Luna Wigs lied saying this is a lace front wig and false advertising using that young lady's image and video.
I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE THAT GOT RIPPED OFF.
Hi, this is urban sweetheart Teresa, I'm coming to you with a review, but we got bought over the holiday season, I'm just getting around to opening it, and I was gon na. Do a look of course, because I'm going out today, so I got this from Munoz. Wigs, I know everybody probably seen a video during the holidays of a young lady, doing a bob which she knocked it out of the box. I'M gon na try to insert a picture of the bob that she had so Luna wig was advertising that as the Bob they were selling it. I think it was $ 24.99 and they was using her picture on her on their YouTube page. It has a link to the girls video about supposedly this wig. Now, when I first ordered this, I just saw the picture of the girl and I went to the website and I ordered it. I didn't watch the video and to afterwards - and I believe she said something about she made the wig she made it. So how are you using that picture of her in that video to sell this unit, and the girl made the wig with a lace frontal? Was that being said, you know I'm disappointed, so this is the packaging it came in. This is the week over little tissue paper. Okay, now this is where it gets funny. This is not a lace part. This is not monofilament type partings, skin partings or something it has 0 lace. I don't know what this is. I guess that's where the skin parting thingy is no lace around the edges, those tracks it has no combs in the front, no comes in the back and it has adjustable. Straps know bendable ear tabs and has this little bumpy part right where the the lace pardon ends it has this like attract a guest sewed at the front, so you know you won't have a hard time blending neck. I don't know if you can pluck it or what, but it's never gon na, be smooth like really. How do you have, after the pardon you have all of this hair, it's hard to see it. You have all this hair. Okay, there you go all of his hair in the front, but the Parden stops here, but you got all of this hair coming after it all right. So let's fix these straps and I'm gon na try it on awesome either. So some comes in there, which I thought I will do or make you elastic band now this is the first I was trying it. I was gon na try to do the melting, the lace type thing with this. You know guys to beat glue and cut a stocking cap around, so I had just started playing with it and I took the wig out because I wanted to be sure what I was gon na um. I stopped this at so I could lay you know how I wanted it on my hairline, and this is where I was like. Ah so I said, let me go ahead and make this video it's big hat friendly. I will give it that it's stretchy and roomy. Okay, now some people like this, alright, so nice Bob it's a nice Bob, okay, so nice, like I said it was supposed to be like the girl had which it was a lace-front, that's how she had all them. Pretty little baby hairs laid down you're, not gon. Na marry late, no pretty little lace, Oh baby hairs with this big old bulky, these tracks, you're not gon na, be yeah. You know how that girl had done baby hair, swooping you're, not gon na. Be able to do this with that now it's a simple plane. Bob i'ma try to curl it for y'all i'ma, try to curl it. I ain't put on my makeup a nothing yet so it's not how you know I would get ready, but I'm like I'm lying feeling this. This is like ridiculous right here. This is ridiculous. How are you gon na make this look natural? That was the only reason I got that because she had the front blade. It was laid. It was laid, I'm really disappointed. I even went out and bought a new flat iron because I didn't have a flat iron anymore, went out and bought a new flat awesome. I'M late this week you wan na see I'll make it look like hers. I'M gon na have all the layers and stuff and it's gon na look. Flowy yeah stop it. This is a joke. This is a joke. This is the price I pay, which was just $ 24.99. I believe with shipping I think shipping was. I could have just got me: a body boss, Linna Lina, whatever you call it or Tessa, which I did get the Tessa, and I will be reviewing that. I got it in two colors, but I could have just bought that type of Bob and been finished with it. This some people I work with this, but this is not what I purchased like. I said I'm trying to have a picture of the girls on like take a face a little bit out ago. I won't get in trouble having nobody picture up, but that's what they were advertisement. It was the same thing like what she was wearing. She has so much movement in hers all right, so I'm gon na plug to something let it heat up and I'll be right. Ok, I'm back yeah and I just went got my phone and I