Asteria Hair || Beginner Friendly 5X5 Body Wave Closure Wig Install Easy Bald Cap Method

I have reviewed one of their wigs before in the past, but it's the first time i'm working with their company. They sent me their 5 x, 5 hd lace, closure. This is a body wave wig in 22, inches and 180 density. This is a close up of the hair texture. You can see the loose waves. My first impressions was that the hair was really silky and yeah. I really love that, and this is a close-up to show you what the 5 x 5 hd lace closure looks like, and if we take a look inside the wig you'll see the lace once again and you'll see three combs two at a side, one at the Bottom and this wig comes with an elastic strap and they also sent me a wig cap, a pair of their eyelashes, an elastic, strap to help lay those edges and lay your lace down and also an edge comb. Okay guys. So i'm going to go straight into this and i've just placed a wig cap on my head and then i'm taking a powder close to my skin tone and i'm just going to tint that wig cap. So today i actually won't be sticking down my wig cap. I just don't like it pulling on my edges, so i'm using a wig grip. You can literally get any of these from amazon, so just choose whatever one you like and i'm fitting the wig on top. So i decided to customize the wig before i stick it down, so i sorted down my middle parting. I'M then going to pluck the front to make it look more natural. Also another note i did wash this wig before installing it today and i brushed it. Hence, why you're not seeing the body wave curls, but i will definitely put those back. Don'T you worry so after plucking i'm using a hot comb just to flatten the top of the wig? I don't want to straighten the rest, because i need that texture to hold the curls. I use my cara care wax, stick just to lay it down a bit more. This helps so much and also just to see how natural the front looked after that was done. I just adjusted the wig to see how everything looked, and i was happy with this. I tend to not over pluck. This is perfect for me and then i'm going to cut off all the lace at the front, so i usually stick the lace down. First then, cut off the excess, but because it's a five times five there's not really much lace to work with it's really simple, so i just decided to cut everything off and then i will stick it down the glue that i am still loving is ghost bond. It just holds so well and i'm putting that at the front of my forehead and well away from my edges again, it's so much better than five times five, because you don't have to worry about it, sticking over edges. I think i'm actually preferring this um i've. Just noticed a huge difference but yeah after i did two layers of that. I stuck the wig down. I didn't show it in the previous clip, but i usually use an eyebrow pencil just to mark out where i want to stick my wig down. So i don't get too much glue on my forehead, but anyway, after that i am going to use my elastic band and just wrap it around to lay that lace. So as i'm doing that, i'm going back to straightening just the top of this wig i want it laid. So i'm just going to take my time and do that again. I also use cream of nature mousse just to mold the hair, how i want it to also i just find that it lays the top so much better, don't use too much of this product. You just need a little bit, but yeah a little goes a long way now to bring that texture back. I am using my hair straightener and i'm putting curls all throughout the hair. Now one thing about this hair is that it was really thick. I thought that i was like curling forever. Honestly, it is it's thick, it's thick hair. So literally take your time with this bit and another note. I think it's best to definitely use a serum with this hair. As i said, the hair was very silky and you want to use like a serum or like a hairspray to definitely hold the curls so make sure you do that um. I did not put serum this time and i wish i did because the hair was so silky. It'S like oh yeah. It doesn't need moisture, but definitely do that and after one side is done, i'm going to do the same thing to the opposite. So i'm pretty happy of how long my headband has been on, so i'm going to remove that and for this hair i just wanted like soft loose like beach waves. So i took my wide tooth comb. You always want to use a wide tooth comb or you will literally comb everything out and it will get frizzy, but yeah, i'm just going to go through that and just yeah mold the curls. How i want it to i'm, then taking my powder and i'm pressing that at the front of the lace, so it blends in with my skin after that, i'm using a concealer and i'm placing that right along the middle parting. So i was going back and forth on whether i wanted baby hairs or not, but i always do them. I can't help it so i put a little bit of mousse at the front just to put some of the hair out of the way. I am then going to section off a bit that i will cut to use for the baby hair for this, i'm using cream of nature mousse once again and i'll be using the got to be gel, then i would do the same thing to the opposite side. So i was pretty happy with how the hair was looking and i liked how late it was, and i decided to add a few more curls at the front. As i'm finishing off this look, i just want to review the hair so, as i said, and i've said it a couple of times, this hair was really silky. I liked the shine of it. It was really beautiful to work with. I definitely think that you need a serum just to hold the curls if you want them to be more tightly. Curled definitely do that. Overall, this wig was nice and thick. As i mentioned, i really like the density of it and also i didn't notice much shedding, which i absolutely love, and i don't know if that's just because it's a five times five closure and there's not much lace at the front but yeah. It'S been great. I'Ve been wearing it for a couple of days and i can honestly say i'm very happy with it, and i've been getting compliments as well, which i love. So this is the final result.
