My First Wig || Beginner Friendly No Plucking Or Bleaching Knots || My First Wig

66., what's up best friends, welcome back to my channel, so my first week sent me this wig. This is a yaki 20 inch wig. It is a medium cap, so it fits up to 22.5 to 23. So that's my perfect head size, so the package included some edge control. A comb wax stick: some bobby pins, wig cap, of course, the wigs and some clips - and this is the wig, the color. It'S like a nice, warm honey brown. It is a yaki texture, so it is a very thick wig. Okay, it comes with three combs of the adjustable straps and a elastic band with the my first, my first wig that is etched on the elastic band. The wig is pre-plucked and the bleep and the knots are bleached, so this wig is a good wig for beginners because it comes with everything done. All you do is just style it to your liking. Okay, so this is the hairline. You really couldn't see it um while it was laying down. So i just want to make sure that i just did a close-up of the hairline for you guys it is a very natural um wig in the hairline okay, so um. This is a yaki straight texture. So i wanted to keep the yaki straight texture. I didn't really want it to press it bone straight, still, press it out, so i just lightly went through it to get all of the waves and kinks out of it because i was gon na i am. I did wear this hair and a half up, half down, um look and it was bomb and yeah. So that's basically what i'm doing right here is i'm just going through with my flat iron and just making sure that the hair doesn't have any waves in it and making sure that it is straight. So after the wig is straightened. I am going to take this wax stick by kayla. She that's one of my friends that is on facebook. She wanted me to try her wax stick and i so love it. I'Ve been using it on all of my um units and installs and all my friends. It'S just bomb okay, so i am going to put that on the hairline, because i am going to go in with the hot comb and i am going to uh. You know press that out to make it flat and smooth because, like i told you, i'm doing a half up, half down look, and so i want to make sure that the front of the hair is smooth. Originally, i was gon na go and um. I was gon na go and do a no baby hair. Look but um. I don't know this cap kind of fit me a little bit snug for it to be a 22.523, so i'ma. Let you guys know that this cap does run small for me all right, because i really didn't get to customize my hairline shape, like i normally do, you'll see what i'm talking about when i put the wig on it's going to look like straight claw across not Like how i normally get to like really utilize my hairline and make it my own um so yeah, so i'm just going to show you guys how i did my half up down um. I noticed at the end of this video when i was installing this unit that i had to take the ponytail down and then re-put it on myself, because when, when i'm, when you doing ponytails, you kind of pull the wig and make it tight. So it was a little bit tight when i was trying to put the wig on with the ponytail, so i had to let it go and then re-put the ponytail back up so you're going to see me do that as well um and just to cover that Elastic band, i am going to wrap some hair around it use my got to be free spray and then i'm going to take my pressing comb and then, like still still the um, make it hard. So the last i mean the hair in its place with the comb or you can use a blow dryer to do this as well or you just wait till it air dries, but you know i wanted to get it over with. So i just used my pressing comb to just seal it and it was perfect and i like to style my hair, because i like to take pictures of the final wig before i install them, because it is it. You know i like to upload them on instagram and, if you're not following me on instagram, go ahead and do that all right. So this is what the wig looks like. I literally did not have to bleach the knots okay, i did not have to pluck the hairline all right. This was ready to go so now that i'm putting the wig on i'm going to adjust it on me and then i'm going to take my boho liquid gold and start applying this wig. So this is what i'm starting to notice that the wig around the hairline is kind of tight, and i don't and i'm - and i can't really customize the shape to how i normally would so. I am going to take my boho liquid gold, spread it out smoothly and then apply my wig back down and blow dry it on warm until it is completely dry. Do what's up so i left the ponytail down, so i could have a little bit more room. Wiggle room to apply my wig, and so it gave me a little bit more room, and so i just made sure i did section by section: do not use liquid go on on the entire put. Don'T do not apply liquid gold, i'm sorry on the entire cross of your forehead. Do it in sections, because this is a runny texture. It'S not sticky like a regular glue, so it won't stay in place. You have to dry it down and dry it down. So i'm doing from from the middle to side to side when i'm doing my install and then after i do the install i'll go ahead and go in with my elastic band, and i keep it on my foot. My foot my face for about maybe like 10 minutes, so i can make sure that everything is dry, so i could go in and cut the lace off and everything like that. So at this point i'm the lace is already cut. You guys see me cut lace. So many times and my baby hair is done and i'm just going to go in and re-put the ponytail back into my hair and that's basically the end of this video you are going to see me use the got to be free spray again and spray. My hairline just to blend everything back in just to make sure that the lace is super melted and i do use my ruby kisses in the shade 16 to, like you, know, camouflage my lace, and that is the perfect um makeup. Color right here right here is the perfect makeup color for me and my skin tone. So i would say you want to find a lace color that is the closest to your natural skin tone when you're doing this method, because you want to be able to wear your wigs without makeup without your lace. Looking dark and everything like that. So i i use ruby kisses in the shade 16 and then i right here, i'm gon na put my elastic band on and spray my hairline down with got to be free spray, and that is it you guys. I hope this. I hope you guys like this video in this hair. I actually like really loves yaki straight hair textures like it's one of the best, you could get a 130 density, yaki straight texture and it'll. Look like 180! That'S that's a that's! A bar right there on its own, because you don't have to pay that much to make your hair look super full, but you know it'll, give you the blow-dry look!
