I designed the technique of using adhesive tapes to bond on hair units 20 years ago when I owned a hair replacement center. It's uncanny how a lot of young Youtubers are using the same technique today, but with their own unique flair.

It is a pleasure to finally meet you so happy to be here. I am excited about this new hairstyle can't wait to see it. Okay! Well i'll! Tell you what, because of all this, that's going on, i'm going to wear my mask and i'm going to. Let you take yours off because we're going to be doing your beauty, makeover and your hair, so that mask might impede that so feel free to go ahead and take that off. Okay and thank you again so much for coming we're going to do something for you today that i used to do 20 years ago. I remember: do you remember? Oh wow, i'm honored that you remember okay, well, we're gon na get started just make yourself comfortable. I will be with you very shortly. Okay, thank you. So much. Thank you so much for joining me for this very special segment. It'S special to me because the technique i am doing on vanessa today, i designed over 20 years ago when i owned a hair replacement center, i'm still using the same technique, but i've innovated just a little. The first thing that i do for vanessa's installation is to prep her hair, i'm going to install vanessa's hair unit in three sections. I'Ve already cut the hair for the middle section and applied walker tapes to the entire perimeter. These tapes are wonderful. The bonding time can be up to two months and with the unit as short as vanessa's, she can actually shampoo the unit on her head because these tapes are waterproof. Next, i install the right side of the unit. This section blends into the middle unit seamlessly and contours to the shape of her head for a natural close-up appearance after i have cut it to blend with her own hair. The left side is the parting side. I installed that with two tapes and then trim away the excess lace. It'S very important that i tweak the hairline. That'S what makes it look really natural when viewed up close now, i blend the two side units with the top and mold the hair in preparation for the final styling after her makeup application people. If you'd like to see vanessa's makeup application, you can click the link in the description, i'm basically just tweaking and thinning and tapering just to make the appearance as natural as possible. I use that to be glue, free, spritz to mold her hair in place and form a barrier, and then i use black spray on hair color to give the hair a natural faded appearance followed by another layer of got to be glued to form another barrier. To keep the color from fading, i blow dry to seal all hairs in place and vanessa is set and ready to go. Thank you so much for joining me. Please, like us comment, subscribe, take care and stay safe.
