Lace Frontal Wig Install Over Loc'S

Hey y'all, so welcome back to my channel just peachy creations. It'S girl, can you pj. This is um a highly requested video. I'M going to show you guys how i installed this wig over my dreads um because believe it or not. There are a lot of people. Um out here that believe that, since they have dreads or thick natural hair, they can't tame that and put it under wig like it's possible, anything's possible, beautiful orange wig, and i did purchase this off of amazon. So um. I will put a description um below. If you guys are interested in this wig, this is not a promotion or anything it's just. I like the damn wig disclaimer, whatever you want to call it um. Yes, i went to cosmetology school. No, i am not licensed, but i've been doing my hair for since i was younger, you know, since i was little so you know, i'm just used to doing my hair and the tutorial i'm going to give you guys today is what i do is what works For me and my hair, so you know if it doesn't work for you hey, i can try to find different methods to work for you. Maybe or you know what i'm saying. Maybe you can use my method and tweak it to to figure to fit you to fit what you wan na. You know what i'm saying: how what works for you, so i'm just gon na show you guys what works for me when um putting you know locks over, i mean the wig over um, the locks or whatever, because they're thick like. I have thick locks me and my baby uh we're going on three years, um with our locks and we love them, but i also like wings. I also like changing up my look, my style. I love wearing different colors um, so you know i'm a person like me. I'M gon na find a way. I'M gon na make a way okay, so i just wan na show you guys how i got this. How i achieved this and, as you can see, it is not lumpy, because that's one thing that kills so i'm going to show you guys how i do it to um to achieve like the the smooth. You know what i'm saying like you got or whatever you know what i'm saying trying to rub on your head and they feel them loose like that that ain't sexy okay, that ain't cute. So, let's jump into this video and before we do please please please, please subscribe to my channel hit that bell. So, let's jump into this video, so y'all can see and y'all can do it soon and i hope you enjoy let's get started. Um here is my beautiful locks and um. It tends to work better for me when i have new growth, so i'm just going to go in with my water bottle just to dampen that, so it will help it better to um press down, i'm also using um some oil, so my scalp won't be dry Under the wig and flake up and all that nasty stuff um, so i'm just gon na pull my hair back my hair! Isn'T that long um! So i'm able to do that and i'm going to put my first cap on and just push all that hair um in the second trick is to add another cap. That'S going to help it press down and be smooth so you're going to take your got to be gel and go on along your edges and just brush those back before you put your cap back on. That'S going to help it so your you know your baby hairs or your hair. Isn'T you know out and it's not showing through the wigs. I have a colored wig, so i can't have my dark roots showing okay. So now that we have that all down, we are going to take a um scarf and wrap that around make sure you pull it very tight. So it can. You know, press down to your head. Whatever um, i usually i'll go to sleep like this um, especially i don't have anything to do. I just go to sleep like this and let it press down or whatever um and they'll, usually do the trick you don't have to, but i usually just kind of wait or i'll. Just you know: do this and then kind of wait a while for it to kind of press down, that's how you're going to get the smooth effect. So now that we've waited, and that is all pressed down, we're just going to take our um the wrap off. You see that is, you know, pressed down and we're going to do the bobcat method um, which involves me taking the got to be spray and i'm going to um, go along the hairline. Make sure that the cap is over your ear, because you are going to cut that with the scissors right here and after you spray a little bit you're going to take and cut a little hole for the ear and, and that will help the cap lay down A little bit better when you're spraying it you're going to take your blow dryer and run it over with cool air. Only you don't have to do that. You can always let it air dry but make sure you use cool air. So after that has dry you're going to go ahead and take your scissors and cut across the hairline and cut that excess cap off now after you've cut that off, you will have some um excess cap that you'll have to kind of peel up to cut off. Um and it's you know it's pretty simple, just peel it up and cut the excess and um, because you know when you lay the wig down the cap needs to be behind the wig. If that's me, if that makes sense, so after you've cut the excess you're going to go in with your got to be gel and just lay those little edges down, so it will just lay flat and be flawless. Now i'm taking my foundation and just blending that in you can either use powder or liquid, and here is the wig, the orange yes pt and you're going to do the same thing with your foundation or powder and just go in and um and put that on. The wig lace as well now we're going to flip this bad boy on and um place it around, and it helps me better to you know: comb the hair back before gluing, so the hair won't be on the way and glue won't get on hairs that don't Need to be so we're going to take our lotta body, wrap foam and we're just going to put that on the hair just so it can stay in place in the back to the back, we're taking our alcohol and we're going to well, you can take a Q-Tip, a cotton ball and we're going to go through and clean the hairline, where the glue will be so the glue will stick properly because, if not, then it won't. I use ghostbun glue or got to be, if um, if i don't really want a strong hold but go spawn, is what i normally use and i'm going to do three layers of this. I'M only showing one but do three layers of this um, so you're gon na go down. You don't have to put too much just enough and you're gon na take um your rat tail comb or like a wooden um, stick and you're going to smooth that out. So you got to move kind of fast because it does kind of dry quickly. So when, as soon as you get that on there, you want to go ahead and start pressing that down um. I i find it easier to press down towards the forehead than moving up and um you're going to do three of these, but let it dry in between each layer. So it should dry clear. So when it's dried clear, you can go ahead and do your next layer and so on and so forth, as you can see, as i'm smoothing in it's already drying up so just know like i said it does start to dry quickly, so you do have to Kind of move fast um when you're smoothing it in, but when the entire thing is clear, transparent, then you can go in and do your seconds so now that we have done all three layers, you can see that the glue is transparent. There is no more white. We are going to take our lace and line it up and we are going to press that in. You can also use a rat tail comb to press that in also um, as well as a blow dryer with cool air only and that will help with drying drying the glue, and you know melting, that in together. It'S okay! If you have some lace that the glue didn't hit just um go through with your scissors and just cut that excess lace off, and it should look a flawless now after that's done, i will take some got to be spray and put it on the um. The end of my rat tail comb and go through and press down just to get some extra security. Then we're going to take our wrap and wrap that around to soak up that moisture and help press that thing down. So now that that's dry we're going to go ahead and cut that thing off and we are going to get ready to do them baby hairs. I part out my sections that i want to use for my baby hairs and i use a razor. I think that it just cuts better. It doesn't look so blunt um. So now i'm just going through and i do use got to be for my baby hairs um. Sometimes i will use foam. It just depends on what type of day i'm having who knows um, but i'm just going to take these and kind of put some little swirlies in there or whatever. I really don't like too too much dramatic baby hairs, but i do like them so now, i'm taking my got to be to secure its extra lead and i'm going to take another wrap and wrap that around so um again. It can soak with the moisture press that thing down and let it dry flawlessly at this point. While it's drying, you can take it down style, it do what you need to do i've, let it dry, so i'm cutting that the wrap off or whatever and i'm gon na go in with um my brush again and just tap that just to um. You know make sure it's blending like it's supposed to be, and yes, i didn't want to put no curls anything in in it. I just wanted to wear it straight, so i hope you guys really um liked this video. My locks were thick as hell, but, as you can see you don't even know i got lots, i can do it. You can do it, we can do it. Okay, it's giving me what what what does it mean? No but love you guys, um.
