The Curls On This Wig Is Giving! Curly 5X5 Closure Wig Install | Westkiss Hair

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel hope, you're doing well today. I have got this wig in store for you guys this wig that girl this wig is that girl. This wig is from west kiss hair. This is a curly um closure, wig baby. This wig is everything. So when you receive the box, you will of course receive the wig, and i also did get in my box um a really pretty purple bonnet and, of course, you get a bag to put the wig in as well, which is really nice. When companies do that, i really do love that it's a great way to store your wigs. So what i did was um. I actually dyed this wig jet black, so i used the watercolor method to dye jet black, because that's just my preference, i don't like the natural color that wigs come in um, so i did that and then once i dyed it jet black, i then went in And bleached the knots i definitely over bleach. These knots like it needs to be saved, but that's okay. So once i've done that, then i am ready to install this wig. So if you want to see how i got this wig install, then just please keep on watching. So now i am ready to install my wig, so it is all dried. This is what it's looking like. The knots are bleached. I think i did like over bleach. My knots a little bit because the roots are looking a little bit somehow some way, but that's okay, we're gon na make it work. So i've got my wig cap on, has all cornrowed underneath and i'm ready to install. I actually have a couple of new products that i'm going to be trying today, and hopefully it helps to give me that ultimate meltdown with this wig. So we shall see so. The first thing that i'm going to do is to tint this lace because, as you can see, it's like that gray, ashy kind of color, so this is new. For me, this is the ebbin or even tinted, lace, spray and i've got this in the color medium dark brown. I don't know if this is the right shade for me, but i figured i'm like a medium dark brown. So, let's just see i was torn between this one and medium brown, but i figured i'd rather it be like more brown than like too light and too ashy, so mmm actually has a really nice smell. I like that, i think, that's a good color. This is definitely better okay, so what i'm gon na do is i'm just going to adjust the straps at the back and then put the wig on my head? Okay, wig! So far what i will say with this wig. My initial thoughts is this: wig, like cap fits perfectly, and what i mean by that. Is you see where the uh this bit stops? It literally stops, above my like on my ear on both sides, usually with closure wigs. I find that this goes down too low and it will stop like on my ear, so it will like sit on my ears like this, and i hate that so much, but this one this is perfect so far like i've got a good feeling about this one. I just have a good feeling. This is how we're currently looking so what i'm gon na do is i'm just going to take some clips and pin my hair back out of my face, then what i'm going to do is use this. So again, this is new. For me, this is the ebbin or even wonderlace bond, and this is the black bottle and it says here: um extreme firm, hold supreme and it's supposed to be 20 times hold and it is meant to be sweat resistant. So this will be my first time using this. I'M excited the bottle says to spray two to four inches away from your hair um. So i'm just going to use this to melt down my lace. I'Ve heard so many good things about this, like i've seen reviews on youtube, but i just never thought that we could get it in the uk and i happened to come across it like by chance. So i was like what we have this here. So, of course, i had to pick it up um and try it out for you guys. I feel, like my lighting, is just too bright right. Now, that's better! Okay! So i'm gon na let this sit and now i'm just going to cut this excess lace off and just finish melting this wig down. Okay. So, whilst my lace is melting down, i'm going to start working on my parting, so i'm just gon na take a rat tail comb and i'm just gon na pop, my hair down the middle i'm gon na go for a middle part. Today. Oh, i definitely over bleached my knot, oh girl, you could have done better than that, but it's fine and then what i'm going to use is i bought myself. One of these wax sticks from carrot care. I i usually use like the wax sticks that come with wigs, but all the girlies use this one, so i figured i've got to use it too. So it looks like this. You just kind of push it up. Let me see if you guys can see that so it looks like this and you basically just push it up and then use it. Okay and next, what i'm going to do now that this is flat. I'M going to take this. This is the cantu wave with curling mousse, and i'm just going to put some mousse to define these curls and just to sort of get the body of the hair, nice and flat. This hair feels so silky and, like you, can just comb through it so easily. The curls in this wig is just beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Look at that and now i'm just gon na take this down and then i'm going to work on my baby hairs. I feel like i've. I needed to have pulled my wig down lower and cut closer to the um. To the thing, let me see, do you know what? Because my knots are over bleached, this is really throwing me off because i feel like, like you see all here - yeah there's actually hair here, but it's over bleached, so it just looks like empty, because the knots like all this part of the strands are like dyed. My skin color - oh my god, okay, let me just finish this off and then i'm gon na come back like i need to make this work, because i have made a mess right here, i'll be back okay, so this is the final look i feel like this Is definitely not my best in store, but that's down to like the mistakes that i've made um nothing to do with the hair or um the the lace adhesive that i used. It'S literally me because i should have just brought this more forward and cut this extra excess bit off, but i know better for next time. The next time i install this, i know it's going to look much better because i'm going to like do my lace a bit better, but this is how it's looking. I definitely need to fix the roots and i will do i'll, probably just use some um mascara for now and then, when i've got time, i will go back in and just dye these little bits here. But this is how we are looking. This wig looks so good, it fits so well. It'S super comfortable. The texture of the curls are just beautiful. I love it so much west kiss y'all did that this. This one is a banger. I really really like it um in regards to the products that i use, so this lace, bond, um, etc, i'll, probably film another video to be like more in depth with it um and like my thoughts and everything, but so far, i think i pretty much like Everything i just did a mess up. I just messed up, so i will rectify that another day. Maybe i should come back on here and do like a reinstall to show you guys, like the potential that this could really have, but considering i messed up like this. Still looks really good to me. I really like the way this looks so just a reminder. This is 180 density and it is 20 inches. This wig is so full like for 180 density like this is so full, and this is not even all of the hair. Let me bring it all forward. Look at that. I love it so much if this uh is a bit too full for you. Of course you can go down to 150 density. It does go all the way up to 250 density. I find for this length that would just be way too full that works. If your hair is super long, then you can have it like super full, but for this length, where it's kind of just like just on my chest, if i were to go to 250 density, that would be like it would be giving afro. So i'm happy with the density that i've gone for i'm happy with the length as well 20 inches, and this is where it sits on me so but yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching today's video.