want to look show yeah all right. Oh all, right! So anyway, I type Luna, wigs, Bob and Oona wigs. This is the picture like I said, I'm gon na have to put a picture inserted, but oh okay, here we go loner wigs. That'S the website. Look at that hairline without even me saying anything else. Look at the hair line and that part come on girl come through come through come through. This is not the same thing. You'Re advertising that she did. She made her own wig lace, frontal. I assume that's what that is. Look at that hairline! That'S a lace frontal! At least at least um hey, you know in the front hairline look at that. Look at that. Look how that baby here and stuff she got it laid it's like swooped, swimsuit, all right, my phone cut off on me. How can you do that with this? You can't so don't waste your money, you can't you cannot because that's a lace frontal. This is some type of monofilament or skin parting lies lies, Luna, wigs, your ally, you're alive. You should not be using that young young lady's photo claiming that this is the same thing as what she did. That was not even gon na curl. This thing all the way to the high setting put it all the way to the highest setting cuz. I had it down low. I didn't want to burn this little cheap wig. Yes, I said it little cheap, wig fiber is probably gon na burn up and melt as soon as I put some heat to it. Cuz it's not. The same thing is what the young lady was modeling. It'S not the same thing that picture does every time I look at it. I'M disgusted I wasted my money and I want to spare anybody else from doing the same. That'S probably like no damn reviews and stuff on this week on YouTube and stuff, because it's a joke, I feel like Bobo the fool for purchase purchasing it. Alright, let's try again it's already bone straight, so I'm not even really kinda um straighten it. I'M just trying to put a little bump in it. Alright, a little something hope he's not melting it. I smell burning like baby hair like doll baby hair. I smell something. Burning everybody price, a stop there, so I'm trying to curl the fool you can wear it as a long straight bump. No, I don't want to wear. I bought this wig yeah. It'S I can smell. It'S like it's burning, plastic, hair! That'S what I smell! It'S! Never! This is never gon na lay like she had. I know it's not because not the same here it smell like burnt plastic. So imagine you go out somewhere. I did the front that didn't even take. I'M try it with my time. I can feel it's getting textured. It'S not silky straight anymore. To her thing, I believe she put some type of mousse or something I'll spray. Try to hold the pearls in, like I said, I'm disappointed in the hairline. It'S not the same. Wig, there's no lace in the front at all. This is not a lace parting, this is a joke. This is a joke. You should have specified that it wasn't the same wig that she's wearing, but why, then, would you have a picture up feels like I'm? It'S like trying to get stuck you're, never gon na get the same. Look she had you never gon na get it. This is it's getting course. It was like when it's live every bone straight decided feels course now because the plastic it's burning and melting all right. So I'm gon na stop now before I anger myself beyond belief, like I said, if you want it and you wan na yeah, I was like getting crunchy to go through it now we're bone straight got ta! Do something with this. This I mean yes, I am upset. You got to do something with this crap right here. I guess you could pluck all of that out and then try to it's very thick right here too, and then try to lay that down. So it could actually be a believable part yeah. It could be a basic little wig, which you have so many options. Other options. They actually use a lace parting that it look would look more natural. This I'm telling you bulky it's bulky. It'S not ever gon na lay flat to your head um. This is my little I'm stocking caps on. You think. That'S some lace. It'S just a wig! Yes, you could just lay it down if you want it to just the tracks and stuff. No, it's not gon na, be any not gon na be any type of lace. In this front it does go either ear to ear. Like I said his big head friendly, I'm gon na give that to him like, like, I told you before it's getting hard to go through it with this side. It'S like silk here this side and then got crunchy since I didn't try to curl it because the plastic is burning and we'll try it one more time to curl it. No as soon as I put it on her hair, I could feels like sticking. It doesn't even see wait. Oh wait. Alright, I'm gon na stop, please like comment and subscribe, and thank you for viewing this Luna wigs, I'm very disappointed. This is not what you advertise with the picture very disappointed and I will never purchase from you again.

