Cheap Wig Fix Tutorial

Styling and fixing up cheap Halloween wigs is simple and quick! The only materials necessary are a wig, scissors, and items you can find around your house. Enjoy!
Hi guys so today, I'm going to do tutorial just kind of a quick one to show you how to take a cheap wig and make it look a little bit more realistic and a little bit nicer. So this is a weight that I just picked up at a spirit, Halloween store. It was like fifteen dollars and it's okay. Obviously, it's not going to look very real because it's blue hair and on really heads blue hair, it's almost like diet but um and there's some things that are decent about it like. I could wear it right now and it would look okay, but I'm just going to fix it up a little bit. So it looks even better and it's if you can see it's very shiny which look a lot of wigs when you first get them. They'Re really shiny, so I'm going to try and desaturate it a little bit. So it looks more realistic and I also don't like how it kind of curls under it looks okay, but it curls out. Don'T you can see that like doesn't do the same thing in the back and I don't really like the bangs, so I'm going to try and make it look like a more realistic tone. You know kind of take away some of the shine and we're going to cut it and style it as well. So that's all I'm going to be doing I'll. Show you guys my process and yeah thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy all right k. So here's the end result - and all that I didn't show on camera, was that I um. I screamed, like this part a little bit um and when we use heat on synthetic wigs, you want to make sure that you use the lowest setting because they burn really easily and I kind of burnt this part a little bit. But it still looks okay and definitely using a flat iron over all of this helped a lot. The texture looks a lot better. It'S a lot smoother and um yeah. I think it turned out pretty well. HayanTokki: if you can't change temp settings on your straightener, you can use microfiber cloth to lean the temp off a bit. the cloth will burn so rotate to a new section of cloth each passing.
ofplainreason: i usually wash my cheap wigs in warm water. after about 3 washes they are no longer shinny.

ashera katze: Can u fix a wig that has constant fallout? Like the hair strands are always falling out bc it's so cheap. Will soaking it in fabric softener help or something else? When I search online nothing comes up that's actually relevant.
