So today's video is going to be a tutorial on this wig that was sent to me from her given hair i'll, have all of the information and promo codes, as well as the direct link to the wig worn in this video down below in the description box. Also included in my package was a wig cap, a wig storage bag as well as instructions, so the weight that i'll be working with today is a 16 inch. 4X4 lace closure wig. The hair texture is coily, which mimics a 3c to 4a curl pattern. The hair color is same as picture, so the cap construction is a 4x4 lace closure, so there is four inches of parting across the forehead, as well as from your forehead. On back. There are three combs an adjustable strap as well as a removable elastic band. I love the color job. I am obsessed with this wig. I love the ombre effect and i love the fact that there are streaks within this wig as well, which gives me balayage. I also received a set of clip-ins. The clip-ins are burgundy, but i'll, be using them to add a pop of color, as well as to add streaks and highlights to this wig straight out of the package. Here'S how the wig looks when you put it straight onto your head. They bleach the knots for us already and the hairline is pre-plucked. The wig does already come pre-cut with bangs, because i may want to wear the hair out of my face. I'M going to pluck a little bit more of the hairs from the hairline. Just for a more natural appearance and to do that step i'll, be doing the beige method of zigzag, plucking and parting. I know that you are already a pro at that if you follow my channel, so i am going to breeze past this part. So now that we are satisfied with the hairline, it's now time to move on to tinting the lace i have one that is labeled skin and i'll, be spraying that on the hairline of this closure - and that is the color of my foundation, which is darker than The scalp color, which i am spraying now and that is the color of my scalp. So here's how the wig looks after being air dried. There is no product on the hair at all, but we do want to define the curls a little bit more. So the first thing that i'm going to do is section off the hair. I'M grabbing my detangling comb and detangling the first section. Next, i'm going to grab a spray bottle of water and i am going to wet that section and then i'll be grabbing a curl. Defining gel using my fingers to rake that gel through that section. Next, i'm grabbing my denman brush and i am just going to go through each section to get those curls to pop i'm going to follow all of those steps for the rest of the head and then i'll come back for the next step. So now that we're finished defining the curls, i'm going to allow the hair to air dry overnight grabbing a razor blade and, using the lightest hand possible. I will be cutting away that extra lace. Of course, you do not have to use a razor blade for this step. You can always use a pair of scissors or whatever tool, you're comfortable with using okay. Now it's time to install this wig, the first thing that i'm going to do is grab got to be ultra glued gel in the black tube. I will apply two thin layers to my hairline. Of course, i do not have to apply it to my entire hairline, because i am working with a 4x4 lace closure, so i only have to apply it to about four inches across my forehead in between each layer. I will be using my blow dryer to make the gel tacky next, i'm grabbing the wig, and i am going to place it in its proper placement. I want a middle part today, so i'll be lining it up with the middle part that i already have in my hair, and then i am going to make sure that all of the combs are secured next i'll be grabbing my head scarf and allowing it to Set for 10 to 15 minutes all right so for the big reveal removing my head scarf. The first thing that i'm going to do is grab my pick and pick the roots of this wig. Just to give it more elevation me, okay, as you can see, i am so obsessed with this wig. I love love love, how natural it looks, but we're going to spice it up a little bit and we'll be adding some color with these clippings. So there are four clippings within this clipping set. I have two of the two comb clippings, as well as two of the one comb clip ins i'll, be using all four pieces of clip ins in this wig. It'S super easy to install. All you have to do is decide where you want that pop of color part the wig, even if the wefts are there, so you're, basically going to press the back of the clip ins. This releases, the comb you're going to lock the comb into the hair and then press the back again and that secures the comb into the hair and i'm just going to decide where i want this pop of color to be and add the clip ins as i Need them, and here is the finished - look. Sometimes i can't decide whether or not i want to do like a brown hair, color or burgundy, but this is literally the best of both worlds and of course you can remove the burgundy at any time. You can add more burgundy, if you wanted to. If you had a black wig, it's so easy just to add, highlights and balayage by getting clippings that are already colored for you and just adding it to your hair. So this is perfect, perfect, perfect! For beginners you get that professional hair coloring look without actually having to damage the hair or even your own hair, because you can even put clippings in your own hair for real to add pops of color. So i'm obsessed with this wig, i love the cut. I love the color. I love the curl pattern. I love how the density of this wig, how this hair flows and moves. I just love this wig. So much.