We are now fearful of giving our business to new companies. I too was scammed in the past and my parting space looked just like the one in this video. I immediately walked over to the trash and disposed of it. I was angry with myself because I ignored the voice in my head that kept saying "don't do it because it is too good to be true"

Anyone who's been buying wigs as long as I have felt in our bones that there is no way you can get a wig that looks as good as Luna Wigs portrays and advertises theirs to appear for under $50!!! Even synthetic! You're better off going to Friday night hair. At least you're gonna get what you see in the pic 9 out of 10 times. I am angry that they are scamming people and especially those new to the wig game. They don't know that wigs of the caliber that you see in their videos are apparently NOT the same wigs you'd be getting in the mail. So stay away from Luna Wigs. If you're going to buy a wig like that online, might as well buy it from Wish or Dress Lilly. Those of us in the know understand exactly what shade I'm throwing. So it sucks but do your due diligence and vet these wig sites out before buying. Many of these YouTube tutorial makers are being given wigs for free. Which colors their opinion making process wouldn't you think? That is not fair to us consumers. All I'm saying is buyer beware. Peace people.

Stylz NU: I am sorry you went through the same thing I did, but it was with Rose Gal using celebrities pictures to promote their poorly made wigs. I purchased two wigs from them, and when the arrived I was so disappointed. One of them, I was able to salvage and make something nice out of it. The other one was so old and matted I told them I wanted my money back. They had me send them pictures of the packaging and the wig. I did that and they tried to give me the run around. I told them If the did not give me my money back that I was going to blast them on social media. They gave me my money back and told me to keep the wig.You know where I put it (in the trash) Period!! I then can across the same YouTube commercial as you, but his time I did some research and found out that they had the same pictures on their website with the same celebrities. i tried to chat live with them to ask if the were affiliated with Rose Gal, they immediately stop the chat and would not respond back to me. If I were you I would demand my money back, I feel that they are Rose Gal using another name. Best wishes!

Wrote the company and all of my emails bounced back as undeliverable, after I had been back and forth with them inquiring about why I had not received my order.

I knew however that there was a problem when one style they advertised, the model had an UNDERCUT and I asked myself then HOW IN THE WORLD are you gonna sell an undercut wig? And WHAT would that look like? ALL OF the short styles shown on the models were their OWN NATURAL hair. Yeah, I thought something was up. Thanks again for your video and I'm sorry you got bamboozled. Diane Bush: I ordered a lace front from Trendy Hair and got something much worse than what you are showing in this video. I purchased two because they advertised buy one get one half price. What I received was like the wigs you see for sale on clearance in beauty supply stores either in the front or back that no one ever buys. They were not human hair as stated in the video and were cheaply made. I contacted the company and they offered me a 10% refund. I just want the public to know i think even though these companies claim to be different entities i believe it is just one company changing their name when someone catches on to their schemes. Buyer Beware.

I've been wearing lace myself suffering from alopecia since 2007 and the reviews I see on here from various and especially PAID reviewers is insanely deceptive. I really don't know how they do this with a clean conscious. But I guess money will enable you to do anything. Again, thanks for your honesty. Luna Wigs probably has various aliases..it's just a shame that we can't stamp them out.

I didn't pay much for the wig so I'll just put my touch on it, but will definitely not order again. I realized the wig came from China after I ordered it, they don't care if they scam people or not.

Unless you see pictures of the hair in its raw state, showing the alleged lace and parting, we can't assume the product will match the description.

Their business practices are questionable. I purchased the wigs about five days ago and the first red flag is: I have not yet received a confirmation email, 2nd red flag: I emailed them asking about this and there has been no response. Madam Vonkook: The price point should ring alarm bells while there are amazing units out there with unbelievably low prices ...the unit the young lady used in the video was much higher quality.F or the most part, 45 dollars is the lowest price you would expect to spend for a synthetic or mixed front lace wig unless it is a sale or clearance item. That is terrible you got scammed ...next time open the package as soon as you receive it ...if you use PayPal you can dispute the payment and get a refund if the company does not respond .. I always use PayPal it is worth the extra dollar or two for the insurance that the seller sends the product as advertised in the size or color you requested
Edith Fisher: Looks like one I got. I was very disappointed. Tried to fix mine but still looked wiggish. So..I tossed mine in the garbage. Poorly made period. Ladies...please be careful where you buy your wig. A lot of these companies have models wearing these gorgeous wigs and when you get it it usually comes in a white paper container with the net covered wig and boom you soon discover it's nothing like the one you saw model wearing. Check out the companies. Go on website...find out about them. I hope this doesn't happen to you.

