How To Create *Non-Dramatic* Baby Hair | Gorgeous Curly Bob Lace Wig

Hi guys welcome back so today's video i'm going to show you how to create very wispy baby hairs on your curly units. Let'S jump right into it. This wig in today's video is the wig you all seen in my video earlier this week. So i asked everyone here and i asked everyone on instagram which wig they preferred the most and which one they wanted to see this week and you all voted this wig number one style to come back with this is from af sister wig. I will be sure to put it below. I have washed and conditioner washed this wig, so this is the outcome. So, let's start off with the topic of this video and then we'll talk about the details and my thoughts on this wig later in the video. For me, i like to have some type of edges when it comes to my curly wavy wigs. Only because i do feel like it look more natural now. I know a lot of people. Don'T well not a lot of people. Some people don't like baby hairs. However, i feel like it just depends on the person, so i'm gon na show you today how i create wispy edges. I call them edges not more of baby hairs, so what i'm doing is taking some tweezers and i'm tweezing out an area when you are creating edges or soft baby hairs. You want to make sure you're not working with a lot of hair in the section. So i'm tweezing out enough so that it can be thin and it won't look too thick. This is very important and it's what's going to make or break your wig to look more natural or to look very wiggy. The next step is to cut them, and to do this, i am going to use a razor. This is the eyebrow razor i will put it below in the description box and i'm not using scissors, because scissors can cut too straight across and give a really harsh. Look to the baby hairs, so you want to use a razor. It'S going to be more tapered when it cut and it's just going to just soften everything up. Next, i'm using the boho lace, jelly and you can use this for edges and i'm also using the edge brush and i'm just testing this out for the first time with the edges. You guys see me use this a week ago to apply my wig so today this wig is not glued down on my head, i'm just using my edges to hold this wig down, and since this is like a wig gel um, it's going to give me some Hold now i still did not bleach the knots on this wig i chose not to when i did wash it. I got some shedding, so i don't really feel like with this style or the styles, because this wig comes in three different styles. If you watch my previous video, you can see all three styles this one wig come in, but i don't feel like this wig needs any type of bleach knots, because you can just do what i did in my first video and get a really natural look. So, of course, i'm going to do the same thing to the other side, and even if you did not want to use a gel, you can just cut the edges without using the gel and as long as you have something there, it's not going to look so Straight line-ish harsh, which i hate on wigs. I really like don't like that, look a lot, but this is why i create edges, but the great thing about my edges or baby hairs is: they are not extremely over the top. Now. The only thing with the jelly is that i did notice that that boho jelly dried too fast before i was done shaping out the baby hair. So i did go back with some hair mousse, which i prefer using hair moves. However, it just takes a bit longer to dry, i'm using a heavenly locks brand that one is more wet so, when you're shaping out the baby hairs, basically just kind of do sweeping motions with your brush and let them flow the way they want to more so Than trying to create them next, you want to tie it down and then take a dryer to it and let it dry completely before you remove your head scarf and the last step once it's dry to get rid of that harsh look. You want to break it up by taking a brush and going over and breaking that gel or that hard cast, and this is going to soften it up. I also like to take a little bit of foundation powder over top of it, and that also helps and because i did not bleach the knots, i'm going to go down that parting with some foundation powder. Also. So at this point i have not put any product on the hair i just washed and conditioned it. I absolutely love. Love! Love, love, love the curls on this. What i'm going to do? I don't need much on this hair, so i'm just going to take some of this. Not your mother's curl talk curl activating mousse and go down the hair at the top. This hair don't have a lot of frizz, which i really like. The curls are very tight on this wig. Then i'm going to take some of this coconut weightless oil spray it to lock in the moisture that is still on the hair, because the hair is like 95 percent dry all right. So a lot of you wanted to see style 3. I think this wig got the most votes out of all three of them. I'Ll come back with the next wig that got the most votes also, but this one you guys really was feeling i like this too, especially now that i've washed it the curls are popping again. This wig is from af sister wig. I will be sure to link it below in the description box, but yeah, i'm glad you all suggested this style, it's so nice now i could define that a bit more, but i didn't do anything besides wash and condition it and then add the hair moves. So if i had took some curl activator to it or something and just brushed through it, it would be just as defined, but i actually like the fact that they have a little bit of um. It has a little bit of layer right here in the front. So it's not just one length which is giving it that full cut, and this is a very, even cut make sure you go check out my previous video, where i share all three styles. That way you can see what this wig look like before. I add any baby hairs. Like i said in that video, i prefer my curly hair with a little bit of edges and i think i did a good job.
