No Baby Hair! Beginner Friendly 5X5 Closure Wig Install | Yolissa Hair

If you want to see how i achieve this look, definitely stay tuned and keep on watching all right, my love, so we have another hair tutorial and this hair is from yolissa hair. So they sent me the wig and a wig cap as well as an elastic band and the wig that they sent me was a body wave 5x5 hd lace, closure, wig, and it is 24 inches and 180 density and, as usual, the wig comes with two combs On the side in the back - and it also comes with an elastic clip in the back as well for extra security. So, first i'm going to start by going in with my foundation and i'm going to go ahead and put it on the lace so that it can give it a little more natural look because the lace, even though it's hd, i still go ahead, and i bleach My knots beforehand - and i also like to pluck it a little bit just to give it a more natural look, and now i'm just looking at how it looks on my head. You know just trying to make sure that it fits properly and trying to see where i want to put it. So after i've clipped the hair back, i'm going to go ahead and cut the little pieces on the sides, and i usually like to cut it like diagonally, because it just lays properly that way and um yeah. I just like to get rid of that part before i start you know laying my lace so right now, i'm going in with my ebb and wonder: lace bond and i'm going to go ahead and just apply that straight on my forehead um. This is not lace. Glue or anything, so it's not going to rip out no edges like you can easily take it off with water and these days i don't really use lace glue because you know i do a lot of wig installations and i just don't. I need my edges. Okay, so i don't really need the longevity of a lace glue um, so i just use my oven and it just works for me and the thing i really like about this eben spray is that it really holds very well like it holds so much better than It got to be and um you know it's just it dries really fast. As you can see, i was able to lay my wig in like less than like five minutes. So now i'm going to use the elastic band that yolissa hair sent me and i'm gon na go ahead and lay my wig, because for some reason i found that this little elastic band lays my wigs better than like a silk scarf. So i've been really like reaching for this more lately and it's just been working for me. Now, i'm going ahead and i'm cutting my lace and i usually like to cut it in a zigzag motion. So it's not just like a straight line going across my my lace. It'S just you know it just helps. So you don't really see the lace like that and now, as you can see, some of the glue residue is on my head. So i'm going ahead with some alcohol wipes on a paper towel and i'm going to wipe that residue off and then i'm going to go ahead with my foundation brush and just put my makeup back on. So i'm going to be doing a middle part. Obviously - and i'm just going in with my hot comb to just get the hairs to lay down um and just so, i can style it properly. So one thing that really helps me lay my wigs and makes it look really flat is my wax stick? You can get any wax stick like i mean i like this one, because it works for me and i've been using it for a while, but you can pretty much get any wax stick. They all pretty much work the same for the most part, and i like to just use that before i go back in with the hot comb. So it can really give me like a nice flat look and it also makes your hair really shiny and silky. So the second product i like to go in with is this spritz right here and you can find this at your local beauty supply store. Um. I like to use this to also give me like a nice shine, um, and also it like really holds the hair in place like it literally gets rid of any flyaways like you won't even see like a little fly away on your wig, like if you're using This, like trust and believe you will not regret it, so go get you some girl all right. So now i'm gon na go ahead and get started. I'M going to go ahead and curl my hair um. This is a body wave unit, so i didn't want to like straighten it or anything. I want you, i want to show you guys how well it holds like a curl, so i'm just brushing my hair out and i'm preparing to curl the hair. So i like to start off in sections um when i'm curling my hair, i'm just going for like a really nice loose body. Wave, look, you know nothing too, tight or whatever. So that's why i'm using this um curling wand, um and i'm not really too good at curling, my hair, but i do want to start curling my hair often so i can get better at it because i'm really not that good at it. But i really did try my best in this video to like make sure like i got really good curls, but one trick that really helps me when i'm curling my hair is before i let the the curls go completely after i wand it. I like to hold on to the hair a little bit until it like, gets a little cold because it gets it's really hot right. So when you drop it while it's hot, the curls aren't really going to hold that. Well, so you have to hold it and you know sometimes i blow on it. You know or put like a fan to it. Just so you know it can get a little cold like i can cool off before i let the curls go as you guys can see. The curls are looking so beautiful. I was so tempted to like brush my hands through it. I was like all right now. Girl, no girl, you can't so i literally just curled everything together and just put it to the back and got started on the other side of my head. So so now i am done with my curls and, as you can see, the hair is holding up the curls really really nicely. I'M just going in right now with a little bit of finishing touch i like to go in with a little bit of concealer on my lace for my middle part, whatever part that i'm making that day and just define it a little bit more and as you Can see the curls are looking really good um. I really really wanted to cut layers into this hair, but i didn't want to ruin it and i'm not really too good at cutting layers, but obviously you know i'm a try next time. Okay, like i told you guys, i'm not really good at doing curls, but i really want to try and like see what i can do this time. As you can see, the hair really holds the curls so well like it's so bouncy, so shiny and the hair was really really soft. Like i really really like the texture of this hair, and i like the fact that the hair was really full - it wasn't too thick to where it was like, not manageable, but it was really like nice and full to where you know it gives it a little Like body and if you want to go ahead and cut layers into this hair honestly by all means, go ahead and cut layers. Okay, because i'm not going to cut layers. But i know that with some layers, this hair would look so much better. But i really really do like this hair a lot um. I really think you guys should shop this hair. If you like it, it's very manageable. It'S a closure wig, so you don't really have to do too much like you guys see how long it took me to like really just lay the hair. It took me like not that long at all, even though this video was sped up but yeah. I really hope you guys enjoy this video. I really hope you love. This.