However, I just recently tried to order another wig from Luna wigs. I got a tracking notification that my wig was on the way on Jan. 20th. It is Feb. 6th and I still have not received my wig. Not only that... I learned it was coming from China!! I will never order from them again and if I don't get it soon, I'm going to recall the payment!!!

angelicMisha: I'm sorry you got scammed but thank you so much for making this video. I got an advert from Luna Beauty on a YouTube video that was showing the video of the girl in question. I went to their link and glee suspicious cos there was no other photos of the wig itself. I did a reverse Google Image search of the photo and it led me to your video as one of the top links. Disappointing that they not only stole the girl's image and clips from her video, but also take in unsuspecting consumers with their crappy knockoffs.

now22207: The same thing happened to me. I bought a medium length curly wig. Wish I would have reviewed Luna wigs first. I didn't know they were not in the USA when I ordered it. I received a raggedy wig that looked washed and worn, no tags, or info, lots of shedding, threads hanging, and tracks falling out. It fit like it's on backwards and won't even reach the temple of my ears and I have a tiny head. I paid $19, which was $25 with S&H, but they only wanna send me $7.50 back and I can keep the wig; saying it will cost me over $15 to send it back to them. They also had the nerve to tell me in the email that they must have the wrong photo posted on their site and it will be corrected. It has not been corrected. Wow! God's gonna........................................................for that.

BERNADETTE PAULING: MAN! I wish that I’d seen this earlier! I’d ordered from this company because of a positive review from another YouTuber. This company is very sophisticated. I think that they bait and switched the reviewer with a wig from Viva Wigs. The wig is called Cookie. When I clicked the link, that wig is what was pictured. I ordered that and two other wigs and some other items. Days later, I checked on my order, and on the site there was a completely different wig pictured in my order and I couldn’t find any results for Cookie, and my order was listed as “unfulfilled”. Sent them an email. More days passed by, I check the site and now its fulfilled. I tried to find the original review, but I couldn’t find it. I hope that the reviewer was fooled. If they realized it, I wish that an update had been made. Still waiting for order. Heading to PayPal. Thanks for letting me vent.

Ms. Information: Girl, I wish I had gone to YT first! It took 2 months and they had the nerve to send me 2 wigs with NO TAGS, LITERALLY NO STRINGS ATTACHED in a (recycled) zip lock bag! Being a "wig sister" from way back, I know these wigs have been worn. At least you got a new wig. That's alright though cause I am calling my bank to report them and reporting them to any regulatory agency I can find. They messed with the wrong Black woman. They coming down

K-Anne Hayes: Smh they are such a scam. I bought a curly wig and had the same problem. I'm not sure it was Luna but there are a lot of scammers out there using the same video and stock photos. The best rule of thumb is never to buy from any site that doesn't use original pictures. Thanks for the video.

Carmelle's World: I just got the wig you received but I was ordering for a different style than she was ordering. I bought two different wigs and the styles were totally different from one another. One ordered for a layered cut and the wig I got had neck length in the back of it and a bang in the front. No layers! The other one was a straight bob and the part wasn't even where it was supposed to be! They totally scammed me!!!! I feel sooooo stupid! Just from the price I should of known better! I'm going to make a video exposing them too!!!

Aretha Robinson: Yes ma'am I got screwed as well with the same suppose to be unit. But it wasn't from Lunawigs. There are several advertisements with different companies going around Facebook. Every time time I see the advertisement I report it. I was soooo pissed..I am on a fixed income and was trying to prepare for my Uncle's funeral and that same unit that you have was sent to me. They also lied and said that they were going to send me another unit that was longer that I can style on my own and I never got it....
Monikblessed: The best way to buy a wig is to go to the beauty supply store and try it on. I think most of the online wig companies especially those overseas are a scam. They got me too. I paid 85.00 for a pixie cut wig, similar to the actress Haley Berry, and I received a George Washington wig in the mail. So sorry that happened to you.

When I go on the website, they don't show actual wigs, they show off other ppl wearing said wig name. That threw me off. A few days ago, it came to my mind that they might rip me off. Sheila D: Thank you for posting this video. The same thing happened for the Luna wig 028 (sleek low bun). It was not lace front and there was no parting in the wig at all. You see the entire track. It’s made of poor quality and construction. Luna Wigs is using video of wigs made by other companies which are of high quality claiming it is theirs. Their advertising is false. Please beware.

Adrianne Taylor: I am so glad I came across your video because I was definitely going to buy a wig from them. But when I saw how much the wig cost compared to the pictures, 2+2 was not equaling 4. I always say if it looks too good to be true then it most likely is. That's why I only use companies that other youtubers have reviewed or that I can easily search on YouTube and find at least 5 or 6 real YouTube reviews or else I'm not buying. So with luna I could find very little reviews on them and I am glad I found your video. I'm sorry you got scammed but I am glad you letting folks know.
