Wig Talk Wednesday Taking An Estetica Emma Synthetic Wig From Classic Bob To A Cool Asymmetric Styl

We decided to start a new "series" where we take classic styles and give them an updated new twist. Our personal takes on "CLASSIC TO COOL". Of course, just like we mention in the videos sometimes it is entirely possible to restyle a wig by cutting and/or steaming, but sometimes it is not. If we feel we are compromising the integrity of the wig we won't do it. On that same note if we decide to push the envelope and it doesn't work then we have learned a valuable lesson about that particular style of wig.

It is important to note that synthetic wigs are made and styled to be what they are, which is the reason they make and are constantly coming up with new styles. If you are looking for styling options on a frequent basis you may want to consider human hair.

Hi guys it's miss Deane Kimber Mimi's, with boutique in Dallas Texas. We want to show you what we've done with the Emma wig from Aesthetica. We decided to take a classic style and Missy has so anyway. Yeah we thought we'd. Do this whole series? I don't know we may do one a month who knows whenever it comes up from classic to cool, so classic is good, but cool is good too. So we want to show you a couple different ways to the same wig and just a side note if you follow us week on Wednesday, for we talk Wednesday, we did this online live, but we had some technical issues so how to take it down. So if you watched it here is what we did: here's the clear version, because you couldn't see clearly the it wasn't pixelating popplers properly. So we're sorry about that. So, first of all, I've got Cameron by John Renault and in 12 FS 8 on. It is 1/2 that fully hand tied, and I love it and if you watch our videos regularly, you'll know that misty gave me some face framing a little bit of a side-swept bang yeah. I would do that a couple weeks ago and I have on my favorite wig of all time, snow Rico's Rees in Chestnut. So that's we always want to mention that, because people always ask, but that's what we got on top and yeah, what we're gon na do is we're gon na show you the same wig done in the same wig straight from the box, so this is like Kim Was saying we're a new doll and Kim? This is aesthetic as Emma, which is just a classic Bob. It has a little bit of a swing here and it's not real dramatic, like some of them are, but it does have a little bang and a nice round. Look here so it from the front is a classic Bob and this color I what color is it? It'S a long number, it's an F J, its j-20 I'll put it in the description. It'S a lot of numbers. 27. 30. 12 smoke that but - and so this is it straight from the box - we have not done a thing to it. Kim is a Tucker like we always have a side tuck. So this is what it looks like classic. We'Re gon na give you a side view. So, like I said, you can see, has a little bit of a little bit of a swing where it's a little bit higher here and angled down. Here is the back not a whole lot of layering a little bit and then the other side. So straight from the box, nice classic style now and like I said we did this on the air live, but obviously you can't do it again, so I'm gon na show you what I did so just to explain a little bit. What we did is I cut a little bit of face framing in this side. We didn't do a whole lot. I straightened this band out, maybe a little bit straighter. This side got the most change. I shortened it and kind of evened it up with the back. So brought this up here, maybe about an inch and a half and added some layering to kind of flatten it out where it didn't have that classic Bob shape anymore. So it's a little closer to the head. Then I moved apart a little bit and all that kinds of you'll see it, but that way you'll know so we're gon na go classic cool all right and you put that can right, dry, texture spray in there. It smells so good. I did some dry texture spray, like she said from kenra their platinum line. It'S excellent, but you can see this. I got the most change, so this was the link, and this is how I cut it. I did straighten this side out a little bit add a little bit of face framing where it you kind of broke up the Bob and didn't do anything bang I mean just kind of swept it to the side a little bit, but it's still there. I didn't cut any of that. I move the part a little bit more over to line up with the arch of her brow, which is always a good spot to go if you can, but it just made it a little bit more modern and I'll show you the 360 view. So again, even the left side up with the back, so it took that thing. Then it starts down in a little sweeping motion here, kind of angling down here and straightening that out to give it a little bit more of a modern cut. I just think it's cute. I would definitely wear this. It'S kind of reminiscent of a trains makes a style called faith and it's a long asymmetric bob. Only this has a bang. So if someone wants a bang, this is a good option. I mean it's not something. I would say: let's do it every time we sell an Emma right, but it turned out here yeah. So this is a good way if you've got a classic style that you want to do something to, and you think gee I want to change it up. I mean there's options for either since you can do there. It is and like I said, if we did this live and we were really not wondering or not wondering, we were really wondering if it was going to work, because sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't, and this time it worked out great. So, who knows what the next one being we may get flop doing, but that's the fun of it so anyway, again sorry, if we lost you live earlier, but this is what we did to aesthetic is Emma, let's put the classic back on one more time. Okay, would you line that up? You know what I noticed is it's a lot heavier in the face right now, even though well for one thing by lifting that up here moving the part, it lightened everything up, yeah so anyway, this is classic it's good classic, but I think I, like it cool Yeah, I do too alright stay tuned if you don't already have a subscription to our YouTube channel, just make sure you like and subscribe to our videos and on Facebook. Yes - and we love your comments, yes, I think we'll, hopefully see you back next Wednesday live at new. You know worked out alright, thank you for watching you
