Back To The Basics | Diy Wig Ft. Unice Brazilian Bodywave

Hi loves welcome back to my channel so last week I did a video with two ponytails, using this balm Brazilian body way from unis hair, and I told you guys that I was going to make a wig with this and a few you guys asked me to Film it so, of course I did so. This is the hair that I got. I got 24 inches in the bundle, so I got 4 24 inch bundles and one 20 inch closure. I didn't get a frontal this time because I don't know I'm kind of over frontal unless they're already attached the wig, because a lot of you guys know that I wear parts mostly and like having a front. Oh, it's too much work, especially if you're not gon na see the sides anyway. So if it doesn't come on the wig, but I'm probably not going to make away with it um. So this wig was really really simple and the only part that I sewed down was the actual closure um. If you're gon na do this with a hot glue gun like I did for the rest of the wig, then you can technically glue gun the closure down. But I don't know, I just feel weird about the glue seeping through the lace, because the sides are just the lace doubled up. It'S not like a special band or anything around this one. So yeah you can glue it down if you want, but I personally would just sew it down just to be safe and yet just keep it from pilling and unraveling, because when you make your wigs yourselves, especially when you use a dome cap like this over time, They do start to kind of fall apart, um, but yeah. So what I'm doing right now is I'm just taking my needle one thread and it's gon na get tangled a whole bunch, because I made it really long and I'm just going to sew down around the perimeter of the closure and sew it onto the middle of The dome cap, of course you don't sew the front down because you're going to end up cutting the dome cap. That'S underneath this front, o or not front. Look at me now, I'm saying front o under this closure. So once you have it sewn down, it should look something like this and then we're just gon na go ahead and take our glue, gun and begin measuring, cutting and gluing. So first I measure my first piece at the bottom: it's usually around ear. The ear will award where your ears would be, and then I just go ahead and cut, and then I put the glue gun glue on to the web and then I just stick it down. It dries almost instantly. So you do have to do move kind of quick when you do this method using the glue gun, which is why you're gon na see me only doing like sections at a time, because if you put glue on the entire width at once, then by the time You get to the other end. The glue is going to be completely dry and hard and you're gon na have to peel it off and start all over again. So I just do this all the way up and till I get all the way to the top. Where the closure is, and then I glue the last track around the base of the closure like with no distractions. So here I am making my way around the base of the closure and then I'm just gon na go ahead and take it up and show you guys what she looks like and I ended up using the closure in three-and-a-half bundles. So I did not use half a Bund or probably a little more than half a bundle, because I only use a few pieces out of the fourth bundle. But this is what she looks like nice and full and fluffy to the hair is super soft and then I'm just gon na go ahead and cut the piece of the dome cap that is connected underneath the closure. So you don't want to cut too close to the thread from you sewing because you don't want to accidentally cut the thread and then the whole closure falls apart. So you want to leave a little bit just a tiny bit of space between where you're cutting and the thread from sewing on the closure once you're done. It should look something like this and then I'm gon na go ahead and I'm going to pluck a little bit of the closure in the front. The only reason I'm doing this is because I'm not leaving any of my hair out in the front, I'm actually going to be doing one of the methods I did in my previous video with another wink, where I show you guys how I really wear my wigs, Which is why I decided to do a closer this time so yeah, I'm just plucking it a little bit because I'm not gon na leave any of my hair out. But you can totally leave about maybe a two centimeters of your hair out in the front and pull this to the back like right behind it, and you won't have to pluck it like this, but I'm not gon na leave my hair out again so yeah, I'm Plucking it so because I didn't bleach the knots on this closure. I'M just gon na go ahead and take my gut to be glue, free spray and a little bit of my foundation powder and I'm just gon na coat the knots from the bottom. Then I ended up just putting the wig on and wetting her and then put in a little bit of the can to curl defining cream on it, and this is what the final results are. I absolutely love it. The hair is so soft and it's super shiny, like it looks so healthy, and this is it it's not completely dry, but it's not wet. It'S like damp kinda, so I have let it dry a little bit, but I didn't feel like sitting under the blow-dryer or using the diffuser um. So this is what it looked like and actually gon na stay like this, and I like the wet look uh. So yeah hope you guys enjoyed this video. I love you guys and I'll see you on my next one.
