to take it. Okay, so you see in the front the front is always going to be shorter, we're going to start cutting right once it like not gets like. Okay, you see it's thin right here, so we don't want thin pieces. So i want to start it right here right there and we want it shorter. Then we'll come back so make sure you're doing this with sheer like hair shears and not like art and craft scissors, i mean i'm pretty sure they'll work but it'll just be harder. So do so all right, so this side's pretty much complete those you know, do the whole little number y'all. This is so bad when you cut hair okay, so this is always one side. It'S going to be easier than the other. This is my better side um. So now i'm just going to have to try to um sorry yeah try to match this side up at this side. So, let's come back through it make sure we got all the hairs because you know you'll be fine in long pieces of hair days after you did the style and you'd be looking like what the heck. I actually think it looks really good so i'll see when i'm editing this video, though how good it was all right. I'M gon na go back in with my wire clean up, put some makeup on and then i'm gon na show y'all my um final results. So yeah i'm going to get into this lace real quick! I think it looks really good, so yeah, i'm just going to flat iron it. Indeed, i'm gon na come back and show y'all when you freaking, like oh yeah, okay guys.
