So, hey you to to drill marks Lisa V here and today's project will be creating a lace front. Crochet we! Now! If you follow my channel, you know I've made a number of crochet wigs using either as the basic wig cap I purchase at my beauty. Supply store the braided or cornrow cap, or the premium diamond medic crochet wig cap and all those have turned out fairly. Well, especially if I was using clicker or curlier hair. The problem comes with using different styles of hair, especially straight styles, of how to get the front of your wig looking more natural and what to do with that pesky band. So I got this idea in mind for awhile of adding lace to the front of a crocheting weekend today, I'm going to actually try it to make things a little easier. I found this really lightweight lace. We kept online at amazon.com. I plan to a texts that are so it to one of these second goes premiums crochet, we get also purchase a set of ventilating needles, and the hair that I'm going to use is the brief drift free loop, crochet, Jackie, thin pinky. Let me just say this is my very first attempt at ventilating late, but I didn't know how to crochet great either before my very first climb so disliked. Then I have watched the number of YouTube videos with instructions and the men ventilating needle I purchased is designed much like a crochet foot, so the technique will be fairly similar. Just that the light is a lot. Smaller has very small holes, but I'm going to do practice run in the back, which turned out fairly well, hopefully, my finished wig will awesome. My plan is to create a custom lace, front crochet, wig cap by sewing DC, wig caps together and then cutting out the majority of the base of the lace cap to expose the diamond netted crochet cap. So I can do my crochet now if it turns out well, I plan on probably investing in a canvas block head for wig making to you instead of the styrofoam, because I've seen that that's a better option. So I sit both the caps together using a zig zag. It'S on my sewing machine in order to retain the stretchiness of the elastic and now I'm going to cut away the base of the lace cap away from the premium netted crochet cap and I'm just going to leave the lace out in the front around the perimeter. So here's my custom lace, front. Crochet cap, I'm going to go ahead and start crocheting, the free loop, hair on and I'll be back when I got that off completed and I'm ready to start insulating. The lace almost finished with the crocheted portion of my wig again, the hair that I'm using is from pre-stress if they're crocheted, yaki ten inches and it's come 28 3 loops, Electrolux trim, perfects. I am going to go ahead and finish this portion. My 1/2 here left in the front, of course our gentle ating. Now I'm not cousin T doing this tutorial on ventilating. So this is my very first time, but I will be back once I have a good portion done and show you the technique that I'm using. I am very close to finishing my custom: waist strap crochet twig now I have already been the latest a lot of the lace right here in the top and as you can see, this is the band of the premium diamond medic wig cap, that is covered by The lace I'm going to continue ventilating, that lace and probably down below the bands, maybe about a quarter of an inch. So this is one of three ventilating needles that I purchased in a set on amazon.com. I believe this size, if you plan to pick up a couple of strands of hair at a time that is one of the challenges I've had because the holes on this lace are very, very tiny and I've been picking up a little too much hair at so. Here'S the technique in one hand, you have the hair over your finger like so you pick your ventilating Nimmo place that and get a lace and one of the whole tasks, the hair over your needle and pick up a couple of strands. That'S is, for all through the whole loop and pull the strands through until it forms a knot. Hope you can see that right there. So, let's try that again. I'Ve got my hair, I'm going to flip my desolating needle and one little hole pick up. Some strands of hair we're going to loop and pull the strands through until it forms a nut and there's my little knot. Hope you can clear that right away, I am finished ventilating the hairline in the front of my wig, I'm going to go ahead and try her on now and see how she looks, make any adjustments that are needed and go ahead and trim the light. So this is my finished unit on. I think the hairline is going to be fine, so I am going to go ahead and trim the lace off cambers do a little styling and I will be back with like completed flip. I am back with my completed unit with the lace trimmed away. I think the hairline looks really really natural, not bad for first times insulating lace. I also styled the hair some with my blow-dryer. I will give you a quick 360, so you can see it from all angles. Let me know what you think you do so that will do it for this video featuring my custom-made lace, front crochet unit. I think I'm gon na call her and Lacey YouTube. As always, thank you so so so very much for watching. Please, post any questions comments down below. Miss Overcomer: This is bomb!! You just took crochet wigs to the next level! You are so underrated!

Magnolia Alexander: You did a good job for a beginner. I wanted to be entered into your sweepstakes also.Keep up the good work.

qtbeddecor: Yes, I always make my own ventilated frontals for my wigs to hide the band. Save the lace that you cut off, and use it on another wig. The needle I use is much smaller for delicate lace. Save your money on buying a wig block, unless you can find a good deal on one that comes in a ventilating kit, but you really don't need one. You did an EXCELLENT job for this to be the first time ventilating. Love your surprises!!!! x0x0x0x0x0
