Lindsay Lohan Freaky Friday Wig Transformation! | 2000S Highlights

Hello, everybody today we're doing something freaky today, i'm going to making a wig that matches lindsay lohan's hair in the 2003 classic freaky friday. Now, if you were born before that came out, don't even tell me it makes me feel old. This is the wig i'm going to be working with today it is already red, so this wig is nearly perfect, but it's not it's just not. This is the game plan. First, we need to bleach the wig make a little lighter. Then we're going to be using the cruelty free brand kenra's color line in muted copper. This is a semi-permanent. I'Ve never used this brand before, but it sounds great. This is supposed to make it look. A very natural orange after i've lifted a little bit of the red out, so we'll see we'll see what we get. I hope it's great though, and then we will have to bleach again on the very top to give us the the highlight question mark: look that lindsay lohan rocks in this movie. I think it's iconic, but we'll see how well i did foreign alrighty. The bleach is all on there, so i'm just gon na put a bag over try to keep some heat in there and i'm gon na keep my eye on this, because i have to use volume 30. But this is just gon na sit for a little bit and then i'm gon na wash it out dry it and we'll put the copper on it. It has been two days and i have been increasingly getting more and more nervous about doing the highlights on this wig. So, with a lot of thought, i've decided that i'm just going to section out the wig, like i'm doing a usual partial, highlight so i'm just taking the very top hair around where the part is and that's what i'm going to be playing with today. We'Re going to be leaving the very front hair out because she does not have a money piece, which means that there is no lightning happening around the face which i didn't realize was more of a current trend today versus in the early 2000s. So this is staying. Dark, okay and we're just gon na i'm, just gon na go in rose and we're not going down to the root, i'm also using volume 30. Basically, because my patience is a little thin, so we're going to try to do this as fast as possible. I need to make sure that this is exactly where i want the highlights, and then we need to dye the rest of the wig, copper and, just like my teachers, say in school, we're going to twirl the hair like spaghetti turn on that spaghetti and get it On the foil, and so we do not have a line of demarcation, i'm just going to kind of brush and to keep the heat in we're going to cover that, and then you got ta do a little too close on in there and of course, one foil Done currently in school, i do have at least two that i know of regular clients that continue booking time with me as a stylist. One of my clients has beautiful gorgeous early 2000s highlights just like what i'm doing on this lindsay lohan wig today, and let me tell you it like, i think early 2000 highlights are some of my favorite um eye-catching pieces in hair. I'M not gon na lie. It'S just it's great, they do not look uniform. You know it's nothing like the highlights today. To me, just look like you went blonde highlights today. Are so full head coverage, a lot of the time that you do like three hours of highlighting but like for what? Basically, to just make someone look blonde, okay, which is great. There is an art to it. I just don't think it's that much fun unless you want to like throw color in there, so i do have a client that has highlights like this. However, i did not do her highlights she's gotten our highlights on before, and i just love them. So that's all i'm gon na say so for the sake of time, and because i forgot how long this wig is. When i picked up the dye, i will be dyeing the top of the wig first and working my way down just in case i run out of dye. I'D rather have the top be the right color than the bottom. So let's do it so well. The worst thing that could possibly happen has happened. The red just would not lift so i put more bleach in it and i left it for a little too long and it's giving ramen noodle energy. This is giving first day first day in cooking school and you forgot to set a timer. This is giving hannah circa 2017, so i have to still go through and blow dry this wig, but i'm gon na have to get creative and pull off a miracle. So i can make this wig exactly how i want it. Thank god. This is not a person i would have given up far earlier if this was a human being, but because this is a wig, i push my limits. Let'S see what i can do. Okay trust me when i tell you that i tried you know what like, even though there's a ton of breakage, you can't tell where the highlights were supposed to be, but while i was training this wig, i had a wonderful idea. Okay and this idea needs a little bit of wig glue and a little bit of hair. Do you see where i'm getting yet, let's see if this works alrighty, i'm just going to pull the hair to the side and get some glue on this hair and i'm going to try to get it as close to the scalp as possible? Okay, that's not bad! That is not bad and then we'll we'll have to trim it afterwards. So let's get a little bit over there. Okay, this is gon na go under here. Okay, it's a little messy, but things are happening. Have i done it? Have i figured it out? The answer. Might shock you, but it is yes. I have figured it out. Look at this! Oh, oh! What in the world honestly, this was just a fleeting idea. This was a last resort, but look at these look at these highlights that are glued on there with wig glue. Honestly, not bad they're, a little short, but you know what actually lindsay lohan's hair in freaky friday. The blonde is short: is it from breakage or was it on purpose? That'S the question, but i would say this is a success. So what should we do? What do we do now? Huh? Do we try it on? She said? Yes, oh my goodness i am shook. I am shookity shook yes, this hair. This hair is a lot longer than her hair, but i like it. Yes lindsay lohan 2003. It'S me definitely could have added more blonde, but i did not want to over pack glue at the top, and i spent like three days on this two days of it. I was just like, oh no. What do i do?
